i came so close to going on a bender. the curse of the eldest child is that i can be too responsible sometimes.

saturday night we went out with the dude's dept. for dinner. then they all came over to our place. it was a fun night but i was not expecting to find a few stray ppl still hanging out at 4:30 a.m.

needless to say most of yesterday was a blur. had some dim sum to cure my hangover.

last night we went to see stereolab at the phoenix. it was an amazing show. they are fantastic live. their music is so full of happy sounds. afterwards a bunch of us went to irie for roti. and beers. many beers. they put me in a good mood.. which was much needed. the dude and i had an ugly fight this weekend. i was starting to rethink the merging of our cd collection.

i am getting over it (i think) but i couldn't help give in to reckless behaviour. i immediately began treating myself to all kinds of junkfood and flirting like a demon.

i am so mature.

don't know if i should be writing about this but i needed to get it off my chest. i am still bitter.

in other news, check out hartley. he's such a cutie. if you want to meet him, he'll most likely be at our upcoming party. oh yeah, we're having a party on saturday, november 17. invites have not yet been e-mailed out but if you're reading this and actually know me offline and still want to come, please do so. it's a total house party, none of this networking bullshit. just booze, food, and tunes.

i am hungry. better go drum up some grub.
