That sucks that you haven't managed to hook up with anyone Sam. I figured at the very least you would have spent a lot of time with Mason. And thinking of Paul I need to do some work on our next D&D game. (I have so little time and too much to do in it). Hopefully closer to the end of summer I'll actually have time to do stuff (ha ha -.-)
Anyways typical D&D game yesterday. Well, ok so it wasn't our typical game, we decided to try out the new Star Wars game instead (it was either that or Shadowrun, and I'm not all that fond of Shadowrun). We had fun though, I ended up being a Wookie Scout and all the bad guys wanted to shoot me. I took quite a lot of damage that game, but it was ok cuz I'm a Wookie and Wookies can take that kind of stuff. Actually I managed to drag my friend AJ along with me and she played a Jedi that I had a Wookie Life Debt to (it was a good way to say that our characters knew each other). That was cool, but I think she got mad at me when I ripped a guy's arm off that we were interrogating because he was talking about human supremacy. (I threw the arm back at the guy when we were done with him. Unfortunately that was a joke that no one there understood).
Ok well enough of that, I'm supposed to be leaving here soon to go see Atlantis with a few of my friends. Should be fun, even if we don't like the movie.
Hee hee, I'm going to live longer than Sam is. According to The Spark's Death Test I'm going to die on March 29, 2058 at the age of 75. (Actually I think I would rather like that. My family is long lived and has a tendency to live well into their 90's. I don't want to live that long). Most likely I will die from:

Dude this sucks, why did I have to be the out-of-state person in college? All of my friends live close to each other and I live really far away. So not only do I not get to see any of them, but they get to see each other and hang out and I'm stuck down here.

Just a few minutes for a quick blog and then I'm outta here.
Saw Final Fantasy today, it was very cool, I liked it a lot. The CG was very well done, the storyline was good (parts of it were reminiscent of the games), and it had one of those bad guys that you love to hate. Heck Cid was even there. It is definately a movie to go see (at least if you're me and love FF to pieces).
Plus #2 was one of the trailers that showed. It was the first trailer that I had seen for the Spiderman movie. That looks like it is going to be an awesome movie too. I can't wait till that one comes out next March. I must see that one. (FYI Spiderman is my favorite superhero, so don't mind my babble if you don't care about the fact that it will probably be one of the coolest movies).

Hee hee, got to hang out with AJ and Jen today. We were going to play Monopoly but decided to watch Charlies Angels instead. There's a long story behind the Charlies Angels thing, basically the 3 of us would always hang out with a guy and somehow ended up with a joke that we were Charlies Angels and he was Charlie. We decided on who was who and found out that we were quite happy with who we picked after the movie was over. I'm Dylan, Jen is Alex, and AJ was Natalie. We also figured that Chris was Bosley and Ben was Charlie. Somehow we managed to fit the parts pretty well. It's kinda fun watching the movie when you are all affiliated with people from the movie.

Well I saw A.I. today. It was . . . different, not exactly what I was expecting. Then again I wasn't sure what to expect in the first place. Over all it was a good movie though. It was really long too, even though it didn't seem like it. Very strange ending.

Mwa ha ha ha ha. . . Chris has been doing something weird which is allowing me to do something stupid. He hooked up his computer to his tv (don't ask me why, I can't read a darned thing) so I decided that I would blog like this. Currently I'm lying on the couch typing (it's fun to use a mouse on the couch, especially since he has an optical mouse so it still works). It's kinda hard to read any of this even though the font is turned up as big as it can be. Hee hee, oh well, it allows me to act like an idiot and giggle insanely over something this stupid (using a computer hooked up to a tv). Ah the joys in life.

Yay, I now have Final Fantasy Chronicles. I may have played through Chrono Trigger 50 million times but I still love it and must have it for my Playstation. Final Fantasy IV is a darn cool game too. This makes me very happy, which is a good thing considering the week I'm going to have next week. We get monday off (yay) but then we have to work a 12 hour a day work week (ick). It'll be torture, but it'll give me a lot of money ($.$)

True, you do have to sign up for a parking permit before you can park on campus. When you do get your car we can alternate, that way neither one of us is constantly driving the 2 hour drive.
As soon as I have enough energy to do anything other than sleep in the afternoon (basically when I get used to the funky hours standing on my feet all day running around) then I'll focus on writing more Squirrelman. Come to think of it I still need to work on D&D too. *sigh* not enough time to do much so far this summer. I'll be lucky if I manage to get much done that I had planned. I have to finish the first book in the Lord of the Rings, I'm going to end up with about 3 new video games to play, I have to write Squirrelman, and I have to work on D&D, plus I have a job that is very tiring and has long hours and overtimed. Not the summer I planned but not much I can do about it. I'll just have to do what I can

Anyways not much else going on besides work (and possible overtime on monday or tuesday, or so I hear -.-). We did go to see Cats & Dogs yesterday, it was rather funny, I enjoyed it. Ok well the complaining part is over now. Have fun in California and avoid the rolling blackouts (Although I have yet to be hit by one). I know I'm doing my part to conserve electricity (and avoid a rather large bill) but there are lots of stupid people in CA who don't care.

*stumbles in door and collapses into chair* Well my first day of work is over and I am very tired and achy. Working on an assembly line is definately something that I have to build stamina for (although I did much better than Chris did cuz I have more leg muscle than he does and can stand for longer periods of time). Basically besided the half hour lunch I was standing for 8 hours and bending over a lot (which killed my back). I now have the smell of sawdust perminately ingraned in my nose and the actual sawdust covering me from head to toe (ah the joys of working in a place that makes wood furniture). The only plus to working from 3am to noon is that it's before it gets too hot (fans can only cool you off so much). So I'm done with work before the real heat of the day starts to show. Along with that I have the entire afternoon off.

The LAN party was fun, it went all night and into half of today. It was the most successful one we've had so far. We actually managed to get 7 computers there rather than the 4 or 5 that we normally get. Wade was also supposed to bring one but the parts for his computer didn't ship in time so it couldn't be built for this LAN. Oh well, it was still fun, and all the guys had power-strip envy of me. I brought my nice power-strip with a 15' long cord and everyone was jealous. It was kinda funny.
Anyways gotta go catch some zzzzzzzz now cuz I gotta be up at 2:30 am to get ready for work.
Well I don't have time to read any blogs today but I figured I'd touch up on a few highlights of the weekend while I have a short time online.

Well I found out where I'm working starting monday. I get to work in Packaging from 3am to noon (and that's the day shift). It'll be boring but easy work that pays well, so I can't really complain much, especially since it's the only job left in town (unless I want to work at Taco Bell which I particularly don't).
And in other news Chris's new dog has moved out of the lathargic I'm scared phase and is actually moving around and playing. He's kinda cute wandering around the house looking for stuff to chew on.
LAN party today, yay!!! Time for me to go hang out with a bunch of guys and play with my computer all day. What could be better? Well, ok it could be better if Matt Franklin wasn't going to be there but he's just one annoyance I'll have to live with today. Oh well, we can't have everything.

Today is my last day of house sitting ;_; even though they were a pain in the mornings I'm going to miss the doggies. They were fun to play with and interesting to walk. I got lots of comments like "They're so pretty" or "Are they wolves?" The latter was my favorite cuz it was funny to watch people vier around them thinking they were such. Nope they are Siberian Huskies (one if which is abnormally HUGE). They're very sweet and like everybody they come in contact with. All in all they were fun to take care of. (Although I won't miss the incredable amounts of fur they shed every time you touch them. There was about a 0.5" thick layer of fur on the floor by the end of the week).
Thinking of doggies. Chris has a new doggie now. His name is Barney (they didn't pick the name, it was the one he came with). He's very lathargic but should get along well with Penny when they have to dog-sit her again.
Have fun with the garage sale. Your family collects waaaaaay too much stuff.
Another boring day today. The only excitement today is going to be an orientation for my new job. That's when I get to find out if I work from 6pm - 2:30am or 3am - 12pm. Such great options ne? Oh well, at least it's a job that pays well.

*hops about with joy* I finally have all of the Cowboy Bebop DVDs. Granted I don't have a DVD player yet but the house I'm watching does so it's all good. Besides I think my mom is going to break down and eventually get one, either that or ask for it for christmas (saves me the trouble of asking for one). In the meantime Chris has one I can use so no worries there.
Life's rather boring at the moment. The only annoying thing going on right now is the fact that the dogs I'm taking care of at the moment seem to think that every day they need to howl and whine until I get up to take them for a walk. That's not the only problem, every day they like to start earlier than before. I started last week with them whining at 8 am for a walk, now they whine at 6 am for a walk, and all because I took them for a walk at 7:30 one day.
So much for the exciting part of my life. Every thing else is boring. (Ok so that was boring too, but it was the most excitement I've had so far this vacation). At least I start my job on monday (yay manual labor. At least it pays well).
Wow, I've just realized that I haven't blogged anything for several days. Where did the time go? My house sitting job is almost over (no more big screen tv and DVD player ;_;). Oh well, at least it was fun while it lasted.
Other than the whining they're good dogs though. They keep to themselves for the most part and only bug me every now and then to scratch them. All in all it's not bad, I'm just not very fond of being woken up at 6 am.
