Hectic life at the end of the semester...

Final is here again. I can't believe that the whole semester is almost over. And of course, there's a ton of workload coming my way with the end of the semester.
I have a test and a 5-7 page paper due on Monday, which is in about 56 hours. That's scary now that I said it outloud. -_-;;;;;
Of course, if I started all of these things way before, like a proper college student "shouldn't" do, it would be no problem now. But I have yet to finish reading all these books for the paper. I have a vague idea of what to write, but I don't have a set thesis yet. And there's always those 5 chapters of bio textbook to read....
So what did I do today? I studied a little. A little. Just a bit.
I also played Vargant Story (I really like it!!) and went on to the fanfiction.net trying to find a good Inuyasha story, especially the one with Sesshoumaru as the main character. Didn't find much. -_-;;;
There were some good humorous stories (all by one author), but others were...... Also read some Buffy fanfics.... Got disturbed so much by this Buffy/Harry Potter crossover where Harry and Dawn flirted with each other. -_-;;;;;;;;;; As someone who hates Dawn, it was disturbing and annoying at the same time. Told all about the bad fanfics that I read today to Kitsu, thereby messing her mind up as well. =P
Oh, yeah. It snowed today. The first snow of the winter, I guess. But I don't really like snow. Although it was pretty. But I hate it when it melts. It becomes all yucky and muddy and salt-y......
I hope my car is ok. There's a little hole(?) by one of the front lights... I hope water didn't get in and mess up with the electricity to make it blow up the next time I start the car.... Maybe I'll try to start the car tomorrow. If it does blow up, I don't have to write the paper and study for the test!!! ^O^

As for some update on my life so far...
There was a bit of happening regarding the anime club. It ended well, but it was very stressful for me. Thank you so much, Kitsune and Te-chan for being there with me at the time!
Wellesley News is getting BAD. So bad that I don't even pick it up to read anymore. It's getting bashed on community for its inconsiderate and non-accurate articles. Seriosly, what happened to all the better writers? Did they all graduate? If they did, why didn't they train any capable people before?
I guess that's it, except work work and work. At least I got to go out a lot more this semester, which was good! =)

It's a new obsession. I'm too deep into them, I'm afraid of becoming a groopie for the first time in my life. I never fell for any type of entertainer before!!!!!!!
But they are so cool. *hearts*
It's a Korean group consisted of 6 guys. (they are five right now because one of them went back to the US to attend college - so he didn't participated in the 4th album - but he's coming back for the next album) I first saw their music video when it first came out, but it didn't attract much of my attention. They looked too similar to other numerous Korean teeny-booper type groups.
BUT.
My friend in Korea used to have a fan page dedicated to Laruku (especially Hyde). When I visited her page over the summer, it was changed into Shinhwa page. She had a section where she wrote her afterthoughts and such after she watched the TV programs that Shinhwa appeared...
That was the beginning.....
I watched one clip of their performance of one of the latest songs, and thus started my obsession with Shinhwa. They dance so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their main image also changed so much since their first two albums. From the third album, their image is more of "cool, sexy(!?) men" rather than "pretty girly looking boys", which suits my taste better. I still don't like their pictures/perf. of the first two albums... The hairs.. *shudder*
The fact that they are about my age also helps. At least I'm not lusting(!?) after younger boys.... ^_^;;;;
oh, and they are soo amusing in the show programs..... They amuse themselves very well, it's fun to watch. =P
Halloween and Gambling

Halloween came and Halloween went. I didn't go trick or treating, but I participated Campus-wide trick or treating as a treasurer of my dorm. =)
The Halloween party was fun. I got a black cloak thing which I had a lot of fun wearing.
I went over to Te-chan's house yesterday and learned how to play Majong. I won all three games!!! ^O^
yeah, yeah, the rule was simple, but it was my first time~ =P When I go back home, I'm going to bring the set that my parents have. My new goal is to become a Majong goddess!! (really? ^_^;;;)
oh, Miko-san, K-san, I got into New Jersey Medical School!!! ^O^
I was very worried that I wouldn't get into any med school, but now I'm very happy. I'm still waiting for other schools' replies, but at least I have one place to go after I graduate!!! =P

Vampire Hunter D and Black and White!.. and books.
I went to see the new Vampire Hunter D movie at Brattle theater yesterday. The graphic was wonderful. But the voices!!!! The voices!!!!! It was dubbed in English, and.... what can I say? T_T
Even more horrifying fact is that the original soundtrack is in English, and it will have Japanese subtitles when it's released in Japan!!! Why? Oh, why didn't they just do it in Japanese?
The male characters' voices were ok, but the female characters....... -_-;;;; I didn't like D's voice, either.
Now I don't think I want to own it when it comes out.
As for the graphic, the backgrounds were great. So beautiful. But I didn't really like the character designs.... I don't know.. they are just not my type. I don't really like Amano Yoshitaka's drawings, so..... But I liked the Vampire there. He was cool and nice to the woman he loved. ^_^ He was my fav. character in the movie. Now I want to read the last volume of the novel series (this movie was based on the 5th volume among 6 volumes of the novel series of Vampire Hunter D) since it seems that time progressed a lot through each volume. But I don't like the author's writing styles, and female characters. They seem to be generally hopeless and typical "damsels in distress" types..... -_-;;;
For another topic, I played Black and White game. It's interesting. ^_^ But for some reason, it's really slow on Kitsu's computer. I don't know if the game just requires a very fast computer... I would like to buy it, but if it's that slow, I'm going to die of frustration before I finish the game. But it's still interesting. Maybe I'll wait until I get a new computer to buy the game.
I also finished "Wayfarere's Redemption" last night. It has been an interesting read.. but I still don't like any of the major characters. The story line is still interesting, though.
One thing that I don't like about the book is that all the love in the story doesn't have adequate explanation/support. They all seem to fall in love at first sight, just because the other person is handsome/beautiful. For example, the main couple haven't even had a chance to talk for more than 10 min before they confessed the undying love for each other, and now they say that they live for each other. I just don't understand that.... But if I ignore them, it's pretty interesting.

Forgot to talk about some things.
The Con.
It was ok. I didn't expect it to be big anyway. and I ended up spending lots of money regardless of its size. -_-;; I got Esca movie soundtrack. Yoko Kanno's music is good!!!!! Got some things for K-san and Miko-san. ^_^ Met Honya-san there!!!!! All three of us (Te-chan, Kitsu and I) were so distracted by other anime goodies, honya-san had to wave really closely to Te-chan's eyes to get our attention. ^_^;;; I got chobits vol.3 and Angelic Layer vol.5. Chobits came with a cute poster card holder! ^_T <- half rejoicing, half crying face (it was expensive!!!)
I was surprised to see AL ended in vol.5, though. I guess clamp felt guilty about dragging X so much? =P I saw lots of cute Inuyasha goodies as well. But NOOOOO sesshoumaru!!!!!!! ;_; Why, oh, why? I would have loved it if they had a Sesshoumaru UFO doll.... Wanted to get a DiGiCharat artbook, but failed to find any. Actually, I found one, but it was about $100.... ;_; Got a cute poster of Piyoco with her three minions instaed. Very cute. Emits the will for world conquest. ^^ Tried to persuade Kitsu to buy the Amano Yoshitaka artbook set which was $300, but she stood firm against the temptation. Went around all the sci-fi tables looking for a GOOD spike picture. Didn't find any. ;_; They had a pretty good group picture from the new season of Buffy, but I can't stand Dawn and Railey.. I guess... that's about it?

essays, essays, and more essays!!!! Why do I procrastinate so much? T_T Now I'm getting into another cycle of stress... I don't know why I keep repeating this cycle. I knew that I would face this, and yet I went out all day yesterday... -_-;;;; I borrowed "The Wayfarer Redemption" by Sara Douglas from a friend. already finished about a third of the book. -_-;;; (and yet I cry that I don't have enough time to finish my work)
it's interesting. some of the characters are annoying, but they are generally ok. There's no particularly annoying character (like Doby and Prof. Lockheart in the second book of Harry Potter - they keep me from re-reading the vol.2), and the story is interesting. ^_^

Going to Boston con tomorrow. Very excited!! It's the first con that I've ever been. =) I hope they have lots of goodies, but the con being in Boston, I wonder.... Tomorrow is Had of Charlse as well... there are going to be tons of people in Boston tomorrow.. -_-;;;; I wanna get Coge Donbo's artbook!
