Next term should be interesting. Signed up for classes, I have class on Monday from 8 am to 3 pm and then again from 6 pm to 7 pm. Tuesday I just have the 6 to 7. Wednesday is 8 am to 1:30 pm and then the 6 to 7. Thursday is identicle to Tuesday. Friday if it goes the way it has been I won't have any class, if not, then I'll have structures from 10 am to 12 pm and then I'm done. Not bad if you don't mind class loading. Unfortunately for my I didn't really have a choice in the matter about when my classes were that I needed. So I'm looking forward to a nice, relaxing term for spring. I'll have lots of time to read my book and get my chainmail finished.
Been having problems trying to find a future roommate for next year. Meriel, who I was going to room with, had to back out because her parents told her she had to stay in the dorms for another year. Sucks for me cuz I don't really have that many options and all of them dissapeared rather quickly. So I've been scrounging the past few days to find someone to room with. Fortunatley for me tonight Spencer mentioned that he was looking for a place to stay next year and so I figured we could find a place together. I'm going to go over the specs of the place I'm looking at with him on Friday. It's nice to at least have an option now for roommate. I was going to get worried here soon.
Anyways back to studio work now.
Yeah I know, I haven't blogged much lately. Studio is picking up so I have a lot more work to do now. So I probably won't blog much for the next two weeks. The other thing is that Ragnarok Online has eaten my soul, so I play that in my spare time. (The spare time that I don't actually have.

I can definately tell I'm an architecture student today. I realized today that I needed a compass to draw some of the circles for my plan and I was excited about getting a new drawing tool. One that allows me to make big, clean circles. Yeah, im a arch geek, but oh well. I like it. Then again I also confused the heck out of a few of my friends this weekend when I started talking about the "life of the building" when refering to Lawrence Hall. I found it kinda funny actually.
Well that's all for now, I need to stop procrastinating and get some work done.
I haven't blogged in a while so I figured I would. Not much going on. Lots of studio work now. Things are picking up around here so I have a lot of work to do. Played Ultimate Frisbee this weekend. Wasn't too bad, but my leg wasn't all that happy because of the injury the prior week. I could only run at about half speed the entire time and I had to stick to the dryer side of the field. Oh well, it was still fun.

Yay, midterm hell is over. Well, almost over. My history midterm hell is over at least. I still have a structrues midterm tomorrow. Surprisingly enough I'm not really all that worried. History is just not my thing, math I get for some reason, even though I hate math. I just happen to be good at it. How does that work anyway? Be good at math but hate it at the same time? You'd think I'd be lousy at math because I hate it. Oh well I'm not all that worried at least. After tomorrow I will be free of midterms, yay!

Damn it! I hate it when this happens. So today I went out to play Ultimate Frisbee and it was raining and muddy and generally all around fun. Except for one thing, I pulled my quad muscle before we even got started. I went to catch a frisbee while warming up and sliped in the mud and pulled it. The thing is I'm more upset about the fact that I can't play than I am about the muscle. It's been almost 3 years since I've been able to play team sports and I miss it greatly. Last week was the first time in a while that I actually had the chance to play again and it was fun. So of course this week I go out to play again only to have the opportunity ripped from me. Why does life have to be so cruel sometimes?

Studio Break:
I just made a strange realization. While I was sitting here drawing the outline of my building I realized that it looks like a crop circle. No, seriously, it does. I have a circle in the center with 3 arms branching off of it and each one has weird ins and outs to it. Kinda neat actually. But it does very much look like a crop circle. Who knows if it'll stay that way though, especially after my midterm on friday.

Heh, heh, I just realized something today in studio. Ok so I have this really cool 4 foot long aluminum ruler that I use for cutting various materials apart for my presentations. Well it makes a damn good weapon too, I mean think about it, it has a really long straight edge, it doesn't need to be sharp to do damage. So it brings out a massive power trip whenever I bring it out. For some reason today the thought "my ruler is bigger than yours" came to mind. Yeah, so we all know where that's heading. Anyways just thought I would share for some reason. Damn I love that ruler though. :)

And what about this new show Married By America? Come on, how stupid can you get for a reality tv show? I'm beginning to wonder what the next tv show "fad" is going to be after this reality show kick is over.
Anyways, nice break from studio (again), now back to work.
Damn it, FOX sucks! Not only did they not show the end of Joe Millionare tonight like I was hoping, but they caused me to miss an hour of studio to see it. Now I have to miss 2 hours of studio next week to see the finallie. Damn them. How dare they make a crappy but addictive show and keep it running for so long. I mean come on, the show absolutely sucks, but people are watching it anyway. I guess after this FOX's new motto will be "Lies will get you money." Then again you can only lie so often before people pick up on it.

Hmm . . . news from the All Benevolent Dictator is that D&D is now going to have version 3.5. Why 3.5? Why not just change more and call it 4.0? This isn't AOL we're talking about here, you can make drastic changes to it without too many problems because people can still use the older systems. Oh well.
Not much going on lately. Just school work (which I really should be doing) and the occasional hanging out with friends. I finally finished Xenogears agian though. I'm so happy about that too, especially since Xenosaga is comming out soon.

Ok, safe, for the time being, or at least I'd like to think so. Moving on, so yeah where was I? Right, friend from HS. So yeah it's cool being able to talk to her again and knowing what's going on with her and stuffs. I'm glad she's doing ok and I'm glad she finally emailed me.
On another note, time to rant about Otto, my studio professor. So I was scheduled to meet with him today in studio to review my stuff. Well I had to leave at 4 to get ready for Akido and he hadn't showed up by 3:30. It's kinda annoying to have a studio prof. that doesn't show up on time or even show up at a consistent late time. It would be ok if he just didn't get there until 2pm or 3pm consistently, instead sometimes he's there at 1:15, sometimes at 2:00, sometimes at 3:30, you can just never tell when he's going to arrive. Kinda sucky when you're on a time crunch.
Speaking of time crunch, I gotta go get ready for the start of my Star Wars campaign now.
Woo! One of my friends from High School who I thought dissapeared off the face of the planet actually emailed me. I knew there was a reason I kept my email on my webpage. Anyways it's kinda cool to catch up after not seeing each other or talking to each other in 3 years.

Anyways . . . what to talk about. You know I'm not really sure. I'm just gonna kinda type until I get something out.
Talked to my friend Kassie today. (Actually I'm still talking to her). Haven't had a chance to talk in a while, nice to reminice every once in a while. She used to live across the street from me and then her family moved and she went to college in San Diego. Good thing that AIM exists. I'd never talk to any of my old friends without it.
Ok I guess that's it for now. If I find anything else of interest to talk about later I might. I think I'll go read my Humorscope now and see what they've come up with for today.

Ok so sadly I'm going to miss Joe Millionare because of this. For some reason me and the people in my quad have gotten hooked on it. We actually enjoy it for its ability to be made fun of rather than its seriousness. We each picked a "pony" (girl) and have been routing for that girl since the beginning. So far out of the 6 of us 4 of us still have ponys. Kinda surprising but at least we can pick them well. So far my pony is Zora. I'm actually kinda surprised that she stayed in after the last episode since the date with him went so horribly. Who knows. Actually it's kinda sad that we're into this as much as we are. For us it's just an hour of amusement on monday nights.
Hmm . . . Superbowl today, not like I'm watching it or anything. Unfortunately I have some studio work to do. However I may just head out of here early to catch the end of it. If I get home in time. I don't even know when the game was supposed to start. If nothing else I can see who won. Personally I'm voting for the Raiders, but that's because they're from the Bay Area and I live not far from there. Well at least my actual home where I lived before I came to college was there. It still counts though. Anyways, I think I'm going to get out of here. I've been here for 1.5 hours but I don't see myself getting anywhere anytime soon. Fortunately I don't have studio until 7:30pm tomorrow so I have time during the day to do stuff.

Woo Hoo!!! I now own Glamdring from LOTR!!! Yay. Well ok, so it's only a replica, but it's a damn spiffy one at that. I originaly wanted to get Narsil, but it's out of stock just about everywhere in the country except for like ebay. And there you have to pay an arm and a leg just to get something that may not be as good. But Glamdring is cool too. Oh, and for those of you who don't know the names of the swords from LOTR, Glamdring is the sword Gandalf uses to kick the Balrogs ass. Narsil is the sword that slayed Sauron originally.

Damn it! I hate UPS!!! I thik UPS is actually trying to not deliver me my $300 lego Star Destroyer. The first time they were supposed to deliver it I wasn't here and didn't find out until it was too late that they were going to ship it back to lego. So I go through the trouble of calling lego and they shipped it back. Well it's suposidly supposed to arrive today but it's already 20 til 5:00 and they don't deliver after 5:00. Damn them. I don't think I'll ever use UPS even if my life depended on it. I've been waiting for this thing for over a month now and they still can't deliver on time. ARGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

My studio is going to be cool this year. My teacher is a cool guy that lets us do stuff when we want. We don't realy have to be in studio all the time. We can leave early if we want cuz he's not here much. He's funny too, I like him.
In other news, book 10 of the Wheel of Time series is finally out. Guess what I'm picking up when I leave here today?
Ok well that's the brief of it. I'd say more but I'm in studio and I don't know how much time I have until Otto (studio teacher) gets here.
Ok so I'm finally back and ready to go on blogging again. It's been a good chiristmas for me. Lots of DVDs and a new Platinum Game Cube *drool* Tis spiffy. I got Metroid Prime with it too. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play it so I'm still at the beginning. Oh well. I can play it later.
