Rising star Angelica Panganiban makes a triumphant return to Maalaala Mo Kaya this Thursday, April 7, when she plays the role of Marissa, a real-life Amerasian woman still in search of her biological mother, in this episode directed by acclaimed director Joel Lamangan from a script by Ayi Tamayo. This episode explores the life of Marissa, who, despite being adopted by a loving foster mother (Jacklyn Jose), still longs to reunite with her birth mother. Her longing intensifies after she is maltreated by her foster father (Mike Magat) and molested by one of their neighbors. Hurt, she leaves her foster mother’s home and begins her search for her birth mother. Unfortunately, she only has dim childhood memories to help her, and her mother’s name: Rufina Canoy. And so Marissa runs away from home and begins to forge her own destiny, which eventually includes a relationship with beautiful nightclub singer Rochelle (Dimples Romana). But when Rochelle gets a job offer in Japan, can Marissa become a surrogate mother for Rochelle’s daughter Lorie (Kristel Fulgar)? Anyong from Seoul! How are you? Hope you're doing OK upon receiving this letter. It's already spring time here in Korea...

It's so sad that the Pope had died, but we need not worry as another one will come soon.

Ah, yes, here's the picture taken from one of our tapings in "Save the Last Dance for Me". On-cam, Eugene (as Eun-soo/Sandy) is the one who treats Ji Sung (as Hyun Woo or Chang Ho/Francis or Adrian) for a meal. But that's the opposite when we're off cam!

Anyway, we learned a lot from Last Dance. And we were able to display our best in acting for this drama series. And how the public here in Korea rewarded us: Last Dance was extended, as many people fell in love not just with us, but with the story as well.

We learned from ABS-CBN, the biggest network in the Philippines which airs SBS Korean series from time to time, that we have legions of fans out there! Last Dance has been rewarded with so many viewers every night on primetime! We heard that Last Dance was transferred to so many timeslots on primetime, but nevertheless we are relieved to see more and more viewers following the show, regardless of the time slot. Truly, we were overwhelmed with such a big following. And we really thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our series, now the number 1 Korean drama there in Manila and the entire Philippines. Hope we can visit there to see you, and also to see how beautiful the Philippines is.

Please keep on watching Last Dance, as we heard that today is the start of the final week for this. Sure, Francis/Adrian and Sandy are back in each other's arms, but something bad will happen. But in the end, we will still be together! Why? Secret! Ha-ha-ha-ha!
