JOHN MAYER!!!

I'm sorry Orlando, but my craziness for you has just been replaced by my absolute craze about JOHN MAYER! *hehe*

I went to his concert last night...

......

He was TERRIFIC! Marvelous..! I love that sexy voice *singing and talking voice is just the same.. SEKUSHI!!!*, that cool, laid-back attitude, even those cute idiotic expressions when he's playing solo guitar.. OMG I just LOOOOOOOOVEEEEE himmm!!!!! *cries* I used to just *like* him.. but now I am head over heels with him.. he's just soo.. adorable! sigh... *reminiscing the concert moments*

Hmm.. Let's start the concert report from the beginning shall we? This is for you Ami, just like I promised ^-^ But I've only listened to his Room For Squares album, hence I only know songs from that album, and a few more from the ones I downloaded.. so gomen ne~, there will be a lot of song titles not mentioned ^^;;

I left home at about 0620pm, walked to Hyde Park and took a bus from there to Fox Studios. The traffic was jammed because at the same time there is a rugby match being played there *I think Rugby is almost like a religion here, everyone digs it!!* Kika, Ista, and I were getting a bit worried and so we got off the bus 1 or 2 stops before Fox Studios and walked there. The weather was as cold as hell!!! The three of us were freezing to death! Anw, we got into the front of Hordern Pavillion *the concert venue* and were shocked! The line was soooooooooooooo loooooooooooooong!!! We almost worried that we wouldn't be able to make it in time for the concert! But the line moved pretty quickly.. and before we knew it, we were inside the venue already ^__^

The concert started at 8pm.. the opening act was this band called LO-TEL. It's an Australian band I think, because lots of people seem to know their songs.. Well, they're not bad.. the songs were quite OK. They played for about 40 minutes.. and after that the crew started to set up the stage for John Mayer. I was busy finding my place, squished in here and there, because there were so many GIGANTIC people around! Those of you who've met me, you know my miniature size... I couldn't see a damn thing! Most of them were nice, they let me get in front of them, because in won't matter anyway, I wasn't even within their sight range ^^;; but most of the girls were being b**chy >_< There's this one girl. her boyfriend was so nice, giving me the way and pointed me into empty spaces I can go to.. but in the end, I decided that if I were to stay there, I would see striped tube top all the way through the concert, and so I tried to move back again.. and this girl, was saying things like "She got all the way to the front and now she's going back there again???" in that annoying tone.. and I was like.. "MYOB!!!" but of course, didn't say it out loud.. I'm just not that kind of person ^^;;

While I was trying to find the perfect spot.. the concert began! And I couldn't see a bloody thing!!! All I saw was this man's back! I didn't even know where John was, and didn't know which direction I should be looking. I was about to cry.. thinking I had wasted over $70 for nothing, but then God answered my prayer... suddenly everyone was so nice to me and letting me get in front of them so I can see... and by the end of the first song, I finally got a glimpse of him!! I almost cried tears of joy!! *sensitive girl here, folks! xD* BTW, I don't know the title of the first song ^^;; After the end of the first song, the guy next to me was kind enough to give me his space! From there I can definitely see the stage more clearly.. Of course a lot of standing on my toes *apa sih bahasa inggrisnya jinjit??* were needed, and I had to constantly look upwards and hurt my neck.. but it didn't matter at the time *still doesn't matter now, either xD* Finally I got to see him!! The 2nd song was Bigger than My Body, followed by My Stupid Mouth and 83. After that, he played two songs that I don't know.. and then.. No Such Thing! I love this song so I was singing while jumping up and down when he played it.. ^__^ Next was this song called Come Back to Bed, *I know because he said so, never heard of it before* during this song, he had a jam session with the band.. and did something cute! He pretended that he was having a fight with his girlfriend, so he was saying dialogues like "That's not true".. and then the girl's voice would be represented by the guitar! So he went on and on having a dialogue with his guitar.. It's funny how the guitar can actually produce very similar sounds to a girl's tone of voice when upset.. hahahha ^o^ After that 25 mins version of Come Back To Bed.. it was Your Body is a Wonderland!!! Kyahh!!! Sono Uta ga Daidaidaiiiiiisukiiiiiii!!! And hearing him singing it live was definitely more than just listening to it in the CD... he sounded even SEXIER live! I was melting inside when he performed this song.. especially the part when he sang "You tell me where to go and though I might leave to find it I'll never let your head hit the bed without my hand behind it.." Huaaaaaaaa!!! And also this part.. "Damn baby... you frustrate me..." Kyaaa I was about to die!!! And so are the girls around me I think ^^;;; all of them were yelling "John, you're f###ing HOT!!" hahaha, obviously that's what I thought too ^_~ Anw, after YBIAW, he sang one/two more songs which I've never heard of.. and after that, it was Why Georgia, with which he "ended" the concert. Of course, as we all know.. that's not really the end of it ^^;; Five minutes later he was back, doing an acoustic version of....... *again, I don't know the title of this song", followed by another song, that I also don't know ^^;; but this time, accompanied by the band.. the last song was 3x5.. And so the concert ended... All of the audiences were in disbelief when the lights were turned on.. I think they, like I did, were expecting a second encore.. because he hadn't played Back to You and Love Song For No One.. =( I really really really like Back To You.. that's why I was kinda disappointed.. but hey, he made it all up to me with such a great performance, what more can I say???

He wasn't really talkative, didn't talk much to the audience and everything, but I don't know.. somehow I still felt like I was still connected to him, despite the lack of communication.. and I think that was also what the rest of crowd! I just loved it when he jumped up the stage line to get closer to us.. and that very cute monkey-ish expressions he made when he was doing solo guitar... aaaa sooo adorable!!! *huggles* And there were times when he would look deeply into the people in front of the stage.. I was dying with jealousy! >__< Oh and I remembered after he sang YBIAW.. he said this to the crowd,  "I just love seeing all of you.. you're making such a mess making me falling in love with you like this..!" Kyaaa the feeling is mutuaaaaaalllll!!!! Hiks hiks I wish I could fly to Brisbane and watch his concert once again today... he's so addictive, I just can't get enough of him *sobs* I just don't understand how he can look so kakkoii!! He only wore a long-sleeve black shirt and a pair of jeans, and he still looks so BLOODY HOT!!! *nosebleed* He just has it in him, I guess.. the kakkoii genes v(^__^)

After exiting the venue doors,  I met up with Kika and Ista.. (we got separated during the concert), and we took some pictures, will upload them later on.. ^-^ I also took some pics of the concert.. well, actually this guy next to mine did.. I couldn't get a good angle *OBVIOUSLY!!* and so I asked the guy next to me to take some pictures for me.. and he kindly did..! The pictures were kinda blurry and dark.. but well, that's okay.. I have the whole concert pictured in my head anyway *hehe* I wish I had that thing that Dumbledore has.. you know, the one that can store your memories? I forgot what it's called.. If I had one of those, I'll be watching the concert over and over.. ^___^ hahaha ngayal terusss!!!

Went home.. chatted for a while.. called Hon.. and just then did I feel tired, I guess all the excitement has drained my energy... and so I went to bed without changing!!! ^^;; Woke up quite early though.. around 0730am.. and after cleaning up my make-up, change clothes, I went straight to my computer to write this entry.. ^-^

ORLANDO FEVER

Uwaaaaaa I'm in LOVE!!!

Am in love with Pirates of the Caribbean, just saw it last night.. *telat yah!! xDD* and it was GREEEAAAATTTT!!! AWESOME!! I absolutely LOVE that movie!!! dianne, ami, you girls were right, this movie *is* marvelous! For those of you who haven't watched this movie yet, I suggest you do! I love everything about it.. the plot, the special effect, the music, the funny scenes.. seriously I did not expect to see so many laughable stock, but there were quite some, and I loved it! The cast was also terrific,  Johnny Depp was.. err.. different, hahahha xDD no sign of his handsome face anywhere.. ^^;; but he did great, all those stupid things he said or did just cracked me up! Geoffrey Rush was his usual great self... Keira Keighley was sooo pretty... I think she kinda looks like Kate Winslet in some ways.. ^-^ I feel like I've seen her before, Nimas said that she was the girl who played in Bend It Like Beckham, one of the two soccer-fanatic girls (I only saw some bits of this movie, so I don't know the characters' names). If so.. whoaaa she's turned into such a beautiful woman!! Last but not least.. of course, my personal favorite,  the actor who played Will Turner! Forgive me Johnny's Boys.. but I think for the moment I am absolutely crazy about Orlando Bloom!!! Well, I've always liked him as Legolas, but after seeing him last night.. kyaaa I think I love him no matter what!!! Even with that moustache, beard, and that ragged look, I still found him irresistable!! Sari thought so too.. hahahha people with same birthdays think alike, maybe?? But seriously, I don't usually like guys with facial hair... I like clean faces, that's why I *always* tell my boyfriend to shave .. Hahaha I bet he hardly shaves now that I'm not around xDD. Anyway, back to orlando.. Like I said,  I don't usually like guys with facial hair.. but for some reason, Orlando looked OK.. hahhaha love is blind, ne~?? Hopefully this is what'll happen when I see Tomo-chan's new look... I can't even imagine what he looks like now, Ami said that he looks more Indonesian now.. not in a bad way, I hope ^^;;;;

Back to Orlando Bloom *again* ^o^  I just digged up some facts about him and it turns out that he was born in January 1977.. that's almost four years older than me.. hahaha finally I'm back into liking guys more suitable for my age.. *grin* Oh yes, I changed my wallpaper to his pic.. *naturally* This is what he looks like in Pirates of the Caribbean..

Speaking of FL, finally the pop-up windows have worked! Thanks so much for the explanation email s'ley! *hugs* I'll update my FL page later on.. I want to separate them by categories.. just like what s'ley did..  *copycat* hihihi ^o^

Thank you for all your compliments on my layout, minna!!! That makes me soooo happy *blush* I am now motivated to make better layouts in the future.. Mattete ne~!!!

Before I leave.. I want to wish a very happy birthday to MIC!!! Otanjoubi omedetouuu ne~!! Sorry for the late wish.. but this wish is valid for the whole year kok.. ^-^ All the best in years to come, mic! And good luck with the Prince's site.. ganbatte kudasaiii!!! \(^o^)/

Version 6!

Ta daaaaa!!! (^____^)

Welcome to the latest version of POPSICLE TOES!!! Version 6 that is... ^^ and who would be more suitable for the cover of V.6 than.. V6 themselves!! Hehehehe I've thought of this since quite a while ago.. I've had this pic from quite some time, *big hugs to jenn and di* and already edited it here and there, but as usual.. had no idea on how to make the layout ^^;;; But last night, dianne taught me how to use frontpage, and soo... I worked on this layout all night ^^;; And I ended up editing the original pic once again, from the beginning.. ^^;; but I do like this one better ^-^ Hahaha I know it's a very simple and abal layout, but it's the first time I ever made a layout completely on my own, and so.. I'm quite happy with it!! ^o^ Haven't put the blog crews and FL sections, I wanted them to be in pop-up windows, but I don't know how to make themmm!! *obvious, ne~??* so I'm waiting for a tutorial from s'ley, or dianne, or whoever, who knows how to make pop-up windows.. so minna, if any of you knows how... OSHIETE KUDASAII... ONEGAISHIMASUUU!!! m(_ _)m

I got my e-marketing paper back last night.. and I was kinda disappointed because I only got 13/20.. >__< I mean, it *was* a credit, but it was a very close call (credit in my uni starts from 65 - 74).. I had expected something better, at least a high credit.. but oh well, what's done is done.. can't do anything to change that now, can I? I guess I'll just have to concentrate on the e-mktg plan and the final exam then.. yosh, ganbarimasu!!! ^o^

Well, on the bright side, last night was the last lecture before mid semester break, and as from today.. I have more than a week of FREEDOM!!!! Mwahaahhahhaa *evil laugh* Only freedom from lectures though, still have LOTS of research to do for the assignments.. two business plan in one semester is just too much! I admire the successful businessmen/women, I only have 2 business plans to do and already I feel like I'm about to die.. they must've wanted to die more than me!! ^^;; or not? Sometimes I wonder, will I be a workaholic later in my working days? I do tend to get too focused and sometimes a bit carried away while doing a project, but a workaholic? craving for work? hmm.. we'll just have too see about that ^-^;

Oh, in case some of you are looking for the tag-board.. it's not here anymore. I've decided to just use the comment box. Hopefully HaloScan won't be as annoying as tag-board *amin* But if it does, then I'll put up a shoutbox again, doneeh's, zonk's, tagboard's, whatever.. but for now, it's just going to be the comment box.. so please, leave a message for me there ok, minna? It's always nice reading messages from all of you ^__^

Kyaaaa I forgot to resume my Arashi download from windjp!!! *frantically turning on DAP* eh, have I told you guys, I am now deeply poisoned with ARASHI!!! And that's not all.. I'm starting to like Ohno!!! No offense Ohno-fans... I don't hate him, but I don't like him either.. I like his singing voice, but that's about it.. ^^;; But after seeing Hadashi no Mirai and Kotoba Yori mo Taisetsu na Mono PVs, and seeing the talk part in Utaban (forgot the date).. I started to change my mind and actually thought that he's cute!!! Of course, my dear brother Nino is still my fave Arashi, but Ohno's definitely climbing the ladder in my Arashi chart.. v(^___^)
