Hey all, Christmas is over and New Year's is comming and things have been going well. Unfortunately I'm off at home and don't have as much access to the internet so I haven't been able to blog in a while. Anyways Christmas was good, I got lots o' money and several DVDs. Twas good. I also ended up with a letter opener replica of Excalibur. Tis neat. Anyways shall blog more later, must play Star Wars d20 now with friends. 10th level Dark Side campain session. Should be fun and will help prepare me for my return to Eugene and a hopeful Star Wars campain there.

Dude, today was cool. I saw Star Trek Nemesis today, it was very cool. That has got to be the most action packed Star Trek movie I've seen to date. It definately lived up to it's even numbered status.
After that I went to the Castle of Swords in the mall and checked out some of their stuff. The guy there let me hold a replica of Aragorn's Sword from Lord of the Rings. It was cool. I even came away with a spiffy looking dagger. Now if only I had a place to put it. Oh well, it looks cool.
Ok well that's all that's exciting in my life for now.

Damn it, why does life have to be so complicated? So far in the past few months life has kicked me down and laughed at me maniacally. Then it half assed picked me up but decided that it would be better for me to be down so it droped me and then kicked me for good measure. I don't think it's possible for me to be in a lower state of existence right now than I already am. I hit bottom and then someone threw me a shovel and told me to dig deeper. I really wish that every good thing that happened to me lately wasn't counteracted by something bad and ten times worse. Needless to say life sucks!

Dude, this last weekend has been awesome. First on Saturday I managed to get a 133 combo in Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix on a song called Bumble Bee (3 footer). It was sweet, I've never done that well before.
After that was the evening festivities of my birthday party. Needless to say we all got drunk. (I turned 21 at midnight on Saturday evening/Sunday morning). We were playing Loaded Questions too which made the evening all the more fun. We attempted to play again but at that point we were all so smashed that we couldn't concentrate very much on it. That was the point when friend Meriel (who kept claiming she wasn't drunk) lost her lunch on our carpet. Ok so that part wasn't as fun and that was when the party ended but it was amusing watching Paul clean it up while giggling like a school girl. That was funny. All in all it was a fun evening though. Apparently Sam (who was in her room playing Ragnarok Online all night) was getting drunk too and was giving stuff out to everyone she met in the game. Twas fun times though. However I'm not getting that drunk again when Pauls B-Day comes around next week.

To quote Fighter from 8-Bit Theater: "Blarg I'm dead." Or at least that's how I feel. I've been in studio for the past three days without taking much of a break. Saturday I was here from 9 am to 2 am, Sunday I was here from 10 am to 2 am, today I got here at 10 am and I'm still here. Almost at 12 hours solid (except for a brief break for lunch and dinner). Needless to say I'm tired of being here, but I'm stuck here until Thursday. Then I can take a break, sort of. I don't have to do studio work at least so it's somewhat of a break. Although at this point in time I really wish I had one extra day to get stuff done in. There's too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Man I hate this time of the term.

Ah yes, Thanksgiving has come an gone. And you know what that means? Well yes it does mean that it's time to spend all of my money on things for other people, however it also means that I have to finish my final presentation for Architecture in only a few days time. Yep, I'm not getting any sleep anytime soon. You would not believe how long it takes ink to dry on mylar (a special type of paper). It takes 20 minutes for a line to dry to the point where you're not in enough danger to completely screw it up by touching it, but it takes at least 30 minutes to dry completely to the point where you can run your hand over it and not smudge it. *sigh* This takes too long.
On the plus side I got good food this weekend. And now I have good leftovers. Something I can actually eat, which is good because we don't have any food at my place. We haven't been shopping because we're all out of money and we only have 2 maybe 3 weeks left before we all leave for 3 to 4 weeks for break.
Wow, I think I blog on my other blog more than this one. How sad is that. Actually it's probably because I have people to talk to there, where as here no one really reads this, it's just kinda here for me to rant on. Kinda a good way to keep a diary of sorts so I know what I was up too in college. I just know I'm going to look back on this some day and laugh.

Ok, I have to share this with people. I discovered the picture posted one day in studio and thought it was really funny, so I went searching for it and look what I found:

Most of you out there should find it very amusing.

Yeah ok so I haven't posted in a while. What can I say, I have a lot of school work now. So I'm probably not going to post again until december because that's when my school work will be done. However if I get bored in studio and need a break I may post anyways because I'm bored. Who knows, stranger things have happened.

Dini's Discovery of the Day: Stairs are a very powerful organizational element.
So last night was Halloween night and for once I actually had fun. Granted I didn't get to go to any parties or anything, but I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the EMU Ballroom this year. I didn't go last year because of what had happened to me the year before when I went alone. I promised myself that I wouldn't go alone again this year (and really I was only contemplating going early on because Paul had to work it) however I went alone again anyways figuring that it couldn't possibly be any worse than last time. Turnes out it was fun. I actually ran into some nice people who sat with me and shared their props with me. So over all it was cool.
After that I went home and waited for Paul and Mariel (Paul's new friend). We ended up watching Eight-Legged Freaks until 4am. Surprisingly for me having arachnophobia I wasn't all that scared of the movie. Then again it didn't help that the movie was just bad in general and waaaaaay too predictable. Oh well, it was still fun. Poor Mariel had to crash on our couch, I mean come on, it was 4 in the morning and very cold. It took a while to convince her that it was ok to sleep on our sofa. But all was well in the end.
Tonight I get to go to a party across the street. So I get to dress up in my elf self again tonight for it. It'll be fun though, I like being an elf. Tis fun.

Dude, I went to see The Ring last night with a group of friends and I'm still shaken up by it. I now understand how the guys at Penny Arcade felt after seeing it. It is an awesome movie, very well done and very creepy. Not really what I was especting either. I would definately recommend it as a must see movie.

Ok, so last night was very amusing. My roomie Paul decided to bring his girl of interest over to meet us. Paul met this girl at a party a few weeks ago and has only hung out with her on one other occasion. Now normally in our quad of 4/5 people (we have a 5th roommate, but he's actually a part of our 4th roommate as they are dating and he's only there 1/2 the time) we manage to constantly make sarcastic remarks to make the others look bad. It's part of our joking personality. We're always badmouthing each other, but it's a mutual thing so it's ok. Well for some reason last night I was in my element when it came to making Paul look bad, much to the dismay of Paul who was trying to impress this girl. On top of that Jes was being more violent than usual and took it upon herself to smack Paul at every opportunity (Jes is normally not a violent person). Fortunatly for Paul, Sam was not there to add her two cents to the "Organization for Making Paul Look Bad in Front of His New Girl Interest" or OMPLBFHNGI (this acronym means absolutely nothing by the way). Through the course of the night we completed our task of making Paul either look like a complete ass, or making him look completely incompitent. Needless to say much fun was had by all except Paul. Half way through the night his former roommate Mark came over and we all watched a movie, but Mark kept quiet for most of the night, much to Paul's joy.
So in the words of Paul who normally dishes this stuff out: "Zing!"
(Poster's note: "Zing" is the word that Paul uses everytime someone manages to get an especialy good crass comment off about someone else. This is realy funny when he's in the middle of two people making these comments back and fourth to each other as he makes the comment/noise after just about every comment. It's almost like a point award system, when you get the "zing" you get a point).

Ack, too lazy. I need to actually do some work every now and then. I'm not getting as much studio work done as I should be. *sigh* It sucks. At least I make up for it by going in on weekends and working on stuffs. Anyways moving on.
Ok, I just want to say for the reccord that for all of you out there who find this online journal from Google or some such search engine, Spasticity is a word that I thought I invented off the top of my head one day. Little did I know that it was actually some nasty disease of sorts. I'm not exactly sure what it is, only that it's not very common. I appologize for any confusion this may have caused as my version of the word "Spasticity" originally derived from the word "Spastic" and I had no idea such a word existed before.
So now that I have that out of the way I can move on to other things. Other things being what I don't know. However, I won't let this slow me down as I have the ability to rant on and on about nothing for quite a while. However I will spare you this and just stop posting now.

ARGH!!!111 Microsoft is EVIL!!! Damn them for putting something on my computer that I don't even know about and have to search for to fix. GRRRRRR!!!! Kudos to Tsua for sending me that link ^_^
Anyways, not much going on. Dropped on of my classes so I'm now down to 14 credits instead of 18. I figure after taking nothing but 18 credits a term for the past 5 terms plus a 16 credit summer term I'm about due for a break. Would rather not kill myself in classes. The deciding factor actually was the fact that I'm rather depressed at the moment and couldn't get enough reading done for that class to be able to pass it. I figured taking the "W" for withdrawl on my transcript is better than an "F." Besides I can just take it later.
