You may have noticed things have gotten a little...um...blacker around here. That's because I decided the 'blog was in need of a new look. (I myself also was in need of a place where I could display some dark new gothic-type artwork I had recently inked in a fit of joblessness-induced melancholy. So here we are.)

*Sigh*. I am NOT happy. I missed the last two episodes of Scryed at anime club tonight. Why? Because our anime club president failed to follow the cardinal commandment that all anime club presidents must live by, which is "Thou Shalt Not Fuck Up the Viewing Schedule". Normally, Scryed gets shown at the end of the evening, but for some reason, (presumably because this was our last club meeting before summer break and she just wanted to get the damn series over with,) our illustrious president had decided to show it first. Which resulted in my coming into club too late to catch it. Now, normally, I wouldn't be too put out by the missing of a couple of episodes, but IT WAS THE FUCKING SEASON FINALE FOR CRIPES SAKE!!!!! A season finale to a series of which I was a rabid fan. (And to which SHE KNEW I was a rabid fan.) At least if she were going to pull something like this, she could've had the courtesy to come up to me after club last week and say something along the lines of "Hey, you know that one series you've been thoroughly engrossed in for the past 10 weeks and which you've been nagging to have us show on on a rushed timetable just so we could get all the episodes in before summer break? Well, you might want to come in early next week because instead of showing it at 10:00 at night like we usually do, we're going to show it at 6." I mean, how hard would that have been?.... ...Christ...

I mean, it's no big deal... A friend of mine has Scryed on disc so I'll be able to see the season finale this weekend. It's just.... I dunno... There are times when I feel noone around here gives a crap about me and things like this just tend to confirm that suspicion. I'm probably blowing this all out of proportion, thanks to my current life situation turning my brain into an out-of-control express-train of emotion and all. I'm sure I'll get over it once I find a job and get my life back on track.

Speaking of getting things back on track, I'm sure you probably noticed that Elder Star was on hiatus this week. That's because I hadn't finished coloring the page yet. I shouldn't have any problem getting it ready by next week, though.

*Ahhh* I feel better now that I've vented a little. Thank you Magic Weblog...
