I'm at AnimeIowa (which is probably news to most of you seeing as how this is the first time I've mentioned my going. ) My brain is fried and I can't form any form of coherent sentence at this point (due to the long trip, not due to my doing anything fun. Hopefully that will change...soon.)

Yeah, my website's down again (man, what happened to the extra bandwidth I thought I bought? That got sucked up real fast.)Oh, and I've a question: does anybody know how to get a generic 15 slot digital media card reader to read Smartmedia brand memory cards? Because I've no fuggin' clue. (Neither do the people I bought it from. Gah.)

Computer update.
I still haven't gotten around to getting a properly-sized harddrive installed on my computer. Regardless, I've got the computer up and working. To my dismay, I've discovered that half my old software has become instantly obsolete, as has my WACOM tablet and my digital media card reader. This is, of course, all Windows XP's fault. (You'll notice, if you turn the letters "XP" on their side, you have an image of a frustrated person sticking their tongue out. That's how I look right now.) Needless to say, I'm farked if I can't get either of these devices to work. My attempts to alleviate the situation have been less than successful; I tore up half the basement looking for a serial-to-USB cable converter which I KNOW I bought years ago and which I can't seem to find because it was eaten by the demons who live in the water tank or something, and the generic media card reader I bought on ebay that has slots that can read 15 different types of media cards isn't working for me because I can't figure out which of the damn slots MY brand of card goes in. (I guess it was asking too much of the Grade Z electronics store I bought it from to INCLUDE SOME FREAKING DIRECTIONS.) Sigh. So, anyway, that's how the situation currently stands. And that's why I'm in a much fouler mood than usual (if such a thing is even possible.)
