Well ok so I'll briefly go over what I had blogged earlier. Had fun at a party, did an odd scavenger hunt, watched (the replay of) the ball drop in NY. Came home. Was going to say something to you but I can't remember what it was. So it must have not been that important.
Been working on a new background. It's Ferenan from Magna Carta. However since I know nothing about the game or the character and can't read the text I'm kinda stuck on the name part of it. Maybe you can help me with that.
*smashed internet into a million pieces* GRRRR . . . stupid thing ate my blog when I wasn't doing anything. The window was just sitting here while I was doing something else and it just dissapeared. That sucks. Well I have no desire to re-report on my evening so I'm not going to. I'll just continue where I left off, which happens to be at the end of my blogging unfortunately.

Yay!!! I got just what I wanted for Chritsmas. A PS2!!! I also ended up with a memory card and an extra controller. So I'm set now, I have DVDs (Monty Python and the Holy Grail and The Princess Bride), I have PS2 games (FFX, Tony Hawk 3, and Dark Cloud), and a carrying case for them all. Yay!!!. Twas a very successful Christmas this year for me.

Went to see Lord of the Rings yesterday and it kicked some serious @$$. At least in my opinion. Granted it did have it's little problems and story changes, but hey what movie comming from a book doesn't? I thought they did it rather well. Although it just further reasserted the fact that I wanna be an elf damn it! I don't know why but I have this thing for elves and wanting to be one. The fact that Legolas was a rather cool elf just emphasized that fact in me. Although I though it was really burly that for the short scene they did in the snow they actually used real snow. None of that fake crap that you see more often than not for scenes that short or on tv. Those actors were actually freezing their buts off in the snow. Hee hee, I also thought it was funny that Legolas was walking on the snow while the rest of them were waste-deep in it.
Anyways moving on. You know what? I don't care anymore. You're not getting your christmas present on Christmas so it shouldn't be a bad day for you. Besides you'll be back at school, that should make you happy, so you're getting them anyways.

I am most like http://yellow5.com/pokey. I am an educational children's cartoon. I have fun and learning in the arctic-circle, hoarding my coveted arctic-circle candy from the greedy Italians who try to snatch it away. Beware though, as Mr. Nutty seems to have a
bit of an alcohol problem.

La la la, not much going on in blog land. Then again it is also break/Christmas season. At least this weekend was fun. Had the usual game with the D&D group. Although I probably should just call them "The Group" now since we haven't actually played D&D in a long time. Star Wars yes, Shadowrun yes, Wheel of Time yes, Final Fantasy yes, (there is actually a Final Fantasy pencil/paper RPG out there on the web somewhere). No D&D though. I was supposed to DM D&D this weekend but Jeff showed up and we decided to do FF instead. Tis ok though, it was fun, even though all we did was level up and play silly games.
I had a chance to play Brawl though. That game is actually fun, I'm thinking of buying the set of cards and possibly the Cat Fight expansion. That would be cool.
One thing that Randy had that was cool was a program called "Hero Machine." It allows you to create fantasy or superhero characters as in how they look type of thing. Kinda a character portrate type of thing. I used it to creat an image of my FF character who is a Werewolf Dragoon. Hee hee, the jump ability completely rocks. With a spear in hand I do ((1d12+11)x2)x2 which is a lot of damage for a single weapon attack. I'm even imune to attacks while in the air.
I also got to play Super Smash Bros. Melee on Randy's new Gamecube. Man that game is awesome. There are a ton of characters and maps and new moves and whatnot. I can even change Links (the character I always use) clothing to a cool black color now as well as the the other color choices. I'm not all that thrilled about some of the maps though. They have their little challenges that normally wouldn't bother me much except for a few maps.
One thing that surprised me was the size of the game discs for the Gamecube. They're like minidiscs. They're not your normal sized cd like you would think. They're very small and . . . well . . . small.
All in all it was a fun weekend though. Got all my christmas shopping done though so I'm happy about that. Although I have work tomorrow, ick. I don't want to go to work, I wanna stay home and veg in front of nothing or a good book. I don't want to answer phones all day and have to deal with truckers who need directions and such. Oh well, it's money.
On the plus side I got the Sword in the Stone on DVD today, yay! (Yeah, yeah, I know a lot of you think Disney is evil, but I like this movie, leave me alone).
Well I should probably go now. Gotta catch up on . . . something before eating dinner and doing whatnot.
Oh yeah, one other thing. Odd quote by me from a conversation last night. For some reason it seemed profound at the time so I thought I would share it.

The ice climbers map is constantly scrolling up so you have to concentrate on moving up as well as attacking people so you don't get as many kills in. And I absolutely hate Samus's second map that's in Brinstar supposidly. Kraid is in the background and he swipes at you and ends up rotating the map. See you're basically on a big chunk of land that can spin around in circles so everytime Kraid hits it you can easily be knocked off or get stuck in a position where you can't reach anyone (as I was once. I got stuck on this little piece of land under the map so I couldn't go anywhere without dying. It sucked). It's also hard to see people on that map so I generally don't like it. Some of the maps are fun though.

Although, one thing that sucks, you still have a few of your friends from school to hang out with over break. Me, I got nothing. AJ has school and is wrapped up in christmas plays and whatnot so I never get to see her. Chris has finals until the end of next week. Jen is still across the country. And that leaves me with . . . well work is what it leaves me with. Not a whole lot of excitement going on except for the occasional internet conversation with someone from another state. This sucks.

Yay! I finished Squirrelman II at work today. Granted it isn't typed or edited yet so it'll still be a while before I finally get it up on the web but at least it's done. Thats the hard part, at least for me anyways.

OK, so here I am at work (although work will be over by the time I get around to blogging this) bored out of my mind with nothing to do. How did this happend you ask? Well it all started with an a assault (namely a phone call) on me at 12pm when I was just waking up. (Thats 12pm yesterday). On the other end of the line was my mom and Patty (HR for the company I'm working for) asking me to be temporary receptionist at AMM (American Moulding and Millwork, they make wood furniture. It's where I worked all summer only I was out in the plant not the office). So silly me agrees. But what they hey, it's only one and a half weeks at $9-$10 an hour and I need the money (stupid car). However a lot of bordem is involved unless people give me stuff to do.
On the plus side I now have an idea for Squirrelman 3. And if I'm lucky I can spend the more boring parts of the day finisheing SQ2 and starting SQ3. (FYI I have now shortened Squirrelman to SQ because . . . well . . . SM might make people think Secret of Mana eventhough taht usually SOM. I want to eliminate any confusion. SQ sounds better anyways).
