quel bummer! i should be checking out le tigre and shebang! right now at lee's palace. unfortunately, my name didn't make it to the guest list. oh well ;-(
i am disappointed but on the bright side i got some exercise walking to and from the club.. and i can spend some much needed quality time with myself, my inbox and my pillow.

here i am again, dying for bed and my book but for some reason i logged on.. i love chain-linking my way across the web.
had another great weekend. the dude's sister was in from l.a. for her bday. spent a lot of time with his fam. my friend jen was also in town from nyc. spent today shopping with her and her younger sister carly and judy. it was like old times.
tonight, a bunch of us went for sushi to my fave place, ema tei. we got to sit in one of the rooms with the sliding doors and the suspended table. it was like a private catered dinner party.
the weirdest thing happened when i went to the washroom. a girl there said hi to me and asked if i was from toronto. she explained that she was from vancouver and was visiting toronto for the first time through her church. i assumed she was about to ask me to list some cool places to visit/hang. instead she asked me if i would be interested in going to church with her here in toronto? i said i was not interested. how random.
