Crisis. Today's trip to the dentist ended with the rather stunning (albeit none too surprising) revelation that in order to fix everything in my mouth that needs fixing, it's going to cost me a shitload of money. (The first "wave" of repairs alone is going to cost me 900 dollars. Which I'll need by a week from next Thursday.)

Expect to see half-assed scheme to drum myself up some money rearing its head soon.

No whining today. Instead, I've actually got some new material to post. Not MY material, mind you. Rather, it's the last two parts of guestwriter Kevin's Nadesico Movie Thumbnail Theatre. This officially closes the chapter on everything Nadesico TT-related for all time. Enjoy.

Okay, I lied about there not being any whining today. I've got a chipped tooth, so I've got to go and see the dentist, which isn't something I LIKE to do even during the most prosperous of times, (much less during times of extreme depravation such as this). So you can expect at some point in the future, that I shall be unfurling another half-assed scheme to drum myself up some money (most likely in the form of an online art auction or something along those lines.) Expect a copious amount of shameless begging to go along with aforementioned half-assed scheme. (Hey, I'm an internet artist. Shameless begging is coin of the realm for this line of *coff* work.)

So please, stay tuned, everybody...

For those of you keeping up with my current situation: My interlude of joblessness has almost hit the four month mark. (Which for most people, marks the watershed moment when their savings begin to run dry, their bills begin to pile up, and they find themselves desperately pursuing any path which might have even the slightest chance of leading to their becoming gainfully employed --and thus, able to re-enter society-- once again.) As such, I found myself this past week, journeying down the labyrinthine byways of St. Cloud's Biggest Industrial Park, searching for a silk-screening shop which apparently only exists in some alternate dimension,--one which, unfortunately, is not accessible from any highway known to man. (One which is located on 21st avenue, which is apparently lurking somewhere in the barren patch of ground between 18th and 23rd avenues.) Since I don't have the power to warp time and space or to open up cleverly hidden dimensional portals to streets that don't exist, I am sad to report that I could not apply for the job which aforementioned silk-screening shop had been advertising. (And no, I can't just call them and ask for their location, because they had thoughtfully written "no phone calls" in the description line of their job listing. Wankers.)

I don't care. I don't even wanna work for 'em anymore...

*Sigh*

I am going to try and have two more pages of Elder Star finished by next Monday's update, as I know I've been slacking on that project lately. I've also been slacking on my Hamlet comic, so I've begun playing catch-up on that as well.

Mmmm...ketch-up......
