Boy, it's been a long time since I updated. I've posted three more outfits to my Cosplay Gallery, and I've finished posting the beta version of my latest non-cosplay-related stress-relief project, The Naruto Thumbnail Theater (If anyone knows where I can get my hands on a set of decent series scripts that go past episode 5, I would appreciate it. Otherwise this is going to be an extremely short and extremely neglected webfeature. In other words, it's going to become a lot like my OTHER webfeatures. -_-) Hope y'all had a nice weekend, folks!

Sorry. I know I promised that (after receiving a generous paypal donation that I put towards my bandwidth) that my website would never again blink out towards the end of the month. So why is it down? Welp, not knowing the cause of the problem, I logged into my webserver control panel and checked my pagestats. It turns out that, during April, my site received double the traffic it usually handles in the course of a month. Most of that traffic consisted of a one-day spike which (I believe) was caused by my being linked to from leenks.com (which, upon cursory investigation, appears to be one of those "submit-links" sites much like fark.com, where geeks highlight links which might be of interest to other geeks (ie: boobies links, articles which poke fun at still more geeks, etc.) In any case, I'm not sure what I should be more upset about- the fact that the extra traffic farked up my site, or the fact that my site was submitted under the tagline of: "Geeks are at it again... making armor this time." Yeah, well....I'm a geek, but at least I'm doing something CONSTRUCTIVE, instead of looking at surreptitious photos of schoolgirl crotches, like the kind they have littering the mainpage of leenks.com (Note: leenks.com is prooooob'ly not one of those sites that are whatchacall "safe for work." Unless you work from home. Like me. Whee.)
Not that I'm the kind of person who WOULD look at NSFW sites, even though I'm largely free to indulge in that sort of thing... if I want to....
Ahem.
So then, it looks as if you'll just have to wait until May 1 rolls around before you can view any of my new and reposted stuff. In the meantime, feel free to amuse yourselves by looking at Google's new satellite mapping site. (Granted, you'll probably won't be able to say "I can see my house from here!" unless you live in a major metropolitan area, but it's still pretty interesting, in a creepy, Big-Brother-is-Watching sort of way.... And yes, I CAN see my house from space - although it was a bit tough to find since most of these satellite photos were obviously made before the monstrous juggernaut of housing and road construction which rolled through this area recently, crushing every recognizable landmark in its wake. Sigh.)

I finally managed to find a fabric that is even more evil than vinyl. Leather, baby. Topstitching it by hand wouldn't be so bad if I didn't need the strength of a gorilla to push a needle through it. Ugh. Never again.
You'll be pleased to know that I've finally managed to finish the recoding and reposting of my Nadesico Thumbnail Theater (Actually, Kevin's Nadesico Thumbnail Theater.) It should be more Firefox -friendly now. I've also started work on another, similarly-themed webfeature based on some ninja anime which...well... seems to be mildly popular these days... I'll try to add to it when I can (although I'll need to find more online episode scripts if I'm to make it past eppy #5...) I've got other, art related things I have to work on as well in my spare time...which I seem to have less of these days...(which is sort of a good thing)...(AND a bad thing)...
