I've been so dead in blogland. =^_^=;; School has been killing me the past week, but now I am free to frolick in the goodness that is Spring Break.

I finally finished Idoru by William Gibson, the book that Tiimu lent me. It was a pretty good and interesting read, though the ending confused me a bit. Will have to ask Tiimu for clarification when gets back Tuesday ....

Today I happened to find those first few X episodes I was missing and the Ghost in the Shell movie. =^_^= Yay for finding random anime in your locker. Oh, and I came home with Zelda: The Wind Waker and Super Smash Bros. Melee. *drools* Mmm ... and the cel-shading in Zelda is nice, and the style really grew on me rather quickly. I actually think it's cute. =^_^= Link has emotions! w00t! Though he's not pretty anymore ... =;-;=

So, things to do over spring break ....

Reading-wise:
I intend to do nothing but read and finish Kushiel's Chosen. I want more Josceliiiiin~! And Hyaciiiiinthe~! More the former, since I know that Hyacinthe *SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER* won't be released from the tower this book, and anything Hyacinthe-related will just be sad. =;-;= After that, since Avatar's still being passed around and probably won't get to me for awhile, Year of the Griffin for me! Mm ... DWJ ...

Drawing:
I intend to do at least 3 drawings over break. I'm so laaaazyyyyy ... And I need to get HP out of my system. I've been doing nothing but doodling Weasleys for the past few months. Oh, and I'll actually try oekaki for once. Everyone seems to love it, so ... yeah. Ritsu drawings for Furuba layout need to exist.

Games:
Must ... finish ... Xenogears ... Bah. I'm such a lazy bitch. XD It's been a year and a half and I STILL haven't beaten it! Haha, though it'll have some tough competition with Zelda, Grandia, and .hack. Mainly Zelda. X3 But Ted does want Xenogears back before he graduates ....

Animanga:
Need to work on Inuyasha, and maybe I'll watch some X. I've also got lots of sCRYEd and Naruto I need to watch. I've got several chapters of Recca manga to catch up on! Must read it aaaaaaaall. I got pretty lazy after mangaproject released them so slowly ... so I just recently got a good deal of snoopycool's stuff. Btw, Hemlocke, Kakashi-sensei is AWESOME. =*-*= I'm trying to decide who I like more, him or Naruto. X3 Naruto's such a cute, little good, but Kakashi's just so insanely cool! I'm reading the Viz's Shonen Jump translation, which is really not that bad. I don't mind translated techniques all that much. Oh, and I'm hitting volume 9 of KareKano manga. Kazumaaaa. =*-*=

Movies:
Wanna watch Chicago, Bend it Like Beckham (sp?), and Cowboy Bebop movie in theaters. HP2 DVD is coming out, and I'm looking forward to that. =^_^= I think I'll see if the Nicastris can take care of Anna a few days next week so I can try to go out, or maybe even go with Mrs. Nicastri to see a movie. She'd probably like Chicago and BILB.

Misc:
I need to write the Rin and Fluffy scene for neechama's epific. Hehe, see me write and SUUUUUCK~! XD Oh, and I need to get Wen the Wolf's Rain OST ... remind me to that, Eve? Especially since you have her sn? =^_^=;; Anyone else who wants it leave a message or IM me. dragonofskies, remember? Keroppi's layout will be HTMLed, I'll try to get pics for the Rin layout, and was I doing anymore? Hemlocke, how did you want me to help you with your layout? OOH! And I need your MSN! =^_^=

I want to play Zelda, but Anna's using the tv for .hack ... mmm ... zeldaaaaa ....

I'm getting really sick of Miroku. This was just me having way too much fun with a pervert and film grain. I'll probably have a filler layout soon.

More Viz Potential? (08:26 PM EST): A brief scan through the Barnes & Nobel listings indicate some other interesting releases in July for manga, which may also indicate anime acquisitions. The two listed that I had not previously seen listed were Wedding Peach and Flame of Recca. Recca has two volumes solicited in fact.

Well, I finished The Princess Bride and it is indeed uber-cute as I had expected. Waaaai~! Fezzik is so cute! Now I want the rest of Buttercup's Baby , the sequel that was only partially included at the end of TPB. My only gripes with it is that Buttercup, who was much more tolerable in the first book, becomes very "oh, I can do absolutely anything with you by my side, dear Westley!" Ah well. Waverly and Fezzik! *bounce*

.hack//dusk is cute. cute cute cute. Except for the implied incest. *nods* I got Neechama to sparkle with me, so you all know you want to join us. =^_^=

You know what annoys me? Mothers. Talkative mothers. Not /my/ mother, but those silly mothers at Tae Kwon Do. All during the belt test they were just gabbing away incessantly. It's so rude! Grah! I wouldn't mind if they read quietly or something ... but booo. They're silly.

Happy. =^_^=;; Trying to get more .hack OSTs ... nooo .... not obsessed ... especially not after listening to the Noir OSTs over and over and over and ... *hits self* After this, I'll go looking for the Ghost in the Shell OST. Noir Special Edition DVD is out, and Tiimu has it. XD I waaaaant. Then again, I have the m3g4t0ky0 chapter zero book before him, and I didn't even have to preorder. XP

The m3g4t0ky0 book is friggin awesome. It's incredibly fun to be able to flip through the pages and see Fred Gallagher's art change. Especially in the back section with the Dead Piro Days. There's this one picture of Kimiko that's so horribly disproportioned made way back in the day. He redid it, and the change is really mind-boggling. =O-o= Well, not really, but it's very different. Oh, and for the first 3/4 of Chapter Zero, Piro has comments on the bottom of the pages when he still had the cube manga format. They're very amusing. Oh! And the Shirt Guy Dom's are all concentrated into one section of p4!n. Sw33t. (Oh, and lately, I've become much more accustomed to sp34k!ng !n 1337. It's fun.) Ah, feeling the MT love here.

Another thing. D-A-I-suki~! I'm talking about Do As Infinity. Yesterday and today, I downloaded their albums True Song and Break of Dawn. *sparkle sparkle* They're so friggin good. Tomiko's voice is absolutely breathtaking. XD "Raven" is a current favorite. Mmm ... working on getting Deep Forest, right now. *prods IRC* Get me through them damn queue lines.

Saturnalia has a really cute style. A lot of their fanart is good too. =*-*= Makes me want to get on with Suu-chan's comic.

Thing is, though, our styles contrast massively. I don't know how the hell we're going to pull this off. Hmm, though I'm thinking of doing all the layouts for it. The layouts she's made are pretty messy and unprofessional, from what I've seen. (I'm talking about manga page layouts, not web page layouts.) I'm also thinking about re-lining them in paper and then photoshopping the layouts. Maybe that'll work better. Speaking of layouts for the comic ... the web layout is so not finished. Argh. Working on it.
