Holmes was good..... Very good..... Now I might have to buy DVDs when they come out. Meichan, you're an evil influence, and yet, I cannot blame you. Darn.
I don't care much about the storyline of "The Red Headed League", but I'd like to watch the scene where Holmes jumps over the couch to get Watson over and over and over and over and over again. =D
My impression on Holmes:
He was a lot more active that I imagined. The whole setting was more active than I imagined. I was thinking more of a gloomy English weather and dark raining day with Holmes playing the violin smoking whatever drug he does. But then, I know that Holmes gets really active when he's on case, so I guess I shouldn't complain. It was good, after all.
My impression on Holmes and Watson were also a little different from what my impression from the books. I know that Watson gets abused in TV series as well, but it seems that they are more on equal terms than in books. Watson retorts more. heh.
Well, I have yet to see Holmes commanding Watson to stop the horses. =P

Other than the goodness of Holmes, this week is hell. Too many things due in a couple of days. I'm going back to read more chem research papers. *pajtt*

Finally finished my art history paper around noon. Could have finished earlier, but I chose to sleep at 6am because I couldn't think anymore. I got up around 9am and finished the paper.
Of course, I could have finished much earlier if I had started the paper when I first got the assignment. -_-;;
Now I'm sitting in the chem lab waiting for my lab instructor. Where did he go? I need to show him my data and seek advice!!! I wanna go back and sleep if he's not going to come back! *pajtt*
Delirious and wanting to read more of L. Hamilton's book on Anita Blake. I like Edward. He's kinda like Achmed in Rhapsody series. =D

Yes, I stole it from you, Miko-san, because I really like the sound!!!!!!
--------------------------
Today has been kinda weird day in the sense that I said things that I wanted to say and I heard things that the other person wanted to tell me. (vague, isn't it? ^_^;;)
I also said "Dammit, I pay $30,000 to go here and the least thing they can do is to provide a place to hang myself in my room!", and scared my friend away. hee hee.
I was just being ... weird? ... It's one of the common thread that people start in Community when they don't like something about Swellesley.
"We pay $30,000 to go here, and the least thing they can give us is..." thread. Those threads usually annoy me (when I happen to read them due to extreme boredom or no motivation to do work), so I just wanted to use it to say something ridiculous. =P
Still writing the rough draft of Art Histroy paper on the great hall of Winchester castle. I hope it writes itself while I'm pita-ing.

BTW, Mei-san, is Sherlock in the movies as good looking as I (or you) would envision him?
I first met Holmes in Korean version. Oddly enough, Korean translation of Holmes series is actually much easier to read through than Korean translation of Agatha Cristie mystery novels. I found out that it was opposite in case of original language version. Anyhow, I got both volumes of complete Holmes series (haven't finished going through them yet, although I have read all of his novels in Korean), and I LOOOOOOOOOOVE how you can just tell Holmes is British from the writing. I don't know what it is, but I can hear them talking in British accent while reading the book. *hearts*

It's not deathly hot anymore here. Thanks to all who offered their advice. =)
Now, it's deathly cold. Actually, omit "deathly." But it's now as cold as winter. In late April. -_-;;;
Margaret Cho came yesterday, so I went to see her. The show started at 8pm, the door opened at 7pm, and Rosanna and I went around 7:15pm to find out that about half of the alumnai hall was already full. It was fun, though. Her jokes involved more crude subjects than I expected, though.
There was also a Q&A session where a couple of people asked really stupid questions.
Example (not her exact wording): There are a lot of conflicts outside Wellesley as well as inside Wellesley. What do you suggest for us to solve these conflicts through being more supportive of each other?
Me and many other people (probably including Margaret Cho): HUH?
Margaret Cho: hm........ *silence* Can you give me some examples of the conflicts?
The girl: err.. no.
-------------------------------
I also got to see a friend who graudated last year. She asked me how my senior year was going, and I said,
"Well, I have time to have mental breakdowns." ^_^;;

It is deathly hot in Swellesley.
Correction: It is deathly hot in my room in Swellesley. Please parden me while I degenerate into a goo on the floor.

I read Korean version of Chobits vol.4! I like it!! They did a pretty good job in keeping the quality of the paper of manga, so I was happy. Besides, now that I understand what's going on, I like the series more. It seems that Clamp finally decided to go back to their Tokyo Babylon type stories. *hearts!*

Miko-san, thanks for introducing me to this song!! I really like it. It's fun. =D
"Can you do it babe, can you do it babe~"
K-san, I like the title O-bunny-chama. =D
Big hugs to all my friends. Thank you so much for the encouragement/scold/etc. I guess I don't have a bipolar disorder after all. ^_^;;; It's nice to know that it's normal to feel that way sometimes. I think I also need to work on myself.. I tend to expect too much from people and then get easily disappointed....

About the previous entry... Thursday, April 18, 2002 08:23 p.m.
I know it sounds really ungrateful. It will most likely upset my friends..... But that's how I feel sometimes, and for me, talking about it really helps me to get out of that mood, so..... you can ignore the previous entry. ^_^
If my excuse for such feeling would help de-upsetting(?) those important people in my life, I would make an excuse about why I feel that I don't have any attachment in world.
I think it's also partly because I don't see myself as valuable to be indispensible (sp?). Sometimes I get really tired of living, and I just think that it wouldn't matter much if I exist or not. If I'm so tired from trying to live and I don't see any "bright" future, why live?
Maybe I'm just begging for sympathy by posting this here. I'm so pathetic like that.

Getting tired of human relationship..... Thursday, April 18, 2002 02:05 p.m.
I'm sorry if people who are my friends are offended by this comment... I DO value your friendship. Really!!! I'm just getting tired of little conflicts that arise from human contact. Call me lazy and whatnot, but that's how I feel.
I don't have any strong attachment in this world. I love my family and my friends, but that is just enough to prevent me from commiting suicide. But if I were to die, I don't think I will have resentment at dying early (as long as it's quick and painless. =P).

oh, I forgot.... I watched Oscar last Sunday, and I spotted Elija Wood on the red carpet. I know that a lot of people were saying how cute he was, but I never thought much of him in the Lord of the Rings movie.
BUT.
OMG. He was CUTE in that tux!!!!!!!!!

Now I have a cute little ninja boy in my room!!! ^O^
It's a little doll made of papers. I got it in the shop by Kotobukiya. So cute!!!!
----------------------------
My current fav. manga - "Kazehi Karu" by Watanabe Taeko.
It's about Shinsengumi!! It's about this girl who disguised herself as a man and enrolled in shinsengumi for the revenge of her father and brother. She develops love for Souji. ^_^
It's really cute and the story is entertaining. The mangaka does very thorough research about the actual history, so it makes the story even more interesting. And Saitou is sooo cute!!!!!!! *giggle* He's not really like Saitou from RK, but he's still desirable (?!). I read up to vol.6, and can't wait for the 7th volume!!!

Like everyone else (except Te-chan and Mei-san..), I have been sucked into a blackhole. A blackhole named neopets. It's a site that lets you create an online pet. The pet itself doesn't really require much care (unlike tamagochi stuff), but the games that they have on their sites are addicting!!! The fact that you get neopoints to spend on the site from the games doesn't help getting rid of the addiction. -_-;;;
BTW, this is what my neopet, Mirinae, looks like. ^_^
oh, I went to sasuga yesterday. Got vol.25 of Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru~~~~ *heart* Kristin-san, honya-san asked about you. I told him that you have been eaten. =P
