i love love being on vacation.
today was a busy one. got stuff done around the house. went to physio. treated myself to a facial (ooh la la).
tonight went to see hamlet. my cousin daniel played rosencrantz. it's good to see live theatre every so often. a refreshing form on entertainment.
tomorrow night we hope to go out dancing and drinking. interested in coming along?
ok. time to check out our brand spanking new dvd player. (got it today!)

hurray! my neck is doing better. still not 100% but i am no longer in constant pain. i even plan on working out later.
i love vacation. watched lots of movies so far. virgin suicides - quirky, little bit loose in places but interesting storyline.
roger + me - a michael moore classic. see it.
gone in 60 seconds - held my interest for 5 seconds. terrible dialogue. ridiculous action. another jerry bruckheimer showoff smashemup piece of crap. angelina jolie's role was unnecessary. they just wanted to add her name to the marquee. there was no romantic tension. or any tension at all. pfft. it sucked.
gladiator - violent but worthwhile. i had to watch some of the gory parts with my hands over my eyes but russel crowe is a true on-screen hero.
ok. today's agenda is organize/clean appt and go to gym. better get movin'

merry xmas everyone!
just came back from a potluck at rel's. fun fun. everyone had to talk about something that inspired them. i spoke of bust magazine. soon as the word feminist came out my mouth, i was pegged as a bra burning broad. funny isn't it. feminist truly has become the new f word
neck doing a bit better today. still pretty crikey though. i will not be defeated.
tomorrow, i am looking forward to spending the day with pinks. we'll be baking oatmeal cookies and going to the movies. vacation is good.
i think elanamatic is almost a year old now. once i heal i intend to add some new features. maybe.

guess what? i even got an e-card from my grandparents!! 'tis the season for online.
my neck is still a mess. it's ruining my vacation. it better improve soon or... or i am going to be really miserable and depressed.
today we are making more sushi. ariel is having a holiday potluck.

oy. my neck is worse than it has been in a long time yet here i am online. the muscles are so tight. what's a girl to do? i am so bored. my only friends are law & order. i am sick of being a couch potato. i had to write. i'll try to keep this short.
i forgot to make an archive last week. oops.
while stuck at home i've been watching a lot of 24 hour news stations. most of it is pretty depressing. especially the u.s. presidency. ugh.
noteworthy news: 47% of canadians online have sent a minimum of one holiday e-card. pretty impressive. i think my friends are nearing 100% saturation. good going guys! you'll prob get one from me in a couple of days when my bod is feeling more surf-friendly.
alright. better get going. neck pain + heavy drugs = too many run-on sentences.
