Oh yes....and more retaliation for the whole banana fiasco. Just for the record: I happen to peel my bananas from the non-stem end. Deran thinks this is the weirdest thing in the world and he can't keep a straight face whenever he sees me peel a banana. However, Deran here eats roast beef sandwiches with cheese and GRAPE JELLY.
Deran: *sits down at table*
Me: *glances at purple stuff smeared on the paper that his sandwich is wrapped in*
Me: Is that...
Deran: Grape jelly? Yeah.
Me: >_O
Everyone else: *babbles over WHY IN THE WORLD anyone would put grape jelly on a roast beef sandwich*
Wahaha, I think that grape jelly on a roast beef sandwich is way more out of whack that peeling a banana from the non-stem end:

W00t! Guess who saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets last night?? It was crazy....there was this HUGE line trailing outside of the theater for people waiting to see Harry Potter on opening night. The movie was good, but the book's always better than the movie. And I'd like to say that John Williams is a genius. I swear that guy can make a kickass soundtrack for ANY movie possible....and Harry Potter is no exception. ^_^ Anywho....I was pretty disappointed with Ron's howler...it didn't seem nearly as overwhelming or loud as it should have been in the book....and Julie pointed out that it didn't even blow up like it was supposed to. It just tore itself up....sheesh. -_- And I coulda sworn that the spell "expelliarmus" is supposed to disarm the opponent, and not throw him across the room? Tim pointed out that in the wizard duel scene, every spell that Harry or Draco cast seemed to throw the other person across the floor...bleh. There were various other parts that didn't exactly fit with the book, but I'm not going to get too picky. One of the greatest parts of the movie: OLIVER WOOD!! Haha, gotta love everyone's favorite Quidditch captain....too bad he'll be gone after the 3rd movie....*sniff*
Oh, and many many thanks for the Milano cookies, Steph!! I am forever in your debt. :P
But anywho....this weekend has been very....unproductive. *nervous laugh* Yesterday I took a nap after I came back from class. Then I took a trip to Tiffany's Treats, Eckerd, and the Gap with Marsha and Deran. Then we bummed around in Colin's room for a while....well, I bummed around....everyone else was watching the Maverick's game. :P THEN I went to see the Harry Potter showing at 10 pm, and that didn't end until around 1 am. At any rate, I haven't done jack today either. And I've got a bio exam on Tuesday. I guess Sunday and Monday will have to be my study days for that.....blargh. It sucks that I have to work for my A's.....why can't I be one of those smartasses that can cram 30 mins before a test and pull a near-perfect score? Sheesh....*grumble*
Hmmm....oh yes....I bought this amazing ice cream the day before....Ben and Jerry's again, of course. ^_^ It's called Fudge Central....it has a fudge truffle core with one half of it surrounded by vanilla ice cream with dark chocolate chips, and the other half surrounded by chocolate ice cream with white chocolate chips.....and holy crap that stuff is amazingly good....but it still gives you sixty-friggin'-two percent of your daily saturated fat intake!! ;_; Gahhhhh....I swear Ben and Jerry's ice cream will be the end of me....but what an end it would be....bwahahaha. XD

Bleh....my roomie Van got another letter! Lucky girl....no one ever writes me. :P I love writing
letters...it's fun, and it makes other people feel good when they receive them. ^_^ People never seem to respond, though. :-/ Bleh....hehe, oh well.
But anywho.....ARGH....I missed a question on my chem quiz today!! So that means that I'll have to ace everything else that comes up in chem....meaning 2 quizzes and an exam. If I turn in some extra credit, I'll have leeway for missing ONE question on the exam. There's a slim chance that I'll be exempt, but I'm still going to shoot for it....and if I don't end up being exempt, at least I'll be pretty well prepared for the final. At any rate, I'm gonna get crackin' with my chem work.

*Niko niko niko*....my little stuffed tare panda's level of cuteness just increased by 357%!!! Hehe, I gave it a bath today and tossed it in the dryer, and now it's all clean and soft. *nuzzles tare panda plushie* ^_^
Haha, and yes, I couldn't agree more when Steph says that the weather has been perfect for walks. ^_^ Wahahaha, don't worry, I'm sure you'll find company soon enough! ^_~
But anywho.....even though this is supposed to be my hardcore-study-for-chem-week, life has been good. ^_^ Either that or maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better about the fact that I've got an extremely slim chance of being exempt for the final. ^ ^;; Haha, nahhh....life's been good....I hope it stays this way for a while. ^_^

Wow....I had a great night. ^_^ Tonight a whole bunch of us went to Jon Koh's apartment to eat possibly the greatest meal I've had all year. We had a Chinese/Korean feast.....complete with the following: bulkoki, kimchee, green onion pie, rice cakes, rice cake soup, dumplings, dried seaweed (to wrap our rice in), gai-lan, lo mein, and of course, plenty of rice. Thanks to everyone who cooked tonight!! ^_^
But anywho...oh yes, our dorky fobby peace sign duo has just turned into a trio. Well, the third part of us still needs some work, but I'm sure he'll catch on soon enough. XD So Marsha and I already have our "ACHOO!" and "YATTA!" Deran happens to be in the Plan II program. And that fobby peace sign could also be like two fingers held up for the number two. So his cry is "PLAN II!"...but he's still a little slow with the verbal exchange:
Marsha: ACHOO!
Me: YATTA!
Deran: ...
Me and Marsha: *stares at Deran...waits for response*
Deran: O_o?
Me and Marsha: *staaaaare....*

Anywho.....it's a gorgeous night. ^_^ The temperature's perfect, and there isn't a cloud in sky....you can see all the stars. *niko* It'd be perfect for a walk....if only it weren't past 2 am right now. ^ ^;; *Sigh*.....oh well...another night...another night. ^_^
At any rate....I should be getting back to my history paper...I'm still behind on it, and I know that going to Jon's apartment tonight wasn't the most productive thing to do, but I don't regret it one bit. I had great food, I had a great time, and that makes it all worth it. ^_^

Wow.....I had a tiring day, but it was a lot of fun. ^_^ VSA date auction was pretty fun....and of course, Gee Lee kicked ass! XD The auction was pretty cool....well, it was cool up to the point that the date auction became more of a strip show than a date auction. ^ ^;; People would encourage the auctionees to strip down to get higher bids...the first time around it was just out of fun, but after a while it got old. -_- Anywho.....one highlight is that it was cool to see everyone dressed up. I was particularly amused by the fact that Joe and Yi Lin had almost identical outfits...if Joe had taken Deran's tie, he would have matched with Yi Lin in every way. XD
Oh yes....and I've got a new found dislike for glitter. -_- My dress had some glitter on it....so everywhere I went, I left a trail of glitter....it got in my hair, on my hands, on my face, on my arms, etc etc. I felt like a snail....just that instead of leaving a trail of slime everywhere, I left a trail of glitter. And I'm sure I would've shriveled up if anyone dumped salt on me. :P
Anywho, so after the date auction, we all headed to Kerbey Lane for some food.....I had some kick ass chicken tortilla soup....and Marsha ordered this amazing queso.....I know I wouldn't mind going to Kerbey Lane again in the future. ^_^
At any rate....I'm still hungry....bleh. And it's kinda lonely here too.....my roomie's out....so it's just me and my laptop....*sigh*.
*Blink blink*....eeep....I've still got my contacts in. Time to pop them out.

Gahhhhh......I hate being a freshman at registration time. -_- There's 2 classes that I just flat out didn't sign up for, because they were all filled. AND, the only physics lab that was available for me is the one that's from 8-10 pm. I don't want to be doing a physics lab at 10 pm!!! ;_; Bleh...I ended up registering with only 9 credit hours.....that's definitely going to change when add-drop rolls around....blah.
But anywho....wahahahaha.....the comment that Marsha posted yesterday reminded me to blog about just how dorky we are. XD So Marsha and I have been tagged with the catch phrases "ACHOO!" and "YATTA!", respectively. How Marsha's came about is that her last name is Ungchusri, and when we all asked how it was pronounced, she'd emphasize the "chu" part in her name. Ung-CHU-sri. It's like you sneeze out her last name or something. Soooo....hence her catch phrase "ACHOO!". Mine came about when everyone said that I look like an anime character....so to humor everyone, I gave one of those fobby peace signs, and in a very Chun Li way, said "Yatta!". And it stuck. :P So now whenever we see each other, we give a fobby peace sign, she'll say "ACHOO!", and I'll say "YATTA!".....call it a verbal exchange between two dorks. :P Alrighty, moving on here.
So at the TASA meeting, we got our T-shirts, which show a cartoony longhorn giving one of those fobby peace signs, with the caption "AI-YAH! TAH-SAH!" at the bottom.
Marsha: Hey! We should write "ACHOO!" and "YATTA!" on our shirts!! (referring to the fact that the lil' cartoon longhorn on the shirts is giving one of those fobby peace signs)
Me: Hey....yeah!! *lifts up shirt* Well....it kinda says "YATTA!" on there...
Joe: *puzzled look* How??
Me: Uhh....oh, look! *points to caption* "AI-YAH! TAH-SAH!"
Everyone else: O_o;;

Wow....remember that bio test that I studied all day for and forgot to eat dinner? Remember how I knew that I couldn't make an A, but at least I wouldn't fail miserably? I just proved myself wrong.
We got our exams back today....
AND I MADE AN A!!!!! Haha, a very low A, mind you, but an A nonetheless!! W00t!! Let's just hope that I'll have this kind of luck within the next few weeks in chemistry....*crosses fingers*
But anywho...I'm hungry. But my stomach hurts. >_< So I'm hungry....but I don't want to eat because I don't want to make myself feel worse. Gahhhhhh!! What's a girl to do?? Blah....screw it. *munches on Chips Ahoy*
Anywho....I plan on doing a lot of work this week....gotta get most of my work done before that VSA Date Auction on Friday. And you'd better be happy, Gee Lee....I bought a dress for you, I'm borrowing shoes for you, and I'm going to try to finish my homework for you.....sheesh, and I'm not the one that's being auctioned off, nor am I bidding on you!!! You owe me...big time. :P
Lessee....oh yes....Steph and I did something terrible today....we skipped philosophy. I sat down next to her, and we were grumbling about how class is a waste of time and that we never really get the hang of things until our discussion sessions on Friday (with our kickass TA Beth....yay Beth!)....so we just got up and walked out. We headed towards my room, and we decided that if we weren't going to be in class, we might as well take the time to learn the stuff on our own.....so we wouldn't be TOTALLY bumming around, since we're still making the effort to learn. Let's just say it was a way of letting us not feel so bad about skipping class. :P ANYwho...although we had good intents, instead of trying to learn philosophy, we ended up doing the following:
1) Looking at my dress (while I vehemently refused her request to put it on....sheesh)
2) Arguing AGAIN over whether or not I should return my dress
3) Chatting about random stuff in general
Haha....it was totally unproductive, but at least it was fun. But I think we'll be good little girls from now on and just stay in class. :P

Oy.....ok, here's the situation. My chemistry professor offers 2 grading options. You can either:
1) Do really well throughout the semester and be exempt from the final
Or 2) If you don't do too well throughout the semester, you can try to do a kickass job on the final, and he'll take your grade on the final as your grade for the semester
At any rate, I really want to be exempt for my chem final, because then I won't have to take 2 finals in one day. (I've got my bio and my chem final on the same day....yuck) So anywho....I've got a VERY narrow chance at being exempt for the final right now. I have to make a perfect score on the next 3 quizzes, and I have to miss AT MOST 1 question on my upcoming exam. So here's the question: should I go hardcore and try for exemption, or should I just give up on that and try to do really well on the final?

Lessee.....I watched God of Cookery in its entirety for the first time....man that was freakin' hilarious. XD It was like Iron Chef on steroids!! It just doesn't get any better than that! XD
Holy crap, I played Set for almost 3 hours straight....it was crazy....and insanely fun. I've never played Set with six people before....it actually gets a little violent when two people simultaneously find a set:
