it's been a great weekend so far. loaded with vampires, chocolate and fun. saturday night the dude and i went for pho and then rented the buffy movie. don't know if i ever watched from end to end before. love it.
saturday was our two year anniversary. scary. i've never been in a relationship this long. we went out last night to celebrate. saw shadow of the vampire and then had a taste of creole style cooking at southern accent (prob. my fave restaurant, i highly recommned the cajun ceasars, slurp)...
seeing as i was celebrating, i foolishly indulged in all my many vices, including a post meal coffee.. let's just say i was up drinking baileys to cure my caffeine induced insomnia until well after 3:00 a.m. - still groggy.
today, i treated myself to a massage. does the body good. mmm..
this morning began my path to higher creativity. i did my first morning pages as part of julia cameron's book the artists way. very exciting stuff. here's hoping i can maintain the workload...

toronto's first urban commercial radio station will begin broadcasting tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET. i'd say it's about time, but it's actually beyond that. it's so overdue, fines should be paid.
Flow 93.5's site will be live later tonight.

for the past couple of days i've been aching to go to montreal. i miss the city and my fave haunts. until today, when a snowstorm made this city into a winterized traffic nightmare and forced the office to close. i tried to take the ttc there, ended up waiting an hour for the bus, got a call to turn around and go home. only in tdot! just woke up from a long nap. snow days rule!
digiplebes has been updating like mad. lots of linkage. haven't checked 'em all but my fave is this one here. definitely bookmark worthy.
so looking forward to tonight. i get to hang with raine for the first time since i've been away *and* watch survivor II.
now i must wrestle with the biggest of snow day dilemmas - do i want to go to the gym or scarf junkfood and read mags? hmmm.. which do you think i'll choose ;-)

back online. hurrah. my vacation was better than expected. totally chilled out and detoxed. had a great time with anat and even the fam made themselves bearable. i only went online once, to check out the olp life video transmission event. besides, my dad brought his new laptop - see, i inherited all my nerd tendencies. i also sent one e-mail to raine.
spent most of my time working on my tan, walking, swimming and curling up with a dirty book, lolita - look for a book babe review coming soon!
saw some movies too. including traffic, chocolat and the wedding planner (i gave in b/c anat is getting married..)
have i mentioned before that i am in love with johnny depp? it's true. saying that, i am definitely warming up to benicio del toro. hubba hubba.
bizzaro, i just looked up johnnydepp.com and it's part of some earth concious celebrity webring. wacko. oh and btw, i don't just love jd and bdt cos their hunky. they act damn good too.
two cds i want: badly drawn boy - every critic i
respect has hailed it as a must and godspeedyoublackemperor - b/c they're from montreal and idealists. love those bad boys.

oh, the dude went to b.c. this weekend and tried snowboarding for the first time. some duuudes took him to the top of blackcomb and he made it down in one piece. plus he loves it. i am really excited because the thought of hitting the slopes solo for the rest of my life was depressing.
