Quick recap time again. Goodie goodie gumdrops.
Tuesday: Work all morning, toward the end of which I developed a hideous migraine. Came home, collapsed in an unconscious heap on the couch, woke up briefly to eat, watch tv and chat, fell asleep again.
Yesterday: A very fun day at Yaohan plaza and Ikea. I acquired silverware and snack foods, and Nick bought sake for himself and a very wonderful Spike wallscroll and brocade-covered journal for me. And yes, he's now officially my boyfriend. Hee.

And now, off to lunch. Which will be unique, as our secretary has unintentionally double-booked drug reps bringing in food. XD Maybe they'll battle territorially.

'I dig my toes into the sand.
The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue plate.
I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless.
And in this moment I am happy.'

Wow, have I ever needed the past few days. Nothing but beach and forest, sand and fallen leaves and silver nights. I want -- no, I need to get home and write, write until my fingers fall off. College starts in just over a week, but somehow I don't care. I feel refreshed.

Well, the week has consisted mostly of shopping, packing, and cleaning. Augh, college frightens me beyond all words. Yesterday was fun; I got to finish shopping. I'm so very happy, as everything I like to wear is now in style. Net tops. Ties. Pinstripes. Eeeeeeeee.

I really must update the blog when I get home.

Well, I have just over 100 charts to go. At which point I can begin data entry for every appointment made before the new computer setup!

. . . *sob*.

Oh well. As many of you might have guessed, work has become far too busy for me to even think of bringing in Virgil, so it's back to palmblogging for awhile.

I was just reflecting on society, and realized that the American habit of impulse-eating is pracically a trained behavior. From school through employment, too many people find themselves in mundane, ordinary, and even isolated situations until lunchtime, when socialization and a 'break' are readily associated with food. I know that, for me, it's a struggle not to snack at work simply to provide a bit of variety. I guess I'm trying to replace that behavior with blogging; both are a welcome respite.

Wow. When Pitas called themselves 'healthy', they didn't know the half of it. ^^;

Well, here I am, making the batch copies for the last 50 or so charts. And, given this chance to blog without fear of being reprimanded by my superiors, I can recap yesterday.

Spent a rather liesurely day roaming Chinatown with my sister, mom, and Nick. Nick discovered the wonders of hole-in-the-wall bakeries, cramped little noodle shops, Asian grocery/general stores, and boba tea. Kit and Amber will be proud to know that my sister is continuing the proud tradition of the Boba Ninja. Then I went over to Nick's and played yet more FFX and my old used KOF'99. Heh. All in all, a well-spent day off. ^___^

Well, life's been like usual: insane. Thursday saw the usual 10-hour workday, blargh. But on Friday I had a wonderful date with Nick. Mm. And I just spent the better part of Saturday after work lazing around Mojoe's, drinking iced coffee, watching their big-screen through the smoke, sketching, and using Nick as a footrest. Saw a few movies, namely How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, and Daredevil. The former I avidly dislike, for the reason that well over an hour of Stupid Things Girls Do is not my cup of tea. I'll probably rant more abut this in the lj. The latter was okay, and very fun to make fun of at times.

Sunday was nice and semi-relaxed, and today I suprised Nick with breakfast and flowers before going to yoga class and work. All in all, not a bad few days. ^^

. . . thanks. I needed that.

Well, today sure was a Monday. Namely, a bunch of labs and callbacks and an insanely busy front desk. Between filing and refiling, I made over 150 charts from 1:00 to 7:30.

. . . aughpain.

Blogathon on Saturday was so wild. I recovered on Sunday by spending a grand total of 5 non-Blogathon minutes online. The event ended at 8:00 CST, and I went to 8:45 mass. And fell asleep during the homily. ^^;

Tommorow I'm going over to Nick's for dinner and general geekery, and Wednesday we'll probably hit a museum and Chinatown. Eee.

And now, I'm going to run home, before they make me file anything else.

Mmm, copy run. Thank goodness work only goes until 3:00 today, I don't think I'd survive otherwise.

I can't believe I leave for college in a couple weeks. As it is, the act of packing up all my earthly possessions is starting to freak me out. But all that aside, I'm feeling pretty good.

. . . now, if only I could get a chance to write.

What a good few days. ^_^ Yesterday was Dagger-papa's birthday. I actually skipped off for awhile with Nick to buy stuff for college (a vacuum cleaner and plates from Goodwill, and towels from Target). Nick got me a coffee drink and sunflowers. Eee. The boy spoils me so badly. While we were at the thrift store, Nick found an absolutely amazing coat, which I can only describe as an Australian cowboy coat. It's 3/4 length, waxed cotton, with a detachable cape and everything. I, of course, caved and bought it, because it's such a badass coat. I feel like a female Sean Connery in it.

Nick blogs so regularly. I am shamed by my lack of bloggage. Bad, lazy Dag. No cookie.

Life's been good, recently. Been seeing a lot of Nick, and went to a party on Sunday. There were many wonderful rounds of capture the flag, as well as quite a bit of Twister. All in all, a satisfying day, though I did tell Craig that he had awful commanding skills and would've most certainly been fragged in Vietnam. Stupid Craig. He got our team all captured any number of times. 9_9

Nothing much else going on. I work until 3, at which point I'll probably go home, do the hand-washing I need to do on my laundry, finish cleaning my room, do some dishes, and e-mail back my future college roomie. We've been e-mailing for the past few days, and she seems like a whole lot of fun.

. . . grar, I'm hungry.

I have Ein doggie!!!

Eee! The ever-wonderful Nick decided to suprise me with my very own cow-woofwoof (Bebop fans may now roll their eyes). I shall proceed to squeal over the soft plushiness for the next approximately 2.3 years. Hee.

In other news, the graphic design business continues to go splendidly. My first job is as good as done. ^_^
