There's something very unappealing about going to theme parks during summer. Let's all pay forty bucks for suffocating crowds and merciless heat! All the parks are fun at night when there's no one there. No lines, no crying babies, and the temperature is poifect! You can also do whatever the hell you want without getting strange looks. Air fresheners don't freshen the air, they just make it smell. SMELL, I SAY! And uh...great story, Sai-chan. I hope the fact that people keep getting me for the quiz doesn't mean I'm like everybody else. Conformity's a bitch.

Finished "Clockers" last night. Yesterday morning. Whatever. There was certainly a lack of a post-novel high, which is odd because the story was quite enjoyable save for some...unnecessary sub-plots. I guess it wasn't very thought-provoking. At least "Left Behind" gave me some stuff to think about religion-wise. It's like the first time I've had sex with a book without a good, established relationship! Figuratively speaking, of course. Ahem.

I tried being productive today. Honest! I called the number my piano teacher gave me for a tuner. Each time, I was redirected to a voice message box of a woman who did not have the same last name as said tuner. And I hate leaving messages. Especially when I'm not entirely sure I'm leaving a message for the right person. I also tried to e-mail my teacher-to-be asking for clearer instructions, but couldn't think of what questions to ask and how to ask them.

At least I brought myself to put away the dishes.

Now for the actual entry. I'm in horrendous amounts of pain right now. The tips of my fingers are rubbed raw, and I have a giant scar on my leg where I got stabbed/scratched by a metal spike. Or a tack. Same thing. ><; We got one of those cork boards for the CG room, and I brought some tacks to ... stick things up. Box spilled a bit in my bag, and one of them embedded itself into the canvas-y material. Picked up my bag and it drew across my leg. Michelle asked if I cut myself shaving. *looks at scar* If that was how I got it, then I am /HORRIBLE/ at this shaving malarkey. *stares at odd shape* Our team is in need of a few more members. One got pulled out by her parents, and another got let go from the team because... Well, she's a flake. She can't pay attention to save her life, she won't remember anything even if you've told her time after time after time. Plus she moves with the grace of a speared hippo. (and I'm trying not to be mean). I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen, but from what Mark said during mini bits of conversation, she's either got a very small time limit to pull everything together, or she's gone from the team. So now we're short five members, there's gonna be a huge space on the field where their spots where. I don't know if it's too late to change the drill or not, but Mark really wants five by the end of this week. Does anybody want their car washed? We're holding a car wash at the Chevron station next to the Mc Donalds (corner of South and Carmenita) this Saturday. From 9 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Come and you get your choice of AIR FRESHENER. Saturday practice has been cancelled. The band director apparently thought that a 9-3 practice was full of crazy. Especially after going for a week from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M. I haven't been getting enough sleep... have horrendous dark circles under my eyes... and I was snapping at everybody Friday morning. Yelling it at the top of my lungs too, because the band/drumline was loud and my head was already pounding. I threw my rifle at the ground and screamed some obscenities, but nobody heard me because of said noise. ><; I told a few people to fuck off, when they tried to talk to me... Felt better after Maki and Kika came to visit. Haven't really seen them for a while... since the Fujisawa autograph signing, I think.

Now I'm feeling depressed. Time for another Gravitation marathon. >D

Maki and Kika visited me at band camp today. Kika gave me her Weiss Kruez posters because I'm adopting them. XD Afterwards, I went with David, Patrick, and Michael to the TC to eat lunch, then we went back to the band room to clean. First, it was kinda slow, and smelled really bad because the vacuum cleaner that got donated to the band emitted.... odd fumes. After we cleared most of the stuff out of the way, we played jump rope with the extension cord. Tony and Elliot were throwing around a broken cymbal. There were these mini bust figures of famous composers on the shelf were we have trophies, and Gabbie arranged some to depict sexual intercourse. XD I fixed some of the other ones, and she placed one waaaay off to the side and said that he's straight. We were playing around most of the time, instead of cleaning. I haven't laughed so hard for a long time now. Last time must have been Anime Expo when we had our adventurous Chinese dinner. BEWARE OF UPSIDE DOWN TREES AND ALLIGATORS THAT EAT CARROTS. XD

I spent two hours playing this game. I think most of that time was spent trying to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do. My life is sad.

School's coming fast. I have two weeks to decipher my English-teacher-to-be's cryptic summer reading project instructions and act on them. How the hell am I supposed to discuss concepts of truth, beauty, and goodness in a religious action novel? And I don't even know what I'm supposed to do with the nine intelligences. I'm tempted to ask him to explain it to me through e-mail, but...that's kind of creepy. It's almost like going to his house to ask him something. Teachers aren't supposed to have lives outside of school.

I hate the future.

People find me therapeutic. Or they just talk too much. I always get older people telling me about their problems and I don't care. I could neither give an earthbound or flying fuck. They may as well be complaining to a cat, because all I give are monosyllabic words. Just this afternoon my piano teacher was saying she was worried about her sons and girlfriends. She doesn't think highly of one of the girlfriends. Anyways, I also discovered she's got a dirtier mind than I would expect from a 50 something Christian. I needed my piano tuned and we were talking about her piano tuner. I asked what his name and she said "Woodcock. Isn't that a funny name?" I replied with a noncommital "mm" and did well in keeping my face straight.

This girl's writing annoys me to no end. It's teenyboppiness with blatant attempts at sounding intelligent. "o holy. this wretched KNAWING sound from outside keeps 'bock bock bock' bocking unstoppably and monotonously. geezusss." Reminds me of my writing back in seventh grade.

I'm feeling drunk in the sense that I'll call someone and talk gibberish. I've never prank-called in my entire life! I'm scared, Bobby...I'm not ready for this! No! I don't want this!
