They kicked Audrey off of C Idol. And yet Gary is still there. WHY IS GARY STILL THERE?!?!?! He's just another mediocre R&B singer who sounds like every other piece of radio crap. Audrey had a good voice, at least. But he will not last against the walking balls of dorky charisma that are Ryan and Billy. The two of them not only sing really well together, they also have more fun than anyone else. And they're more fun to watch, which is obvious. (See Billy lick cake off of Ryan's cake server! See Ryan try to imitate Billy's rocker poses and fail cutely!)
...So I'm a drooling fangirl. ~shrugs~ Everyone has their Katelynn moments.

What are you afraid of?
Watching the only person I have left die. And watching him die hating me. Which wouldn't be all that surprising, considering. Myself, a little. What I know I can do. What I know I remember. Dammit, why do I get myself started on this?

Denial. If I don't think about things, they didn't happen and if they didn't happen I don't have to think about them and then I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night screaming.
When did you cry most recently?
I was fourteen. Gave up on crying. It was taking up too much of my life.
What was the worst pain you've experienced?
Someone who I cared about—really cared about—died. And I never got to tell him how sorry I was. Never got to tell him much of anything, really. Deus, how people can be this honest with themselves...

I suppose the fight that gave me the scar on my back is the worst. Funny though, there's this one punch that I remember hurting so much more.

So, to celebrate the last Saturday of summer, K-chan and I went out to play DDR. The verdict? I am addict. There goes my money for the rest of the year.
Then there were iced caps.
Then there was Kingdom Hearts, and OH MY GOD I BEAT THE GAME. And it was... wow. That's the best game ending I've ever seen. And the sequal previews in Sept. If you haven't played it and you've got the platform, you should really take the time, as that game rocked hard. Riku needs to be ravished. Cid is my hero. I hate Sepphy-chan.

Hm... where to start? The three lines on my shoulder are there on purpose, the one that runs from my left shoulder blade to the front of my thigh is the result of a stupid mistake, the one on my neck is from... ~falters~ There are some fainter ones on my hands and knees. I jumped out a window on a dare when I was younger. And the other stuff on my back and arms, well I don't remember the specifics.

So. Home. Watched a crazy German movie called Enlightenment Guaranteed, which was a lot of fun. Also played Kingdom Hearts for two hours(!) I now have the ultima weapon. Oh yes. I rock.
So the rest of the trip was brilliant. Spent far too much money at Warp 1. But I now have the director's cut of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Which is such a fun/funny/sick/twisted mindfuck. So, the Edmonton trip goes on [presently in an internet cafe]. I have clothes and sheet music and a book and a really cool play called 'Underwear'. But most importantly: I have then newest 2 X/1999 manga. Whoo! Kakyou=hot. Subaru=hotter. Andrea=hopeless fangirl.
So what have I done? I have shopped. I have read manga (and squealed like a little girl). I have used a jacuzzi (in my hotel room!). I have seen The Mtrix: Reloaded on an IMAX. I have been major tripped out by said IMAX.
