today wasn't too painful but everyone kept saying how tired i look. poo on them.
tonight, going to see the offspring and cypress hill with raine.
yay.
i love free pizza.
oh, btw, the dude and i are having our housewarming party this saturday. if you haven't received an invite yet, please e-mail me. i was having problems with my outgoing mail for a bit.
it's also the dude's birthday on tues. dec. 12, so remember to pants him when you see him next. i still don't know what to buy. have any suggestions?

hmm..
the lecture on liquid narrative was very interesting. got me excited for the future of gaming technology. saw a quicktime movie demonstrating an early prototype for microsoft's new x box. of course it featured a giant killer robot and a female avatar with big boobs. sigh. on the feminist front, the future of gaming still looks bleak.
later, andrew came by. he brought a tape of last night's simpson's and x-files. the simpsons was a refreshing episode, it almost had a plot. bonus: homer even has a personal webpage, pretty much a weblog or pita imho.
my favourite detail was the frog floating in the lava lamp.
the x-files felt like a ripoff. agent doggett is no mulder. and the creepy kid looks like an evil mini eminem. and what is up with using the blair witch symbol? yawn.
the dude is complaining cos he hates winter. why? b/c it's cold. brrr, is right.

i need a weekend from this weekend.
friday night i passed out early.
yesterday i managed to grab brunch with jenn. it was great to finally catch up. we aimed for xxxdiner but the wait sent us packing to sugar. a very trendy "petit dejeuner" kinda place. speaking of which, wanna hear my latest bad joke? ah well, i'll tell it anyways...

saturday afternoon raine and i shopped 'till i dropped so much cash i might have to find a second job. i am a terrible shop-a-holic. once i get going, there is no stopping me. sigh. must work on that.
saturday night saw unbreakable. liked it enough. the pacing kind of unravelled half way through. ran into the baker and ratboy afterwards.
today i went for brunch with my brother. went for groceries. got a massage from a creepy ooompa loompa. cleaned, did laundry and went to visit my cousins.
now it's bath and bedtime.
