Welp, I can't really say if my luck is getting any better or any worse. I've got a couple of places that want to interview me this week. Unfortunately, one of them sounds like it's being run by the Prospective Boss from Hell(tm). He wants to drill me and give me tests to make sure I'm the absolute best candidate and that I know every bit of layout and webdesign software ever created by man inside and out and that I can multi-task and do a thousand different things at once because he can only afford to hire one person, not the 5 people he would need to hire to cover all of the jobs he has for me to do. (He also told me that if I didn't cut it, that he had a pool of at least 300 other workers to chose from, thanks to the bad economy and to the fact that graphic design schools are as common around here as potholes in Springtime.) Gee... I wonder what my chances are? Lesseee... It's been about 4 years since I last worked in the printing industry. I've yet to touch InDesign... Still can't seem to wrap my brain around Dreamweaver MX...Hmmm... I seem to be less than perfect. Guess I'm fucked.

Oh well. I still have a month and a few days to find something before the lease in my St. Cloud apartment is up and I'm forced to move in with my parents on a (relatively) permanent basis. (Let's hope something turns up, shall we?)

To help allay my current money trubba, I've placed a number of things up for sale on ebay. The biggest-ticket item happens to be my Lady Chris Lightfellow armor, which I'm loathe to sell (seeing as how I only got to wear it for a grand total of 20 minutes) but which takes up a lot of space and...well... let's face it, it's the kind of costume you want to wear to a big West Coast con where you'll get the most attention. (I had been planning to attend such a con when I began the costume. This was, of course, before my life crumbled.) I'm hoping that by selling this costume, that it will at least get some exposure and be enjoyed by people; if it stays with me, it'll probably be sitting in a dark, dank corner of my parent's basement for however the hell many years it takes for me to get a job and get the hell out of here.

Oh, I've also relisted my Lady Yuna Nirvana Staff Head It's 50 bucks, people. I'm not going any lower than that. It took ten hours to make and an ungodly amount of effort to paint. (More effort than what goes into most gunblades these days, and people seem more than willing to plunk down hundreds of dollars for those.) Come on, people, help me out here.

I've got two more pages of Elder Star inked, but God only knows when I'll find the time this week to color them. (Or if.) Keep your fingers crossed.
