Yay! I got a new mouse for my computer. My old one just died on me so I had to get a new one. I even broke down and got an optical mouse (I prefer mouse ball, but thats just me). So it'll take some getting used to, but at least it works. I figure I gotta move up with the times sometime soon anyways.
My Humorscope of the day:
You will finally get the television exposure you've been wanting, by organizing a group of protesters to block the entrance to a physics lab, holding crudely-lettered signs saying "Down With Gravity!"

You know it occurs to me that I don't blog nearly enough. It's usually a week or so between blogs. I should rant about my life more often than that.
Anyways going up to P-town this weekend. Well, friday night and saturday at least. I have architecture stuffs due on monday so I'm here right now working on stuff and then again on sunday so that I'll be ready for monday. Man this sucks. Second weeks of school and I'm already going to be pulling all nighters.
You know what, life is boring right now. All I have is school and school and reading homework, and my damn structures class. I hate that thing, I have to remember math I did 4 years ago in order to do these problems. Why didn't they just make us take physics again sooner? Why so long ago? Grrrr. . . However I do have an advantage over the Graduate students, they haven't taken math in even longer.
Something that really sucks is that I finally discovered what I want to be for halloween this year (and the next, and the next, and the next . . .) is a Stormtrooper. Not some panzy ass stormtrooper that a little kid may go around as, no I'm talking the $1000 Stormtrooper outfit. The one that's an exact replica of those in the movies. However I don't have $1000 to spend on one. Sucky ain't it?
Anyways I should actually get some Arch homework done now.

Ok well school has finally started so I now have stuff to blog about. Well ok so I sorta have stuff to blog about. Like the fact that I've been lazy about blogging.
Anyways on to some other stuff. I bought Kingdom Hearts the other day (right before school started), and I must say that it's a lot of fun. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from a Disney/Square alliance but I must say that I'm pleased with the result. Granted the gameplay takes a little getting used to, but other than that it's good. The opening is awesome too.
In other news I'm getting an Ipod. Yep an Ipod, one of those spiffy little things that allows you to listen to mp3s on the go. And yes it is an Apple product, but they make one for Windows too, and so far as I've heard it's the best out there.

Sorry for the lack of entries lately. I'm going through a period of depression right now so don't expect much from me for another week or so. Hopefully after the smoke clears a little more I'll be in more of a mood to blog. There's just too much going on right now for me to do much.

Life sucks. Every time I think I have a good thing going it suddenly isn't. The even suckier thing is that I can't do anything about it. I'm helpless to fix the situation. I don't think I could be more depressed than I already am. I wish life could be nice a happy agian, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen. I fear the worst. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Yeah my blog is kind school spirited Sam but it was completely unintentional. I wasn't even thinking about it. And I agree with you on the fact that the latest winamp sucks. I went back to old winamp because winamp 3 is bad in my opinion.
Yay for the continuation of the legolas skin!!!111
Dude Shawn what's with the funky layouts? I can hardly read any of that.
I really should post more, but I don't. One of these days I'll remember to post more often. Life has been sorta interesting lately. I'm now addicted to that damn new MechWarrior: Dark Ages game. All of my money as of late has been pulled into the vortex that it creates. But it's fun. I became addicted to the game during my trip to Montana with Alex. Twas a fun trip. I got to see him and his family get dunked in the river when we were kayaking. It was kinda funny since I was the inexperienced one of the group and I didn't get dunked, even when I was almost cloths-lined by a branch.
Anyways life is slow. I've been playing Final Fantasy IV again to take my mind off of MechWarrior and buying more. It's kinda sad when you scrounge for money in your room and then walk to the gameing store and buy $20 worth of MechWarrior with change. Yeah I know, I'm pathetic, but you know what, at least it's fun. If it were a sucky game and I was wasting money on it, then I'd have a problem. Then agian if it weren't fun I wouldn't waste my money on it.
Ok so I'm going to stop babbling now. I need to get out and do something away from my computer. I've been playing CS too long. Now that I'm caught up on blogs and have posted I feel like I've done something productive today *little voice in head* "Productive?"
Oh, and one other thing, I found this spiffy new webcomic that some of you Secret of Mana fans out there might enjoy. It's called Secret of Mana Theater (yeah I know it's an 8-Bit Theater title rip, but it's fun). It's interesting because it's an animated comic. Check it out.

This is a message to anyone from the Edge of Soul blog that I'm a part of. If you read this in time I just wanted to let you know that I'm stuck away from my computer with the link for me to log in as Yoshimitsu. So I won't be able to blog there until I get back sometime next week. Hopefully one of you will read this before then, if not I'll report it when I get back.

Ok so I finally got around to makeing the chocobo layout that I wanted for my blog. I'm pretty happy with it, nice and simple. I'd thought about doing something very complex and cool looking, but then I though everyone else is already doing that. Besides, chocobos go better in simple layouts, not complex ones. So here it is, enjoy.

Bleh, today has not been a good day for me. I'm board, I have a 10 page paper due in 2 days, and I had a 102 degree fever earlier today. Not a good combination. Needless to say I wish I could take a break from stuff, but I kinda already am.
I've been working at Sony Disc Manufacturing on and off for the past two weeks. It's interesting to watch all these music cd's and computer games and playstation games roll off the lines. Some of the games we see aren't even out in stores yet. But I can't tell you about those, I'm not allowed to give away any Sony secrets, it's in my contract of sorts. It's an interesting shift to work because I'm working from 6pm to 2:30am.
Been getting a lot of push from people lately to get a Live Journal. Granted they have a lot more stuff to them, but I'd rather not since Pitas is treating me well and I don't actually have a lot of friends with Live Journals to make use of their spiffy extra stuff. That and I hate changing my link constantly.
Anyways I've lost my motivation to blog anything else right now.

Not much going on right now. Not much to blog and it shows. I'll probably start blogging more once school starts and I need something to do. Right now summer is just becomming a "blah" summer and I'm not doing anything, including blog. Oh well. Those of you who actually read my blog should probably just ignor it until the school year starts in September. I may actually have something then.

Well there's not much going on, but I have nothing better to do so I figure I can blog. Currently Neverwinter Nights has consumed my soul and is keeping me captive. I can't get away from this game. I think the guy I bought it from at Software Etc said it best when he said it was "electronic crack." I don't know how many of you out there have played it, but if you like D&D and Baulder's Gate, you'll like this. Just be warned that it is very addictive.
Anyways . . . hmmm . . . upgraded my video card to a GeForce 4. Sadly I couldn't get the exact one I wanted because Dell is stupid and one year ago installed a PCI graphics card in my computer instead of an AGP. Which means that my computer has no AGP slot and will not really be able to be upgraded much more, which sucks. The only way around that would be to completely replace the motherboard.

Ok so last night was an interesting excursion. Let's just say that me and my fellow quadmates had way too much fun with a camera, and I mean WAAAAAAAAAY too much fun. Oh well, makes for some really interesting pictures and probably a death sentence for roomie Paul after boyfriends see pictures (poor Paul ;P) Nah, Paul will be ok, hopefully. I bet some of you are wondering about these pictures now. Actually we planned on posting them on the web just because they were priceless, however we haven't gotten around to that yet. Tsua was going to do it, but she's at work at the moment so I'll make a webpage really quickly and then edit this entry to include the URL.

Ok so I didn't get around to blogging later yesterday. Oh well, I had stuff to do and videogames to play. Actually currently I've been sucked up by a game called Neverwinter Nights. This Baulders Gate style game is highly addictive and should only be played in moderation. However with an addiction value greater than nicotine it's really hard. So far I've spent every waking hour not doing homework playing that game. I'm even losing sleep over it because I lose track of time playing it. Oh well, at least it's fun.
Things around the quad are good. I'm almost completely moved in. Just a few pepsi crates to stash and my desk to clean off and I'm done. Granted the cleaning off the desk part is going to take a long while, as is the stashing of the pepsi crates, but at least they're out of the way and in an almost put away state.
4th of July was interesting. First one I've actually spent at a party. Also the first one I've spent outside of California. I'm not used to the whole "Firework are legal" thing. In CA they aren't, so this was kinda fun. It was also amusing to watch Ricky and Jan get drunk. By the end of the night you could say just about anything to them and they'd think it was funny. I actually broke my own rules that night and had something to drink too. Only one though, and I didn't go anywhere that night. Actually, and thankfully, no one left till morning.
Hmm . . . now life sucks. I have two papers due on Monday for my classes. I'm halfway through one, and I have yet to start the other. I'm using this as a reason to slack off right now. Should probably get back to it. But before I go, I will leave you with a picture of my faithful companion and man's best friend: Spike
