alright, i got bored of studying....it's been a little faster than i thought....so i'm trying to catch up on d/l anime....kinda like studying while i wait....where's loki!!!!!!! it;s been so long since i had my ragnarok fix....ep 4 is taking forever! boo!
 also, tried to chubbify my boys...just for you fan since you thought they were too skinny...doudai? still too skinny? why do all my people look to the left? cuz i'm not confident yet to deviate from what comes easiest =p kid profiles will be my bane i think =p
ok....back to studying again....i'm so lazy...i think i'll study at the library in about an 30 min when the buses start running =p

first, my east asian lang and cult minor is official.....after 3 years i finally declared my major AND minor in my senior year....i guess i was always scared that once things are declared, i can't go back....no more animation possibilities, no more thoughts on classics....i have too many little interests....never 100% interested in anything....so apathetic...now i have a 5th year to finish off my boring major and hopefully find something more fullfilling outside the academic arena =p
second...watched the last ep of manor house (only6 eps apparently)....got me slightly teary eyed =p those brits know how to pull those heart strings =p....but i have to say, the footmen's uniforms are MMmmm =p maybe i'll draw what it looks like =p so "utenish" =p i'm a sucker for gloves...fav words from that show:

third, my roommate went home (bay area) for the rest of the week....supposed jury duty...so she left me her car.....shall i run off to book off again? or perhaps be more healthy and go grocery shopping....i can be REALLY reckless and go back home and surprise my parents and her =p *goes to plan evil things*
ok back, and fourth, japanese midterm tomorrow so i'm going to nap now until, oh....about 1ish? and then study like a mofo....also have to read so i can write an essay due friday....in the middle of this cram session i'll probably stick the new layout image up....sorry fan, i'm using the one i intended for my first pitas layout =p

i don't know what to think of this email from my math prof:

I've come down with a flu, and so I am cancelling class (MATH113) on
wednesday (tomorrow). I'm going to shift our schedule accordingly, so we
will work through the review sheet on friday, and the midterm will be on
monday.
happy cuz midterm delayed....sad i rushedly did my hw this evening cuz i forgot....happy cuz i DID finish it....sad that i have to waste my weekend on 2 math midterms next week now....happy i GET another weekend...eh so i dunno....i feel sorry for him for catching the flu though....
so, being somewhat happy, i decided to test my hand at little kids....i know i said i'd try out landscapes next, fan, but that's too hard and i'm not creative nor dedicated and patient enough to draw all that long....kids are hard for me, but think i figured it out....dot nose, thin-like lips, big head and eyes, short jaw dealie....that's my conclusion =p...i seem think of drawing with a scientific approach =p
i'm kinda anxious for the month to be over so i can change layouts and change calandars picts =p....like i said, i get bored fast and now i wanna change my layout =p....i also wanna change my cell phone =p..i hate that it's so small....
oh, i think i lost my fanime card thing....i'm sure i can get in w/o it though...but just thinking i'm stupid =p...i should put it somewhere semi-safe =p

i've found a replacement for American Idol (yes! i watch it! how come everybody gets so shocked! i, above all else, LOVE TV)...my interest in AI has been exponentially dwindling in the 2nd season....BUT! my replacement is the british reality based show, Manor House....mostly cuz i swoon at the accents =p....i love british accents =p....i found my tainted mind thinking dirty things about the footmen...i SWEAR though! if i could u/l video, i'd show you a clip where it looked like one footman slapped/"yanked"/"touched" the hall boy(actually not a boy..18yrs).....and the second footman's duty is to tend to the little10yr old boy of the house "Master Guy"...for shota fans, the 2nd footman's duty includes waking the boy up and to "wash and dress" him....achem, anyway......the kid's getting spoiled quickly...getting a little TOO used to the high life i think....oh yeah! the 2nd footman cleans the poop in the house!! ahaha....for the ladies....not too interesting cuz NONE OF THEM CAN CUT IT! they went through 2 scullery maids already! anyway, the show is fantastic so anyone who has it programmed on their public broadcasting channel might want to check it out....did i mention i LOVE their accents!!!
in other news, i finally applied, after much apprehension, for the east asian language minor (re japanese)...it's basically 70% completed, hopefully i'm not too over my unit cap that they'd reject me =pi got department approval but i think i need school approval...we'll see how it goes....
alright, time for studying for those banes of my existence: tests.

i figured out what was wirng but i'm still confused as to why it worked in the beginning....and also how did you get to it fan??
the problem was that the argument that the script takes in to generate the php code was my entry title, meaning it was a bunch of letters and spaces and a couple dot dot dots (...)...i suspected this kind of word formatted argument might be troublesome....but since it worked the first time, i didn't think it mattered....and also since it was encased in single quotes... ' '...i thought it was safe since the single quotes would take the whole thing as a string...anyway...so in my desparation i resorted to troubleshooting by using just numbers, and problem solved=p
so now my blog is fully equipped with tagboard and commentary =p

i needed an excuse to not do my math hw....i forgot how to taylor expand and it was quite frustrating....so i drew this for mochi to cheer her up:
it's a nerdy picture but i'm an a dorky mood...
unfortunately i'm NOT working on the battle royale manga =( they keep sticking me with clamp stuff....i wanted to do FLCL but i got CCS instead....not that i have anything against it, i just don't like being part of the CLAMP butchering process....i don't agree with tokyopop but i'm a whore for money =p...i'll see what i can do about getting a free copy in general =p that link was to the battle royale sequel =p

ok, so long day with miki and tim....from about 12 to 2am (originally intended at 10am??) but was super fun =) it was like and all day Torrance event
like i said, we went to book off in gardena, and i DID show some restraint...only cuz i was too stupid to bring a list...so i ended up not knowing what i was looking for =p...in the end i bought the 2 rayearth artbooks ($10 each) and the 2 vol. record of lodoss wars: the lady of pharis ($5 each).....
before that we went to have lunch at shin-sen-gumi....so GOOD! they're known for their hakata ramen...and they yell at you =p...no, not really YELL but get real excited about their okyakusan coming in and leaving =p...a little scary but cute i guess =p
and finally i went karaoke! i didn't sing personally, but previously i was always shunned for not wanting to sing so i was never "allowed" to come...kinda the school of thought that "if you laugh at everyone sing, it's not fair that we can't laugh at you"...but i DON'T laugh at people singing!! i just want to experience it, and that i did =) it was really fun! tim is hilariously exaggerated and miki is SOOOOOO good!! i never knew =) also, i met tim's korean crew =p (incidentally, tim is white =p)....i thought it was cute =p must be nice to hang around with HS friends all silly like....oh, and among them was mbp who runs NPASR. funny since i just linked her and you like her site alot =p. nice people =p i may have scared them with my long gripe about my former roommate though....oh, i remember the days of the many long gripes i posted....i think that's what began me blogging cuz i needed a place to release all the anger =p
anyway, after karaoke, we went to some bowling alley just to play DDR extreme and tim's friend was sooooooo GOOD! he did t he 2 pad playing deal and got 276 or something bonus/perfect...i don't what the deal is with DDR scoring since i don't do it...but yeah, mightily impressed =p
after that just hung around at random places and i had to go home so i could do hw today (program due tomorrow after all) so, i felt bad i had to end the party cuz tim and miki were my ride....sorry! but very fun...it's been a long time =p

in other news, the reason why i'm up so early is cuz i get to go to book off!! finally! miki and tim are bringing me....i looked at the mapquest directions and man, it's only 19 min away....disregarding LA traffic....but gosh, so close yet so far cuz me and my stupid vehicleless existence =p oh well, yay for now....untill i lose all i earned this week in 2 min =p...neigh, i shall show restraint =p much restraint i shall show!! walking from class and i notice a tokyopop booth!! shall i defile it with fecal matter excreted from the anus of a homosapien?....ok, i admit that was very mean and snooty....the booth is shared with DC, Archie, and Dark Horse so tokyopop got lucky since i don't have beef with the other 3...i bet they knew i would exact some sort of revenge if they invaded my territory so the evoked the "safety in numbers" rule =p

well, as always i have this weird hang time where i have nothing to do from 10-11am...i don't want to show my face at work yet....lest they put me to work =p...and i usu have nothing to do for hw...so here i am in the library lab =p
the campus is officially looking like a circus...i feel like i'm in clown college and people should be cartwheeling to class...the LA Times Festival of Books is, as always, invading campus...my first 2 years, i went, but i missed last year, since i didn't live on campus...what usually follows the week after the festival is a pungent smell of manure...yes, you don't see THAT in the LA Times now, do you? Because all the tents are erected on the nice grassy areas on campus, the grass gets awfully trampled and bald during the fest...so after the tents are taken down, the campus gardeners fertilize EVERYTHING so the grass and grow all nice and pretty...however, i think this is a bad idea since it's campus tours season and potential students and their parents will think UCLA is a cattle range =p....smells just like that stretch on the 5 when i go home...kettlemen? or something? geh...
just surfing the net as usual and i came across my old, and only, article i wrote for akadot. i won't link it cuz its embarrasing....math majors english no necessary yeah?...you can look for it though =p i wrote in may 2002...i think it's the only may post in the article section =p...they were having a slow couple of months =p anyway, i hope i see michelle and kim again this year...they remembered me at AX! i felt so honored =p they have such cute cosplay too =p...i hope their college stuff isn't getting in the way though =p
oh well, almost time for class...maybe i'll eat an early lunch =p

i feel odd..i know what i must do, ie math hw, but since the TA said we can turn it in mon in her box, i don't want to do it....but then i SHOULD do it so i can study for midterms =p....but then i have to go to the computer lab to program it (i don't have MATLAB, nor do i want it =p)....but then.....but then....and so on =p

new ep of friends today was ok...better than the crap they usu excrete these days....hey fan! they mentioned Cornell!! for being the "worst" ivy league, you sure do have a lot of clout in the entertainment industry =p...real world road rules....now a ref in friends and all that =p...still can't believe you turned down stanford....i'm gonna dwell on that for a while now....i hope you, mochi, tokki, and gdawg don't spoil you, my innocent little sister....younger by 2 minutes but still younger!! =p....they've tainted me!! TAINTED ME!...but i like it *licks lips*......(see? tainted tails)
anyway, getting excited to go to NY to see you in your cap and gown....see? i'm excited about that =p

ohohoh! tiffany quit urban vision!! after 2 years or so?? i remember the days when we both griped about our respective companies raping us, poor, college students =p....she's got a job offer in San Jose at a wushu related biz! Go her! i always encourage people going to the bay area =p....she's so busy wushuing but man! she won a lot of awards!...i'd hate to get in her way....
oh, i have to remember to tape helen of troy on sunday...i nearly forgot...
alright...now back to my nbc night =p...sorry boring these days though...oh! it's my friend, alice's birthday today! 23! if anyone is in the West Los Angeles area friday night, go see her sing at cafe balcony.....they have the best iced mint tea latte!

also i put in some of the links to other blogs i look at...i lurk around a lot =p....but these people are so furiously talented....some, for being as young as they are, they can certainly extract a computer's full potential like no other =p puts me to shame....but man i love to be shamed...that's sounds dirty =p....
hmmm....so i dunno what else i should do, layout wise....i guess i'll keep sprucing up the links whenever something comes up =p
oh and like i said, i've been obsessing over ragnarok for the last few weeks or so and lovely jen put up the OP theme!! i likey lots =p.....it's funny to see my math notebook cuz there are a lot of little loki-samas in the borders....man my combinatorics prof is so....well, there's no way to euphemize it...he's just plain bad....i'll just read the book.....i guess he's funny at least though =p

i put a tag board instead of some commentary type cuz i was too lazy...it being 4am =p....and i figured this way you guys can talk to each other too =p....but i don't think i get to save entries...i'll read the instructionas again later =p
so, as you can tell it's not all complete....it being 4am =p....i know i said it already, it was for emphasis =p i'm going to doddle around continuously until i have it all generic enough so that i can just change little things when i change layouts...
i'll have my old blog page redirect it to here maybe over the weekend and figure out what to do with my old page =p other than that, i'll update this one from now on...
