hello world. what a busy weekend.. plan was to max and relax b/c my back/neck situation is outta control again.. that did not happen.

got a call friday evening that jw had driven in to toronto from nyc. cancelled dinner with the dude for sushi and girl talk. not to mention some intense insight into life in new york since sept. 11.

yesterday, i attended career reboot. jenn and i spoke on a panel about convergence. i had a great time. meant some wonderful people and had some stimulating discussions.

then we had a dinner party. the dude cooked, while i drank lots of red red wine and entertained. forced myself to wake up at 9 this a.m. for yoga. felt good to stretch out. my spine is still a mess.

then i met newlyweds anat and darrell for brunch... they were visiting from montreal.

what a gorgeous fall day. jude and i walked around the city for three hours this aft.. wandering into stores and checking people out.

must work at curbing my internal shopping cart. it's as though i am on a one-woman mission to save the economy. i am becoming the most despicable consumer.

tonight i caught the travis show at massey hall. what an amazing band, at the ultimate venue. fran healey is such a charmer...
