I am officially sick. It started on Thursday with a lot of phlegm and has worsened since then to the same amount of phlegm, but darker this time. And with blood. I don't understand why it's only limited to the left eye - not that I want BOTH eyes to be like that, because they would both be glued shut by the eyestuff and I would be blind. We got second place!! Since we were one of the last to perform, our practice time wasn't too well-lit. Therefore, our warmup wasn't too great. The good news is, we improved our score by 5 points. O_O We lost to Ramona High School by one point, and because their movement score was a little higher than ours. I normally don't say bad things about other schools, but I don't think Ramona's show was that great. Everything they did was in a fucking ripple, so it's a lot easier to make things look clean. Plus, their show was.... boring. :/ I think they won because they hosted the show. The other school in our division isn't even worth mentioning. We beat them by close to 20 points. Why they are even competing in Scholastic A, nobody knows. *shrug* After the competition, nine of us went to Carrows for food. Was totemo fun. *grins at Sai-chan* It's been a long time since I've actually hung out with my teammates.

Yesterday's competition was... for lack of a better description, shitty. It was raining /really/ hard (Sai-chan, you go what you wanted) and because the floor was outside, it got soaked. X_X; We practiced in the rain, too. At least there were overhangs for the guards to practice under. Then we had to go barefoot and stand in the freezing water waiting for our turn to perform. It wasn't as cold as Serrano. (Maki/Kika, remember? x_@; That was painful.) There were people out there to help wipe the floors before the performances, but our floor was still pretty wet. Two of the four judges commented on that and told us to be careful. The equipment judge even said just looking at it made her nervous. We listened to the tapes on the way home. The GE judge said "GOOD!!" at the end of every other sentence. It came out of nowhere the first time, and was just funny to hear him exclaim it randomly afterwards. We got a shitty placing. 5th out of 8th. Though all the schools above us beat us by fractions of points. At least we improved our score from last time. ._. Nobody did their best, due to the weather. Even Fantasia dropped down 2 points from their last competition. They did incredible though. Applause before they even came in through the door and standing ovation towards the end. i have barely been home these past two days. so much stuff happened. watched both versions of the ring/ringu last night w/ orie--the ring wasn't as "stupid" as most people deemed it, it was just that the girl wasn't very scary-looking, and they never explained how the tape came into existence, while in ringu they explained more. in "the ring", the color scheme was green, while in "ringu", the color scheme was predominantly blue. the ending was spookier too. basically, "the ring" was action/horror, while "ringu" was really sci-fi/horror, and i think that's much scarier. i was supposed to watch wolf's rain and one piece tonight, after shopping [walking around towne centre] w/ iyoko in the afternoon, but right when i got home, neil [from xc] called and said they were having a pizza party at his house, so i went to his house [which was only a block away >>;] not many people were there, all the freshman girls were there and jenny. later 200preetham showed up and so did drew, w/ all his expensive electronic stuff, and then mike showed up. the pizza came supaa-late [not just late, but SUPAA late!] the freshman had a hard time using the garlic sauce, hehe. drew brought "battle royale" on his notebook, and so we made everyone watch it, even though lisa, mike and jenny all left before watching it. anyhow we forced everyone to watch it, while neil pulled out his sofa [and it was sort of like a bed, and everyone .. just sorta squished onto it. it was kinda funny how drew hogged the center of the bed and then everyone piled pillows onto him since we were all sitting in uncomfortable positions and then we had to lean onto SOMETHING for the whole two hours -_-] the freshmen screamed when nobu's head blew up :D 200preetham said so many funny things, since hala and emily thought the kiriyama guy [the one who signed up for fun] was hot, and then 200pree said [when kiriyama showed up] "! it's the cool guy! sexy!" us: O_O WHAT DID YOU SAY!? 200pree: i said, "succeeded!" us: you said it awfully fast! HAHA YOU THINK HE'S HOT TOO!!!
then later, 200pree said, "hey, it's the hot guy again!" and then everyone cracked up because he didn't know what he just said :D. everyone enjoyed the movie and laughed at the girl in the video [BOH! :D] plus 200pree hated the slut mitsuko, and so did everyone else, everyone wanted her to die so bad [hehe] but they didnt' really know who was who, so i had to tell everyone the names -_-. I'm kind of worried that I didn't pass the CAHSEE [California High School Exit Exam] because I only wrote two paragraphs for the first session of the English portion and I completely forgot how to do any of the math stuff presented. Today, we performed our show for the school's hip hop rally. Drumline did a standstill of their show, and we were probably cheering during all the wrong parts because we don't know any better. :D During the first performance, the school's CD player botched up our music and started skipping in random directions at random times. Needless to say, it was a horrible performance. It was even kindly mentioned by one of the seniors in band along the lines of: "That was terrible". Great. -_-; The band director, who should be supporting /us/, had the balls to talk shit about our performance. Fucker. The assistant band director was nice enough to offer to transfer our CD onto tape, and the second performance went along pretty well. Then the idiot band director complimented us after that one. I told him off about saying those things earlier (which I really shouldn't have) because he blamed it all on the assistant and yelled at her in the office until she stormed out. I hear she's quitting. I talked to her afterwards and apologized for getting her yelled at, but she said it wasn't me. I still feel pretty shitty about that. n_n
Anyways, nobody even noticed that our music was skipping. o_O They probably all thought we were fucking up because we /sucked/. Some moron made a comment about it and I told him where to shove it. We're performing again for Open House next Tuesday for the incoming freshmen. Fun.

The Tomo no Kai performance was... okay. The skits were kinda ehhh. I agree that the taiko performances were good. We all thought there was going to be food, so everybody was hungry on the way back. There was also supposed to be some sort of gay pride event. Nobody was sure of the date, but some people heard about it. :/
The bus we were on had a strange lavatory. There was this bright red light that turned on whenever somebody went into the bathroom. I also met another Poppy Z. Brite fan. She's in my Japanese class. I pulled out Exquisite Corpse and she asked if she could borrow it. I told her she could go ahead if she could handle it. Then she told me she's read some of her other books.
