Mood: Mmm...Starbucks caramel cider...
Music: Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight

So uh...I had a dentist appointment yesterday. Once I found out, I froze in fear. Don't get me wrong...I actually kinda like dentist appointments, because I walk out with this neat "Heh...I've got clean teeth" feeling. But this time I froze like a deer in headlights. Why? Because I've got a cold. That means I've been coughing like a mofo. So I had this mental image going in my head where the dentist would be digging through my mouth with all those little tools. Suddenly my diaphragm would convulse. My trachea would give a forceful push of air, I'd give a hacking cough, and the multitudes of tools would fly out of my mouth and wreak all havoc. I'd be like Godzilla, just that I'd fire crazy dental tools instead of laser beams!! DEAR GOD!!

But uh...no such thing happened. :P The appointment went fine, other than the fact that I've got a cavity all the way in the back of my mouth. ARGH. I take good care of my teeth, dammit! *sob* Anywho, I'll have to go back to the dentist in a month or so...hopefully my cough will be gone by then so I won't have to worry about metal objects shooting out of my mouth. :P

Deran leaves for HK tomorrow morning. :( But he'll be back Jan 4th! He might be able to eat plenty of good food in HK, but *I* get to eat my mom's kickass cooking. :D Meh...who am I kidding....traveling always kicks ass. Have a great trip, Deran! :)

Music: The Beatles - Free As a Bird

I'm home!! I feel like I should put on some war paint, run outside to my front yard and scream "FREEEEEDOM!!!!"

But uh...I won't. :)

Anywho...I think school totally KO'ed me this semester, but it's all over, and that's all that really matters to me right now. And since I have nothing to blog about, I'll leave you guys with this:

Now THIS is how Super Mario Bros. 3 should be played. Total pwnage. :D

[EDIT]: *Sob*...it's fake!! *Sigh*...just when I thought there was something cooler than ice cold out there. Read here. *Sigh*...it's still cool to watch, though. :)

You know what makes for a great study break? Burying yourself in a pile of laundry fresh from the dryer. :)

Mood: Frustrated!!
Music: Phantom Planet - Lonely Day

In statistics, we've covered 21 chapters this semester. TWENTY-FREAKIN'-ONE. Good lord. Anywho...I was studying for my stat final, and when I hit chapter 11, I see this little notice at the bottom of the page (written WORD FOR WORD):

*This more advanced chapter gives more detail about probability. It is not needed to read the rest of the book.

.....

YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME.

My professor covered TEN chapters more than necessary?!?!? What is WRONG with this woman?!?! !@#$%^....

*ahem*...back to studying. *grumble*

[EDIT]: Ok, so Deran (and Dram) pointed out that it means that we didn't need to know that one particular chapter, not the rest of the book. That notice shows up in one other chapter, though...which means that my prof taught TWO extra chapters that we didn't need to know, not ten. Blargh.

Mood: Confused...woe is me
Music: Bryan Adams - Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman

Ok ok. So just about everyone and their mother has a xanga these days. Damn xanga and their massive empire. Anywho, so I'm here in my little corner of pitas.com, minding my own business, before I get not one, but TWO marriage proposals from xangaland. One from cowboybone and another from Dramamine Boy. Le sigh...what's a girl to do?!?! On the other hand, should I accept either one of these proposals, I could create a VERY important internet alliance! Xanga.com and pitas.com would join in a beautiful union!! IT'S TOTALLY UNHEARD OF!!!

*ahem*...so anywho, before I get TOO excited about this mad-crazy-blog-service-alliance, I have to choose one of these two guys. Sooo...this is where I lament my sorrows and weigh out the options. On with the show!

Soooo....Mr. Dramamine Boy, huh? The Californian. The 80's worshipper. The ancient one. He states his case for why I should choose him here. He does make a good point that unlike Canadian cassanova cowboybone, our children will never say "what was that all aboot?". However, whether or not he'll put stupid hats on our kids, he's a freakin' 80's worshipper. Which means our kids will probably end up with huge hair, sweatsocks, hideously bright pink lipstick, and slap bracelets. And honestly, I think that's astronomically worse than one dumb hat. Soo...points are being docked off for that. Another issue....I can't tell if he's 80 or 8 years old!! Telling from his entries, he seems to be born before the dinosaurs....on the other hand, the pictures he posts makes me feel like I'm gonna end up with some dude with Gary Coleman-like complex. So uh...I think I need to do more research there. And yes, "Dramamine Girl" does sound better than "cowgirlbone". Eeesh..."cowgirlbone"...that just doesn't roll off the tongue as easily. Anywho, other than that, he looks quite eligible. :)

Now cowboybone...the Canuck. The master of the pen. Now, if I choose cowboybone, not only will there be an alliance between xanga.com and pitas.com, it'll be an alliance between the USA and Canada!!! It'd be the greatest event since the Dramamineboy/cowboybone blog switcharound thingie!! *Sigh*....oh how two allies can have their relationship go sour over a woman. So anywho, that's a perk if I choose cowboybone. On the other hand....HE'S CANADIAN!! How am I gonna deal with THAT?!?! I mean, what am I gonna do with Canadian citizenship? Tell everyone that I get to eat moose for dinner every night? And god forbid if my children were to end their alphabet with the letter "zed"...what kinda alphabet is that?!?! You don't go to the grocery store, grab a can of alphabet soup and find a freakin' letter "Zed" in your spoon. Not that I have a problem with Canadians or anything. :) On the other hand, unlike Dram, I can rest assured that he doesn't have a Gary Coleman complex. And I know that Ahhhnold Schwarzenegger won't try to destroy my home just because my spouse ran against him in the California gubernatorial election. And by order of events, cowboybone DID propose first. So he almost has dibs. ALMOST. Ok, not quite. :P

*Sigh*...where shalt my heart lead me? It's quite a problem. Anywho, so I've got two men vying for my heart....but uh..a girl's gotta study for finals. Sooo...these two suckas are gonna have to wait until finals are over before I decide...NYAH.
