Tuesday, July 2, 2002 - 02:26 p.m. voodoo lady - ween happy belated gay pride canada! recovering from a long weekend in montreal. it took us four hours to reach kingston on friday... unsane. we got busted twice over the weekend. once on our way there: we had pulled over to admire an abandoned field and a man and his dog came over to see what we were up to and rapped on our window... blush! apparently there had been a lot of break-ins in the area. then on our last night in the city we were behaving like delinquents in the park near my parents place. it was around midnight when the neighbourhood security came over with a flashlight and asked us what were up to - he checked under the bench we were sitting on in search of booze, but to his dismay he found none. he informed us that the park is off limits between 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. but since we seemed like decent folks we were okay. hehe. i think i cause more trouble now then i did as a teen. while in montreal, we did the rounds with my grandparents, took my dad to arahova and the jazz fest and even managed to squeeze a few hours in at the tams on sunday. it was great. only friend we had time for was tali who busted up her knee. poor chickie. sunday night we crashed weddings at the ritz and the windsor hotels to check out the bands playing. both were very adam sandler a la wedding singer. we need your help, know of a cool band who will play a jewish wedding? let me know! saturday was our -1 wedding anniversary. weird, a year from now i'll be... married. e. Tuesday, June 25, 2002 - 10:46 p.m. hallo. been doing pretty well these days... stretching out as i walk along the balance beam - focused straight on the immediate. unless i have a coffee, then i fumble up good. the cat's in the cradle and the brain ran away with the mouth! been wanting to update the site often, seeing as i always have a steady inner-monologue.. yet reluctant to truly share what i think with a viewing public. back's been doing great though - spent a number of days virtually pain free! worked out tonight..feels great. came home to a long "wedding" music meeting. man - all this decision making is killing me softly. i am so not interested with the detail and minutiae. ack fizz! pfft. e. |
