four years ago, on this very day, the dude and i got together. we've been joking that today is our last anniversary b/c from now on we will celebrate our wedding day. wedding dates are so arbitrary though - they depend on third party availability. where is the magic in that?

i can still remember vivid details of how it went down. we were at la hacienda. i really had no clue what was about to happen. it's amazing to realize how far we've come. i'd like to bore you with the details but I will be late for my meeting.

sadly, we won't be celebrating tonight. the dude's got free tix to the hockey game and frankly, we need to save all our money for the wedding, honeymoon and possibly a down payment on a house.

we met with a real estate agent this weekend. exciting and terrifying all at the same time. it's time to do our best to budget and try to maintain a frugal lifestyle. it's not going to be easy...

had a great sunday. very indulgent and productive. managed to take a nap in the afternoon, do some reading. we also met up with one of the actors from the dude's short film. she brought along her roomate, they were both lovely girls, very interesting as was our conversation.
