Miko-san!! There was a Hiei bashing in WA conference!! He was called a sullen dwarf!!! We need a counter-arguement!!!!!!
Speaking of Hiei... I can't wait for the vol.13 of Hunter x Hunter. The nice people in Korea are translating it in Korean, so now I can understand what's going on!! ^O^
The bad thing is that the new vol. comes out about 1~2 months later than Japanese one. =( But it's ok.
Read "Paradise Kiss" by Yawaza Ai recently. Very good!!! It's more adult-themed than "My Neighborhood Story", though. Thinking about collecting "Paradise Kiss". Already ordered the whole set of "My Neighborhood Story". ^_^
Also read "Let's meet in weekend" (direct translation from korean title) by Udo Shinohara. Interesting... Debating if I should get the rest of the series (it ended at vol.5!!) or just rent them out. Probably just rent them out when I go back home for spring break...

Had an interview at Tufts yesterday. All day interview that lasted from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Still tired. X_X
The inteview wasn't bad. I had two interviews, and the second interviewer asked randomly unexpected/hard questions like
What's sympathy?
What's empathy?
What's philosophy?
What's ethics, and what's moral?
along with medicine-related questions such as
Do you know what euthanasia is and what's your opinions on it?
He also asked me about this program that exchanges dirty needles with clean needles for drug users (what this program would accomplish, etc), and of course, why I wanted to go to medical school.
oh, yeah, he also asked me "Are you compassionate?" and "Are you nervous?" ^_^;;;;
I think I did ok. I answered all of his questions without stumbling much. His questions were unexpected, but they were not issues that I never thought about before, so it wasn't too bad. He was actually nice towards the end, and told me that he wanted to see how I would respond when I was asked unexpected questions.
Anyhow, so that's over. This weekend is a long weekend because of the President's Day. ^O^ I'll be going home on Friday, and have another interview at Robert Wood Johnson (it's one of two NJ state schools), and come back on Tuesday night.
I think I like Tufts. The other interviewees were nice. The dean of admission seemed confident in his school, and the dean of students was funny. ^_^
One thing is that the dean of admission scared all of us with the debt we would accumulate by the end of the medical school. Tufts is one of the more pricey schools in terms of tuition because they do not have their own hospital, which means no additional source of income(?) other than tuition. Accoding to the nice chart that he provided us, we'll be paying about 3700 dollars per month for 10 years after residency, if we were to self-finance the medical school. That means that we would be living on $2000/month if the salary was $100,000/year. Not exactly the rich life that we would envision for a doctor. But I think I can live with that. =)

I'm so in love with Hyesung of Shinhwa. (Did I just say that? OMG!!!!! I've turned into a fangirl!!!!!!!! Someone!!! Please!!!! Hit some sense into my fuzzy brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) He was SOOOOOOO cute when he was younger. Now, he's more manly and hot (I really don't want to use this word, but I don't know what else to use.... -_-;;;)
I think I need a boyfriend. sigh. It doesn't help that tomorrow is Valentine's Day.
Oh, that reminds me....
Happy Valentine's Day to all who reads my pitas!! (since only a few people who are dear to me read this...I think. ^_^)

Apparently, pitas was on crack and didn't register my last entry. Sigh...
I've been really bad at keeping in touch with people.. ^_^;; Been a bit busy with the start of school and all. This semester looks not too bad so far. I'm taking only three classes, so it shouldn't be too bad. And only one lab!!! ^O^ I haven't done the "one lab per semester" since my first semester at college... -_-;; I was going to take two labs and do a bio minor, but I didn't get into the 300-level bio class that I was waitlisted, and I didn't like any of the other 300-level bio classes. So, I decided to drop the bio minor. =P
So what am I doing with the "free" time? I'm taking two PE classes for fun!! ^O^ I have enough PE credits for graduation, but I decided to take some classes that I've been wanting to. I signed up for Kung Fu and Ski~~~~ They are both fun. I've learned a few stances of Kung Fu so far. I've tried to practice those on Kitsu, who's taking self-defence, but she runs away saying that self-defence is not meant to be against martial arts. Oh, come on, it's not like I can deal any damage or anything.
-----------------------
The other day, I had a weird dream involving Shinhwa and a rabid dog and Harry Potter. I was taking Shinhwa members (minus Eric and Andy) to somewhere, and then got bitten by a rabid don on the thigh. The dog bit me so deep, it was dripping my blood from its fangs. The doctor told me that there was poison in its fangs (let's not question the rationality of all of these.. it's a dream... ^_^;;;), so they might have to amputate my leg/foot. It was swallon in red and blue.... But then, suddenly the one who was bitten was Harry, and Ginny was running away crying at the news that they might have to cut Harry's foot off.
So, what do you think? Kristin-san, do you think that it might have to do anything with the relationship between Sirius and Harry? =P
