Went to practice in ze morning and immediately felt overdressed. Was wearing four layers whilst everybody was wearing shorts and etc. .__.
Everybody said that they had their best show, but we ended up getting 6th overall out of 10. o__O Drumline placed third, which is also full of crazy because they said that they did their best and they usually sweep or take 1st. The winning drumline had (I heard) 1 snare and 2 tenors. >>; I don't even know what we placed. They only gave out awards to 1st place for drumline, colorguard, and the scores for everybody as a whole. Before we got onto the bus, the staff was talking to us about how the judges were blind, etc. Then somebody pointed at the sky and said "THE RING!!!" and everybody looked up. There was a giant white ring around the moon and half the people freaked out. ~_~;

We won 4th place out of 10th. Big step up, considering the conditions we performed in. When we got to school in the morning, it was sprinkling lightly, so we didn't think it'd be that bad. It started raining harder so we practiced a bit in the wrestling gym. They called us in to the other gym to do some stand-still run throughs. We had barely warmed up, so when we took some tosses, a few of us dropped. Then the band director, in his snotty 'I marched colorguard 20 years ago THEREFORE I /must/ be the guru so I can order you around' type of voice told us not to drop. I was already in a pissy mood and I told him (quite loudly and angrily) that we didn't get a chance to warm up and it wasn't like we were trying to drop on purpose. A bunch of people turned around and gave me this "I can't believe you just said that to him" look. Another stroke of genius a la band director brought us to practice the show outside in the rain. So everybody got wet and muddy. Yahy. ~_~; (Yes, Sai-chan. everybody. Well, except the pit. They got to load things on the truck in the rain, which isn't much better) Didn't get much time to let my clothes dry, so we rode on the bus wearing damp-ish clothes. Competition site was also wet as hell, and everybody's feet and pants got soaked from wading around in muddy rain water. Since it was raining too hard to be doing anything outside, we sat on the bus for a while and just talked. Band had to practice outside and mocking commenced. :3 About a half hour before we had to perform, we got moved into the gym for 20 minutes to warm up. Everybody was wearing sopping wet leather jazz shoes, and they had just re-slipperied the floor (or so I've been told). I slipped and fell on my left side. There was a pre-bruise this morning. So we actually did pretty good considering we only practiced for 20 minutes pre-show and performed a standstill show on the mushy grass that you can practically sink into if you're walking in the wrong spot. We watched R.C.C. perform. I was talking to Eugene about that really hot brunette girl. I watched her at the beginning of their show, but she disappeared halfway through, but came back in the end. :D R.C.C. has cool uniforms, and HotGirl was wearing black pants with SHINAY stuff on it, and a black halter thing with a white collar. If that even makes sense. o_O Doesn't matter. Rowr. XD

I just came back from watching Jackass with Eugene...um..I almost cried from laughing because it was just so damn stupid. Very funny, but it was a waste of my money *glares*. mm. not deliriousing about jrock for once. so me and iyoko-chan were walking to ralphs and other places afterschool today (sou, ame ni). anyway, we were talking about how the members of delirious were going to marry each other if any of them weren't married by the time they were 40. (we raised the age to 40 instead of 30) anyhow, so we were talking about that kind of stuff and we figured that probably kika-chan and maki-chan would marry first (kika-chan almost always gets... the cool guys? shrug i dunno... and maki-chan has wilburn. and following the pattern of maki-chan's mom, maki-chan will probably end up marrying wilburn or only having one partner for the rest of her life) and last night i realized that i have very high standards for the guy i plan to marry. so far the list looks like this. at that rate i'm never going to get married and i'm going to be an old maid.
1. must be good looking (i don't want to stare at an ugly guy for the rest of my life and i don't plan on having sex with an ugly guy either)
2. should at least be able to speak japanese or chinese.. or at least another language so we can talk bad crap about other people w/o them knowing what we're saying :D

5. can keep a conversation with (NO!! it's not just going to be sex-sex-sex all day, iyoko-chan! >D)

I hate this health project. Have to create some sort of fitness plan, but I need to come up with a goal first. Fitness... goal? Urk, I'll just write something about losing weight. It's the easiest plus I could get lots of information on it for the research section. Plus we all know it's plausible for a member of the female race to express a wish to rid herself of unneeded pounds. So there. Easy. :D
