went to see the x-men movie last night. i liked it. then again, i went in expecting an over the top blockbuster, heavy on the special effects, so it delivered. also, i never read the comic book.
oh the neck. why does it plague me so? went for a massage yesterday but still it aches.
observation: why is it that almost all male masseuses are bald? it makes it difficult for me to tell them apart.
tonight is the 5th annual roof top party. I am very excited. Hope my costume works out as planned.

i had a great time hangin' with kapoor and ash last night. even though we've all just met, it felt like we're old friends.
it was really strange to interact with someone who looks so much like me. we both agreed that seeing each other made us feel better about ourselves (ie i'm not as *big* as i think i am, or that my hair colour is striking and freckles are attractive...)
reminds me of my rant on redheads. i'll have to post it on the site sometime soon.

today was a busy one.
tonight: salad king + shopping + girl is a girl documentary with kapoor and her roomie - my doppelganger, ash.
i met ash at the roffster's firework get-together this weekend. she bears a striking resemblance to me! same height, same size, same red curly hair and glasses. creepy. i feel unspecial.
my mission: to get a photo.

s'been awhile since I've had a chance to write. my neck started acting up again this weekend (too much laptopping last week!)... sign of the online times, baby.
watched a lot of movies while i was achin':
babe - so cute! made me want to re-read charlotte's web and animal farm.
the unbelievable truth - second time, hal hartley speaks to me in a language all his own -especially via audrey, the intelligent, beautiful, highly-literate, apocalypse-obessessed drama queen.. (so me, it hurts) highly recommend it.
sweet & lowdown - love woody allen, but i passed out and missed the end (typical elanamatic video viewing behaviour...)
