BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, this image is curtesy of Chris, who got it from some forums where some conservative christian dude was talking about kicking all the blue states out of the union. I don't see a problem with this, do you?

Wednesday, November 3, 2004 Welcome to the New Era
Congradulations America, you have voted Bush into office agian. Since Bush now has supreme power with both halves of Congress being Republican there will be a few changes made to the country.
1. Christianity is the only religion allowed, no other religions may exist because they are obviously all wrong.
2. Anyone caught practicing another religion shall be tried and burned at the stake when the guilty verdict is reached, and a guilty verdict will be reached.
3. Darwinistic ideas can no longer be taught in schools for any reason. Anyone who teaches such obvious lies will be shot on site.
4. Minorities can now only live in the states of California and New York. Any living outside of these states will be shiped there by train.
5. Women are now the property of their husbands and are now allowed to get a job without his permission. The only jobs available will be secretaries (only if you're good looking) and school teachers.
6. Any woman caught treating her body as her own property by using any type of birth control or getting an abortion shall be given the death penalty.
7. Any doctor or pharmasist caught giving out birth control or performing an abortion shall also be given the death penalty.
8. Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Hermaphrodites, and Transexuals are not allowed to exist outside of San Francisco. Any living outside of the city currently shall be shiped by train and "clensed" upon arrival.
9. Anyone who fits into any combination of categories (ie being a lesbian female who believes in Budah) will be lynched without trial and their family shall be investigated for similar transgressions.
10. Lastly the American flag shall be changed to better fit the new leadership:

Ok its official, I can cry now. Bush is leading 269 to 221. Unless some more Kerry votes appear from nowhere we're all fucked. No one can dispute the fact that in the past four years we've gone from having quite a few allies in the world to haveing absolutely zero. Not a fucking one, and it's all Bush's fault. Everyone hates us, everyone. Even the people who used to like us, they hate us now too. Now they're gonna hate us more. I wanna move out, like to japan or something. I'll go make video games there instead. I no longer want to be an American. I honestly don't. If I didn't have so many damn ties here and 3 more years of school I'd seriously consider moving for the next four years and saying "fuck you America, go screw yourself without me."

GOD FUCKING DAMN IT my roommates decided to have a party (while I was gone) and I come back to find my entertainment stuff all fucked with and being used by people I don't know and now wine has been spilled on my computer case and gotten into my computer manuals and now it all smells (which will never come out) and it's fucking 1:40 in the morning. I haven't been able to finish my homework cuz they were playing music loudly till just now when I finally pulled the plug on the sterio. I'm so fucking pissed right now it's not even funny. I wish I could stab them all in the eye with a pencil and tell them to get the fuck out of my apartment.

This game is on some serious crack. Like more crack than normal. Like so much crack there isn't enough crack in the universe to explain how much crack this game is on. But it's fun as hell, especially once you get to start rolling over people. They usually scream and run and then you pick them up and they wiggle their arms about till you cover them up with something else. Damn this is a fun game, and only $20 too. This game is too awesome for words. It's also really hard to describe. You have a giant ball, and you roll over stuff to pick it up. The bigger the ball of stuff when time runs out the better. Usually. Unless you gotta pick up the biggest bear on the screen and then you run into some tiny ass toy bear and the level ends and your like "NUUUUUUUUUU" and you gotta start over.

So I won the costume contest at school (go me!) and got a $25 gift card to Chilli's (mmmmm). Granted my competition consisted of 10 people, but still its better than the one year I was in a costume contest(at the U of O) wearing the exact same thing and was booed of stage by hundreds of people. So yeah I was extrememly happy about that.
Oh and just so I have a copy of the Secret Service link I'm gonna post it here. For those of you who haven't read it, you should.

Ok so I know it's still a few days till Halloween, but my school is holding a Halloween contest today and I have decided to partake. I think I look pretty good.

So yesterday in class I got to have one of those "I'm smart" moments. In front of the class no less. We were discussing puzzles and eventually the teacher mentioned Einstein's Riddle which he said that smart people will solve in around 8-15 minutes, others in 20-60 and some not at all. Well we got to work on it in class and I was one of 2 people who solved it in 14-15 minutes out of a class of 20. Several others got it after 30 monutes and some were still working on it. I felt so smart when I found out I had the right answer too. Lol I did a little happy dance in class. Normally I hate logic puzzles but this took up a half hour of a 4 hour class so I wasn't going to complain.

So after much pressure I have joined yet another cult. Yes I said cult. I have joined the MySpace cult cuz all my friends at school have them and they made me. And not just me, everyone in our group. It's basically a blog with more options of things to put. Mine isn't as elaborate as some, but that's mostly because I don't really care. It's bad enough I gave in and joined the Live Journal cult, or even the Weblog cult alltogether. Damn you cultists!

damn it, my friend Adam gave me this cold, which wasn't all that bad until the coughing started a few days ago. Now I've been coughing so much that I can no longer talk. If I do manage to make sound it isn't much. This sucks, especially since I'm trying to get an interview for a job and if my voice doesn't come back it's gonna make things kinda difficult. So far the cough drops I picked up haven't done anything, but hopefully they will start working here soon.

Ok so I had to share what is probably the best art I've done to date. Granted this is a kinda fuzzy photo of it cuz I don't have a scaner so you'll have to see through the fuz to the cool looking bamboo.

Ok Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow was a cool movie. I had no idea that the evil scientist was building all those robots for the reason he was. It was kinda cool. And I like the 30s look to it. Although sadly that kinda dissapeared a bit towards the end, but it was still awesome. Oh, oh, and there were these cool other things that I can't really talk about because it might ruin stuff but it has to do with Cpt. Franky Cook. You'll all know what I'm talking about when you see it. Ok so the actual characters left something to be desired. And the plot isn't terribly deep, but I expected that since they were going for the early movie style. Visually though it was totally awesome.

Went to Disneyland today. It was fun. I now have a season pass so I can go whenever I want to. It takes a lot of pressure off of going there too cuz you don't have to worry about getting to everything in a day, you can take your time and if you miss something come back later. I'm also excited cuz now I can go into the park and draw stuff. Sadly a lot of it is closed off cuz they're revamping for their 50th anniversary in May of next year. But anyways I came back with a spiffy souvineer.
Truth be told though there are actualy two of us in that picture. Yes I know that it looks like it's just me as a blue Twi'lek with Natalie Portman playing Padme, but that's not true, Natalie actually looks more like this:

So I've made a few realizations lately that I thought I might share with people. The first is that I really gotta stop watching Japanese things in English. Damn Cartoon Network. This is mostly because I'm starting to recognize voice actors when they voice multiple characters and it spoils the whole thing. Well ok so the realization that the same voice that does Robin from Teen Titans also does Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia doesn't really relate to watching Japanese things in English as well since TT isn't a Japanese cartoon, but it's close enough. Anyways the next voice I recognized came today when one of the minor characters from Star Ocean is the same voice as Dorthy from Big-O. That was kinda an odd realization. The only problem with keeping everything in Japansese (I really wish the games stayed that way too) is that I'm beginning to recognize Japanese voice actors too. Granted so far it's just one but it kinda spoils the character when you realize that the guy who does Vashs voice also does the voice for the panzy male main character from Mahotsukai Thai (I want to be a magician). It was kinda depressing.
Ok yeah so that rant probably made no sense what so ever but whatever. On to my next one.
Realization number two for this week is that art is really nothing more than telling a lie convincingly. I mean think about it, you're looking at a flat surface that is drawn in such a way that it looks 3D. There really isn't any depth to it at all, it's just a flat surface. Good artists are really nothing more than good liers. They tell lies so convincingly that you believe what they tell you. So that's what I'm comming to school for, to learn how to lie well. My major should really be called Game Lying and Design instead of Game Art and Design. So when I graduate from here I will have become a professional lyer. Kinda neat when you think about it that way. So the next time you look at some piece of art thats drawn on a flat surface that looks convincingly real, just remember the artist is probably off somewhere thinking "Ah hahahaha those idiots actually believe it's real." :P

Star Ocean Till The End of Time is teh schiznit. It's the first RPG since KoToR that has captivated me and made me want to play it for more than 2 hours in a row. Ok so part of that was me ooooing and aaawwwing over the backgrounds and such because of my new appreciation for video game art. But yeah it's still cool. Similar idea to Star Ocean 2 in that your someone from a futureish planet traped on a backwords planet. It keeps making references to SO2 as well so I have to keep trying to remember what was going on with that. It was something funky having to do with an artificial world and I think another dimension and the artificial world in danger. But I'm not sure about the alt. dimension thing. Anyways yeah the game is cool. It'll be the one thing that will get me away from my SWG addiction. I'll still be playing SWG in the evenings most likely but now during the day I'll probably play this. It also inspires me to draw. Before I was kinda wavering between doing characters and backgrounds but I think I've realized that the reason I went into this whole thing was for the world creation aspect of it. I mean that's why I went into Architecture, to create buildings. So yeah it all makes sense. Of course doing vehicles too would be cool. I've always had a fondness of inanimate objects.
07:42 p.m.
Well that was a crazy concert if I've ever been to one. Granted it was damn cool, but it was really strange in some aspects and really bad in others.
The Good:
It was Phil Collins, need I say more
The Bad:
The lady who yelled at me because people were walking in front of her (her seat was part of an aisle btw)
The people who kept dancing in the aisles no matter how many times you told them not to
The lady who had an alergic reaction to her medication and had to be taken to the hospital
The Strange:
The lady who came up to me, beer in hand and proclaimed "I'm 50" and then proceeded to kiss me on the cheek.

PURE 3VIL... now available in grape
So I tried the Mt. Dew Pitch Black, and it's basically grape soda with that slight Mt. Dew twinge. So if you like grape soda I'd say go get it, but if your not all that fond of grapes don't. But it's not as horrible as I imagined it would be. So yeah there's the update on the Pure 3vil.

Ok it's official my roommates are complete IDIOTS and could have gotten us all killed this morning. So I wake up this morning and go through my usual stuff and when I leave my room my nose is suddenly filled with the smell of gas. So of course my first thought is "HOLY SHIT." I walk into the kitchen and sure enough one of the dials on our gas stove is turned slightly on. Now the last time they used it was last night, so this stuff has been filling the apartment all night. I walk over and turn it off and proceed to open up the apartment to allow it all to vent. I go to tell them that they left the stove on and of course they're denying it like it really matters who did it. I don't freaking care who did it I just don't want them to do it again. It's not plesant waking up in the morning to a gas filled apartment. They must have been breathing it all night too cuz they couldn't smell it and the only way for that to happen would be for your nose to adjust to it. Damn it I don't want to die because of a couple of 18 year old idiots.

Ok so I have just come from seeing the weirdest thing in my life, WWE Raw. Yes I had to work a wrestling match and I got to witness the whole thing. And I must say, god damn that's worse than a soap opera. Ok so the wrestling itself was kinda entertaining, and the Rock is actually quite funny when he's at a wrestling match. I can actualy give kudos to the wrestlers when they are wrestling cuz they put a lot of hard work into doing those stunts correctly. I also learned tonight that their stunt overseer I guess you could call him is actually the referee. He makes sure the wrestlers are staying safe while not letting the audience know he's there. If you ever have the chance to watch it live you notice the referee talking to them constantly, I'm guessing 90% of it is for show and the other 10% is him helping the wrestlers. The other thing I noticed was the wrestlers tapping out when the other one had them in a headlock and was squeezing too tightly. Something that the average person wouldn't know about but I do because of Akido. So yeah that part was kinda interesting, well the later ones at least. The pre-show was a bunch of n00bs. Then at the end came the wedding. Yes you heard me, wedding. I don't know the details but some chick lost a bet and had to marry some guy she hated. It was.... very soap operaish. Especially the part where everyone in the wedding is wearing pure white and then the bride comes out in a black dress. So yeah it was interesting to say the least.

Today I give thanks to the god of papertowels. Yes you heard me, papertowels. The god of papertowels has been kind enough to spare my computer from the evil attack by the god Cafferious who attempted to spill Mt. Dew on my laptop. Fortunately he mostly failed in his attack and only a small amount of the liquid (by small I mean a few drops) landed on my mouse keys and worked it's way under. So of course I turned off the computer and began papertoweling the spill out of it. I flushed it out a bit too with water to keep it from getting sticky. I think the viscosity of the soda kept it from actually getting into the computer cuz it was basically sticking to the side of the keys and not really traveling downwords. I know some of it landed under the keys because when I pressed them it squished out. I don't think it was enough to do any damage though and once the rest of the water evaporates from the computer I'll check it to see how it's doing. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing if the soda got down to anything or not. But it was such a small amount that I'm hopefull it didn't. In the meantime though I have this computer and more drawing homework to do -_-

lol I think my new saying "w00tage in a box" might start catching on. At least one person so far seems to like it, I know I do at least. It'll be my new thing, and the cool part about it is that it's actually my saying cuz I came up with it, all by my self. yeah ok so most of you are probably thinking it's lame, but damn it at lest one person aside from me likes it.

Fuck, I really hate my living situation at this moment. I was all nice and happy 5 minutes ago and ready to do my drawing homework and now I'm pissed off. One of my roommates is moving out tomorrow and she hasn't told housing yet that she's moving and all I said was "You really need to tell housing that your moving" and she bitched me out for it. So now I'm mad cuz I didn't even do anything and I don't like people bitching me out for things I haven't done. I'm also upset because it made me think about the fact that my other two roommates have left a huge mess in the kitchen that's been there for a week and they haven't cleaned it up yet. They are also very immature, granted they are both 18, but I've known quite a few 18 year olds who are smarter than they are and it pisses me off. No wonder I never do anything with them.

So I was lucky enough yesterday to meet two of the background artists from Blizzard who are working on World of Warcraft, the guy who wrote the book Sword and Circuitry and also owns a game company by the same name, and the head of Atari who also created Earthworm Jim. I'm feeling damn lucky right now. They had a small little seminar at my school and so I got to talk to them for 2 hours. It was damn cool. We were all aksing them all kinds of questions about the industry and how things work. And they may be comming back again in a few months so I can ask them more stuff. It makes me happy.

So yeah that was actually a pretty cool concert, what little I saw of it. I was technically supposed to be working (I got lucky and got a floor level job inside the stadium) but every now and then I'd sneak a peek over my shoulder at what was going on. And I got to hear the whole thing too which was cool. But damn that sucker was loud. I had ear plugs in and it was freakin' loud. When I went on break I got up to the hallway and took them out cuz I figured it would be quieter, not really. That hurt my ears. I don't know how the people in the stadium could stand it. But yeah so my first day of work was cool. Now I just need to see if I can get a floor level job for Incubus.

I remembered what it was I was going to say yesterday. I noticed that in Tales of Symphonia the voice actor for the main character Lloyd is the same voice actor that does Robins voice in Teen Titans.

You know I had something to say when I logged on and now it's completely escaped me. So instead I'll just post, well, nothing. Cuz that's about all that I have to say right now. Haven't done much really. School, and I have a job now. Although I did pick up Tales of Symphonia for GC the other day. First 2-disc game I've seen so far. Although I've only made it through the beginning dungeon because either I don't have time to play or my roommates are hogging the tv watching movies. I'm hopeful that I can use the tv this weekend to play the game. I was planning on finishing it before Star Ocean came out at the end of the month, but that's not happening now. The month is already half over and I have barely begun the game. Oh well, I'll just have to finish it first before I can start Star Ocean.

w00t I got my new layout up. I likes it, it's spiffy. After 7 layouts I've finaly figured this damn thing out. This is the first one that didn't take me hours to get up and running due to various technical problems. Then again I think it helps that I'm not trying to align stuff right this time. The internet doesn't like to do that.

So yeah the reason for the title is mostly because I fucked up typing it and thought it was amusing so I kept it. It's supposed to say Beyond Good & Evil, which is the name of a really cool game. So cool in fact that I had to make a desktop background out of it. Keep in mind I made it for my laptop which runs at 1920x1200 resolution so it's kinda big. BGE Background I have a pita layout that's very similar to it that I'm gonna put up once I get the htmling done. Acutally I did the pita bg first and decided I liked it enough to do a background like it.

w00t I officialy have wirless in my apartment. That's one less wire now that I have to hook up. Granted I still need to get the wires from the router to my other computer and my roommates computers. Good thing I have four 25' cables. Although my connector that I used too hook two of them together is somewhere at home, so I'll have to get another one. Either that or strategically place my hub somewhere where it can connect the cables. Hmmm I wonder if I can duct tape it to the wall in the hallway and continue the calbes from there. Hmmm..... don't know how Jennifer will react to that one though, since she is a neat freak. Hmm.... I can see it now, this may not be that bad of an idea, and it'll get the cables away from the floor. Hmmmm.......
Anyways, so yeah happiness with the router. Crap I just realized I still have my art homework to do. I should start on that since it's already 9:20 pm and I have class tomorrow at 9:30 am. And on top of all that my room is a mess and really needs to be cleaned. Well ok so really it needs to be unpacked, but you get the idea.
