so sleepy... spent the holidays in shul, napping and eating. i think i managed to only eat one meal a day but it seemed to go on for three or four hours.
it was nice to see the fam. and catch up with old friends. not much else to report i s'pose.
oh, 'cept that the dude and i found a new appartment. and it's gorgeous!! and i am so excited to start my life with him. it's two floors - we each have space when we need it. you're all invited over anytime. we move in november 1.
my flight back to toronto leaves at 11:00 p.m. tonight and arrives at midnight. yuck.
i'll be spending the next week looking after with my cousins, Matt and Dave. Their younger bro Mark is starring in a TV movie out in Saskatoon and so my aunt and uncle are away. should be fun!

at least raine was last night. she wore a kimono and chopsticks in her hair for sushi night a la pare-coull. fun and sake was had by all. yum!
apparently i am a klutz. this was just a tip given to me by an anonymous cyberfriend. i suspect jenn is the sneaky culprit. to tell your friends what you really think without them finding out, click here.
tomorrow early in the a.m. i am off to montreal to visit friends and family and celebrate rosh hashana. i am still at work and haven't started packing. looking forward to seeing toutes les montrealais.
oh, btw i was bored at work today and so i decided to hack buzzwords.com. just kidding! thanks mikeh for the prank.

yar! i haven't written in wayyyy too long. life has been packed with surprises and random business of late.
updates on last week: wed - the dude appeared on jenn's tv show, the chatroom.
thursday night was the muchmusic video awards. lots of fun. celeb spotted and took photos on the red carpet. came face-to-face with eric stolz, unfortunately he's more of a big screen hottie. shmoozed with my music biz buddies, always a good time.
friday i was deep in major recovery mode. too much cheap free white wine the night before. i couldn't eat for days afterwards. that night was shannon's stagette. i was coerced into wearing devil's horns and spending a night at "my appartment" - a bar i am not wild about. once i got over the embarrassment i admit i had a good time. lots of retro music but too many people and i hate calling attention to myself in a bar. i am just not the pickup type. i walk in and enter fuck off mode. not fuck me.
the night ended with a greasy meal in chinatown. fun. i want to do more girls nights, there are a lot of clubs i'd like to check out.
the weekend passed quickly. had a great saturday night with raine, even though i slept through ghost dog, a movie i chose.
sunday had brunch with jenn. it was great hangin' with her again. at night my brother and i had sushi at my uncle's. yum!
spent the rest of my time weekend appartment hunting. there's one place we love but it's all still up in the air.i hope it all ends well, and soon!
