looks like a bootiful day out. think i might try to go for a swim. later, pino and i are going to catch a play at the fringefest. so much to do, so little time.
had dinner with my folks (in for the weekend) and the dude last night, i treated. they were very impressed. it was nice to spend some time with them.
thursday night was organic. free martinis + real grass on the floor + dj spooky = hangover friday. i survived though. had a great time with sumokitty and bgosh.

i am so not a slut. only 43%, how diappointing. i chose johnny depp as my dream score.
yesterday I got mail from margaret atwood. impressed? don't be. it was a spam donation request from the harbourfront reading series but MA signed it and everything! i feel cheated though, as I only opened it because of the margaret atwood return address on the envelope. doh.
i've only been to one of the harbourfront reading lectures. it was douglas coupland reading from his novel "girlfriend in a coma". while the book sounded interesting, his reading was anything but.

i am canadian...
spent canada day weekend at ariel's cottage in the muskoka's. we were an eclectic crowd. great to meet new people yet still get away from it all. couldn't ask for a more idyllic location. the view was fantastic and swimming in the lake was the highlight of my summer so far.
i love being out in nature but i did forget how brutal skeeters are this time of year. would you rather live with mosquitos full time or pollution?
grr.. i want to change my online order at grocerygateway but their server is having *issues*. still, online groceries is the way to go, especially when you don't have a car. i always choose the heaviest products i can think of ;-)
oh, a big up to the dude for helping me fix some frames nonsense i was having. thanks guy!
