hey kids, i haven't been on in a bit. internet's been down the last two days and my attempts at fixing it failed miserably, not that i cared much. my internet activity this year has been slowly dwindling, nearly to the point where i only go on to delirious and check some blogs. plus, i found myself a bit more productive without the computer distracting me, though i was rather bored yesterday with nothing to do but flip between a rerun of friends and my guide to becoming a rock star. anyhow, i somehow fixed the little situation with those girls, not that i like them any more than i did before, but it's good to have people like them as neutrals in the battleground that is artesia. i didn't talk to them at all and lo and behold, they started sending sorry notes. i guess they can't live life without me talking...heh. we had an assembly today "celebrating" those who got a 3.0 or higher. they had posters on the wall listing the names of the people with each gpa and they put me under 3.0 which is like a...::calculator:: 1.0 difference! and my friends didn't even get their names written up. grr them. it was beyond disorganized, they made us come in at 8.55 to get cards with our name/gpa on it, though i don't know what it was for. the people handing it out got so frustrated, they sent us outside. the person cycled through the cards at least three times and hardly anyone claimed it. eventually, she just called our names off of a list and told us to cross out the name and put in our own. because the lady started from z and worked her way up to a [for no apparent reason] i had to wait for more than half an hour. what was the reward for this waiting around? A HANDSHAKE FROM THE ENIGMATIC PRINCIPAL! realizing this, i didn't even bother to go up. what's ironic is those with perfect attendance got free tickets to knott's. i guess their mentality is it's better to show up everyday and suck than to show up sometimes and do well. booyaka.

there's something obviously awry with the HTML in iyoko's entry, but i'll be damned if i fix her post. i was late for school today. it's rather long and complicated, but let's just say i got driven to the wrong place and wound up running across merciless streets. actually, that's all that happened, guess it's not that complicated after all? at any rate, as i made my distracting entrance into first period, i found retarded [literally] substitute and one of our gay [literally] teachers in the room. he was talking about editing and being a boss and i wondered where my teacher had gone. turns out her seven year old nephew died of leukemia, which really bums my bum. for the whole period we did a worksheet that used 'big words' to express common adages. the whole class worked on it as a team, but i got most of them. ::shines, shot for bragging:: ow! dammit...and there's these mexican chicks in my third and sixth periods that are beyond intolerable. i made a joke about having sex with one of our male classmates, and now i think they think i'm gay, and they constantly patronize me with illy-veiled jokes that suggest i have relations with men, while they pretend not to be making fun of me. i'd talk back, but they'd probably get some mexican mafia on my ass, so i decided to try something more subtle. i think i scared them with sending pictures of them being burned, hanged, and shot and glaring at them incessantly. now they ask if i'm crazy. idiots.
