Jrock con /still/ doesn't have a website. They have the domain, but no money for a host. HOW do you have money to form a convention when you DON'T HAVE MONEY TO MAINTAIN A WEBSITE? It's not like they need massive amounts of space and bandwith. Those /month hosts should be enough. All they have is an ezboard. And according to it, they don't even know when or where the convention is going to be held. They were hoping around the LA area sometime during August. Yeah, that's fine but it's ALREADY APRIL. I'm starting to think that this convention isn't going to happen, or at least not this year. If they do manage to make it in time for August, it won't be too great.

Oh well, now I have more money for AX and Comic-con.

Speaking of slutty girls, some people were talking about Christina Aguilera during 6th period and Mr. Trost overheard. He said that she looked like a whore, and I proceeded to justify prostitutionism and explain that it was a valid occupation. Stupid bull-headed man. I want to smash his head with a slice of lemon wrapped on a brick. It would have to be a rather large slice of lemon, though.

During lunch today, we performed a Japanese fan dance for the international-week-event-Sort-of-Thing. We spent an hour and a half learning it yesterday, and the fecking obi CUTS OFF ALL OXYGEN SUPPLY and breaks your ribs. Mrs. Kawamoto is so brutal. ;_; The performance wasn't bad, but I realized how. fecking. slow. it. is. How can anybody stand it? *tears hair* A lot of people said they liked it. They must be lying.

Sold frozen yogurt after school. I got out there early, as we were not actually doing anything productive 6th period. They spent a whole hour arguing what color they want the text in for the fecking Florida shirt. By getting to the gate early, one manages to sell a hell of a lot more, as everybody is GONE by the time the cart gets there.

Long entry. Pitas has a habit of eating those. ¬ ¬ I wrote one yesterday about going to the bathroom with Alicia yesterday, and a jazz band member had to ask us to go one at a time. It amused me.

Is somebody going to change the layout? This defiles my computer.

Spiffy. Two days ago, I had to take a chemistry test. Because only one person [as opposed to the regular two] may sit at a lab station during testing, I moved to one of the vacant desks. This Mexican girl named Martha came up to me and proceeded to whine that she was going to sit there and I should move. She continued to do this even after I politely told her I was already sitting there and no, I would not move, so I told her "I'll move if you take off your pants."

Bad Move.

She was silent for a moment and then started talking really fast and moving her arms about in a threatening manner. She then announced to the entire class what I had just said and thoroughly embarrassed me [which is rather hard to do]. The teacher said he'd deal with it, and promptly made her sit in the back of the room. Because everyone was still staring at me, I thought it best to apologize to the wench, but she would have none of it. I decided to ignore it - if she wouldn't accept the apology, it wasn't my problem.

Well, today I got a note in sixth period [a different class] from my counselor saying I should see her immediately. She lectured me on sexual harrassment and its consequences, and now I have three detentions to serve. I'm not so much irked by the detentions, but by the way it all seems so one-sided. Okay, I shouldn't tell girls I hardly know to take off their pants in exchange for seating, but she needn't have made such a commotion about it. It's not as if I reached out and tried to pull them down myself. I figured, though, that if I tried to rationalize what I said, I'd be in deeper shit.

Moral of the story: Only tell your friends to take off their pants. Not slutty girls. :)

I just got a letter from that scholarships thing. Apparently, I got .39 more than I thought I was going to get. So my scholarship balance is currently ,005.39 I have no idea how to go about using it though. The scholarship system is still a bit fuzzy to me. They'll probably explain it to me later. I've still got time. *shrugs*

I've been having strange dreams again. I dreamt that I missed a problem on a test because I forgot to put the second ~ in L'arc~en~Ciel. o__O

Drumline got first yesterday! Congratufuckalations. Cheryl and I wheeled in their big speakers (and I swear, I was probably more nervous than they were because I did /not/ want to drop that thing. T_T) Then Cheryl and I sat for a few hours straight watching drumlines perform. We didn't understand a damn thing about it, either. We saw this one colorguard practicing, and asked if they were performing that night. Was slightly strange as Rancho Cucomonga was the only colorguard listed as exhibition. Turns out that Etiwanda's colorguard performs with the drumline. O_O So we ran in to watch the performances. Moorpark's drumline.... their music... is the same as /OURS/ @w@ We heard them practicing and thought we were hearing things. Strange. :/ During the second half of their performance, it was confirmed that it was actually the same song. When Etiwanda came in, we were happy to actually be seeing something familiar. It was a big disappointment. Their weapon technique was... eh. If they had danced.... seperately, it would have been halfway decent. They can dance, just not together. (Reminds me of a certain attempt at a Japanese dance. *ahem*) Anyways, I never thought I would hear "Dirty Pop" and "Hot in Here" played by a fecking pit. (Marumbas, xylophones, etc. I know nothing about pit, so sue me.)

Black Knights is having practice at our school later, from 3 to five. I'm gonna go watch them. Don't fall to your knees in desperation if you cannot find me during that time.

One more thing. Sarukame-jiji /would/ be sort of an insult to you, but at least it's not as bad as Saru-baba. XD

Today, I found a grey hair. Grey. Hair. On my head. This one. The one on top of my neck. The fact that I have a grey hair is incomprehensible. Sixteen years old and my hair's already greying?! Madness. I've always considered myself a pretty mellow guy, and I rarely ever stress over anything. Even if I'm staying up all night for some last-minute school project, I don't so much panic as sink into a numbed state of resignation. Being easily stressed is not in my character description. Finding a grey hair has shattered the illusion of immortality that comes with young age. Sixteen, and my youth is already slipping away. Come back, youth!

GUESS.WHO.GOT.FIRST.PLACE?! :D We had a really bad show, as there were many drops and our equipment score got lowered by 2 points. Our General Effect and Ensemble score went up though, as people were actually SMILING and PERFORMING. I whispered to everybody to smile (in a somewhat threatening manner) when I moved past. El Dorado High School went on before us, and they were the only competition. AB Miller scored in the 60s, so they were of no concern to us. Mark watched El Dorado through the little crack in the door. We beat them by 5 whole points. :) On the recap sheet, we got first place in EVERY SINGLE CAPTION. I'm incredibly happy, and you can bet I'll be shoving this in Mr. Trost's face (Take that. And you think you can outspin us? *scoff* Next time, keep your shit comments to yourself, dickhead.) Don't be surprised if you hear an announcement on the bulletin Monday. :)

I'm going with drumline to rancho Cucamonga today. Cheryl is coming with me, so I won't be so lonely. I'm probably going to stop by the library so I can pick up some reading material. Here's my chance to actually finish At Swim, Two Boys. :/

Missed another day of school, but this time for the legitimate reason of a doctor's appointment. My mom had an eye exam before me, so I waited an hour and a half for her to finish, then I waited another half hour for my own appointment which took all of three minutes. I hate waiting rooms, as they are made to be completely devoid of anything stimulating, save for some outdated issues of People magazine. I propose that art exhibits and other such artsy crap should be held at all hospitals and other establishments requiring a waiting room. It'd be pseudo-intellectual.

Anyhow, I got home around eleven and have done nothing since. Where's Iyoko? The absence of green is unsettling!

I am feeling exceptionally smug, for I have ditched class in the most brilliant of fashions! At least, in my mind it's brilliant. During fourth period, I weakly approached my P.E. teacher and told him in a subdued voice peppered with sniffles and tummy-clutching that I felt like throwing up and could I please go to the nurse's office. Of course, he obliged. I then trudged across campus to the nurse's office, where I performed the same act and asked if I could leave for home. After calling my mom, the nurse gave me a pass which I didn't even need to show to the secretary at the front office before leaving. And so I am home, completely un-vomiting and reflecting on how clever I think I am [even though I'm not].

I don't know what to do now. :/

I'm back on a NIN high and remembering how much I love this song. (As well as many others) :D

I've just started feeling incredibly frustrated. Almost all of a sudden. I'm mad that I've been too busy for... everything. I've been missing out on a bunch of stuff at the forums I frequent. (And you know... moderate) I haven't been able to accomplish anything I've wanted to accomplish. (Miyavi site is dead. The shitloads of stuff I promised to scan for people are left unscanned) At least my grades are getting higher. Some good is coming out of this. Mostly, I'm frustrated because it always seems like I'm too busy for my friends. Dammit, and I feel bad for being happy because I get to go to Sadies with the person I most want to go with... and everybody else is wading knee-deep in shit. That's a bit of an overstatement, but that's what it feels like. :/

Goddammit, I can barely arrange my thoughts into coherent sentences! /Nothing/ up there makes the slightest bit of sense! *tears hair* God forbid Delirious turns into some sort of angsty-teenybopper group blog where only TWO PEOPLE POST and one of which ANGSTS and DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. UGH. *bangs head on desk*
