Ok so I just had to post this. It's a link I got from my friend Meg who apparently got it from her boyfriends livejournal or something.

Yeah so you may have noticed that I don't really blog anymore. I'll probably keep it around as a journal for cool stuff every now and again. But I doubt that will happen all that often. So at most check once a month, I don't think I'm really going to blog much more than that.

Ok so last night has got to be one of the loudest freak storms I've ever been in. It's the middle of summer and at around 5:20-5:30 AM this morning I woke up to the loudest thunder I have ever heard in my life. It was so loud that in my half asleep state I thought someone had bombed a part of Eugene near where I lived and actually waited a few minutes for the shock wave to hit me. Then I actually woke up the rest of the way and realized that that wasn't going to happen. Then I started thinking that maybe it was all in my imagination. At that point I heard another eardeffening boom of thunder as every car alarm in the area went of and my building even vibrated a little from the sound. I never had a chance to go outside and see the lightning, but apparently it was right on top of me since one of my neighbors was outside commenting on how a flash of lightning was right in our alleyway. Seeing as how it was 5:30 in the morning and the noise was actually shaking my apartment building I was getting a little freaked out. Normally I love thunder and lightning, however usually it's miles away, not right on top of me. It eventually started raining and hailing for 20 minutes or so and then it all just stopped. It was really odd. However I'm glad it did stop 'cuz no one on earth could have possibly slept through that.

Dude so Jeromy and I were comming back from buying me some stuff for my halloween costume this year and we saw this awesomly painted car. Unforutnately it's a crappy car to begin with so the repaint made it much better. So without further adu (did I even spell that right?) I give you the Zeldamobile:

Yeah I know it's been a while since I posted anything here. Been busy with school and lazy with everything else. That and I would keep forgetting to post when I had something to say. I also sprained a back muscle last week too so I've been speninding as much time on my back as possible to help it heal. It kinda sucks. After a while TV gets really boring. Well ok after a very short while tv gets very boring.

So I've actually managed to pull myself away from my Ragnarok addiction recently and started a Zelda addiciton instead. I really need to finish playing through Wind Waker before more Final Fantasy games come out. I also really need to finish reading the 10th book in the Wheel of Time. I started it, barely, and then stoped again. I'll probably force myself to read it more when I'm done with Zelda. Ah the joys of having too much stuff to do and being too lazy to do most of it.

Yeah so I've been playing Raganarok Online a lot recently. Mostly because I was really close to becomming an Assassin, which is cool. The new guild we have also has a lot of really fun and active members too. We're actually all on and the same time, or at leat most of us. I mean 11 out of 16 guild members on at one time is almost unheard of in RO. It's very cool. We actually go out and do stuff together too that isn't a guild event. It's quite a bit different from the previous guild I was in. Granted that one was disbanded and the new one is a mix of old and new members. We're meshing quite well actually.

Ok so we did our usual screenie for each event thing. Here are the guild members getting ready to take over the underwater castle.

Ok so I haven't blogged in a while, but I have an actual excuse this time. I was on vacation with my family at the beach and there were no computers. It was kind a fun vacation too. We were celebrating my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary and so we had an actual family reunion of a sorts for a week. Not everyone was there at the same time but over the course of the week everyone showed up eventually.

We stayed in a place called Pajaro Dunes. It wasn't too bad if you don't mind dead jellyfish all over the beach. For some reason during this time of year a certain kind of jellyfish like to beach themselves. Really strange, and makes it hard to walk on the beach.

Overall it was fun though, we went to Santa Cruz and Carmel and Monteray. We even had nice jucy famly gossip to share amongst ourselves. It was good. And it was nice to be able to go back to the beach, even though it was way too cold to swim in the ocean. Then again we wouldn't have anyways will all the dead jellyfish washing ashore.

The only bad thing was the crappy house we had to stay in. It had a great view of the beach with nice big windows, but there were no blinds or drapes or anything to speak of to cover them. So it was sun and glare all the time. Watching tv was difficult if not impossible with the glare, the evening sun was in our eyes at dinner. It sucked. That on top of crappy sound insulation. Actually there was none. You could hear the people in the next room as if they were in your own. Then to top it all off was the "creative wiring plan" that the house had. Basically that was the brochures way of nicely stating that whoever did the wiring sucked. It was really crappy wiring that didn't make any sense. The light switch for one light on one side of the room would be all the way on the other side of the room mixed with switches for the outside lights and the lights for the room next to it. It was so bad they actually had to label the light switches.

After all the crappyness was overlooked it wasn't so bad. We just focused on the fun stuff and it was all ok. So that was my vacation in brief. Time to go back to avoiding my homework.

Well I'm waiting for my class to start so I figured I would add another entry to my blog. I helped Sam and Beau on the house on saturday. I was sad I couldn't help anymore than I did, but it was still fun. I got to put primer on the ceiling and scrape wallpaper off the walls. The primer wasn't so bad except I had to wear a Tyvex suit over my jeans because I didn't have any old ones to wear. So I was Tyvex from Mars on saturday. The wallpaper was just a pain in the ass. It took me an hour to scrap of a 2 foot square section. Who ever owned the place before put layer upon layer of wallpaper on the walls, and all of it was stubborn. It really sucked.

Aside from that the weekend wasn't too bad. I finished my last Survey class today and Sam and I celebrated by getting Mochachinos from Ben and Jerrys. They were good. We then proceeded to play really laggy Ragnarok and eventually gave up. We figured it was laggy because we are sharing a cable modem connection with some Kazaa Whores upstairs. Apparently Sam has heard them ranting about the greatness of Kazaa. Since no one else on RO is getting lagged like we are, that means it's them and not the RO server.

I'm getting closer to being done with my flash interface for my Tools 2 class. Flash is kinda fun when you figure it out. I'll blog my spiffy Star Wars flash interface displaying my various works in Photoshop and Illustrator when I finish it.

Time for class now.

Yeah so I picked up Final Fantasy Origins the other day. I must admit that game is soooo fun to make fun of while playing. Then again I've been reading 8-Bit Theater for a while now so that makes it all the more fun. Sadly though they upgraded the graphics from 8-bit to 16-bit. I was actualy kinda hoping for the old school graphics, well, more old school than 16-bit. It's still fun though.

Yeah so I'm blogging about once a week now. Just forget about it most of the time, even when I do have something exciting to say. Such is life. I doubt many people are really reading this anyway, it's more of a journal for myself than anything else.

So I'm working on my final project for my Tools 2 class. It's basically a class where they teach you the basic programs for multimedia stuffs. Right now we are learning flash. My final project is to make a portfolio site. Mine is going to be Star Wars based (surprise surprise). It'll be cool. I'll have to post the link when I get it finished. So far I don't have all that much though. Still need some drawings for it. Putting it all together will be the easy part.

Hmm . . . not much you can do with a computer when it's burning a CD. At least, not much you can do if you want the CD to come out successfully. Which I do. So here I am babbling until it finishes. Eh, ok that's enough babble. I'm going to find something else to do now.

Yeah so the Matrix Reloaded was actually kinda dissapointing. I was expecting something as cool as the Matrix and it wasn't there. This movie tried to accomplish too much and be cool and it failed at both. Granted some of the scenes in it were exceptionally cool, but the connections between them were weak at best. Oh well. I am not a movie critic so don't take this advice to heart. It's just what I thought of it. See and judge it for yourself, just make sure you go to a matinee.

Woo! I get to see the Matrix tonight. It's the special sneak preview that the theater is showing. It's kinda funny actualy. The times are 10:45, 10:50, 10:55, and 11:00. So it's four simultaneous showings. Should be fun.
