argh. i hate slow internet access days.

just came back from having roti with judy at irie. yum. we were celebrating her engagement. yup, adam proposed to her on a whim last night. she was half asleep with the blanket over her head. how romantic! hehe.. it's a better story when she tells it. the best was when she called her mom, who was also asleep, to tell her. her mom said: " that's nice.. mumble.. is that because you're pregnant?" !?!

too funny. her folks are actually fairly relaxed about the whole thing.

while i am really excited for the new uber couple, i hope the dude doesn't feel pressured by all the hype. i really am in no rush.

i've been having a hard time coming up with things to say lately. the world is just to depressing and i am so sick of receiving e-mail fwd's slamming bin laden and everything else. most of them are just completely racist and insensitive. makes me rethink who i want to give my e-mail addy out to.

saying that, i have to admit that this link does amuse, thanks ariel.

oh, and yesterday i went to see my first post-wtc movie - iron monkey. great escapist vehicule featuring slapstick kung fu - go see it.
