KILL BILL
I've been seeing quite a lot of movies the past few days.. Well, actually..
only three ^-^ But still, I count that as quite a lot ^^;; Watched
Kill Bill Vol.1 last night at the movies, and
today I watched Bend it Like Beckham, and
re-watched Mulan on DVD. Comments, you ask? Well..
Kill Bill was AWESOME! I REALLLY LIKED IT! So..
Tarantino-ish!! ^o^ Those who've watched Pulp Fiction
will know just what I mean ^^ The scenes were back and forth, but it all made
sense.. meaning, not confusing to us, the audience.. at all! And the songs, they
just suit every scene! And of course, one of the reason why I liked this movie
was.. it's soo.. Japanese! Hehehe LOL! . About half of the movie was set
in Japan, and there were lots of Japanese dialogues as well.
Uma Thurman's and Lucy Liu's
Japanese aren't bad.. well, I'm not suppose to be judging here, since my Jap is
still abal xD But really, despite the accent, I think they did quite OK
^-^ Back to the movie, I really think that it's creative the way they put some
anime in, it gives a kinda different atmosphere to the whole movie.. And the way
they made the fighting scene black and white.. it just made it even more
dramatic..! One complaint though, it has WAAAAY TOO MANY brutal scenes! There
was blood everywhere! And all those sadistic scenes, MY GOD! No wonder they made
sure we were over 18 before buying the tickets ^^;;;

As for the other two, well.. I like Bend It..
it's funny, and quite entertaining.. but no special comments.. except that I
really can't believe that the girl who played Jules is the same one playing
Elizabeth in Pirates... ! As for
Mulan, speak no more... I love this movie even more
every time I re-watch it! I love every single bit of it! And I can't believe how
I still cry at the end, when Mulan gave the sword and the crest to her dad and
he threw them away and hugged her instead.. hiks hiks.. so touching T____T
*sobs*
Hmm.. what have I been up to lately? Nothing I guess.. I've not been feeling
well, so any activity is no good ^^;; Have just been doing final researches for
my assignments, as well as sleeping a lot.. thanks to the medicines I'm taking
=P
I can't believe it's almost Ramadhan again.. It feels like it was only
yesterday I celebrated Lebaran, along with my birthday.. in my hometown.. ^^;;
Anw, in the spirit of Ramadhan, I'd just like to ask for everyone's forgiveness
should I've done something wrong, hurt someone's feeling, made a mistake, or
whatever.. please forgive me, ok? And of course, Happy Fasting to..
everyone who's fasting this month! ^o^
Sadly, I will have to end today's entry with a
HIATUS announcement x__x I have group projects due next week,
and in that same week, plus the following week is the final exams period.. so I
won't have time to blog.. >_< If you wanna leave me a message in my comment box,
please do.. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible ^-^
