today was absurdly unfruitful academic-wise and i've got a funny feeling i'll be staying up late tomorrow night. i had to leave school early to go to the orthodontist, so i never got to hear how to do my geometry homework. the guy asked me how i was and i said good and he started raving about my lack of enthusiasm. exactly what do i have to be enthusiastic about? i was being fitted for headgear for Bob's sake. apparently, you could fit an entire opposum family in my overbite [not literally]. anyway, the thing isn't the cumbersome type that hides my entire face behind a network of wires and contraptions. it's just this band thing that i put on when i'm at home. fun fun fun. i have to write an essay about what atticus symbolizes in to kill a mockingbird. even though i chose the subject, i couldn't think of anything. i searched google and found a good essay on the symbolism in to kill a mockingbird and basically stole all the ideas pertaining to atticus. i just need to twist those ideas into something that sounds like it came from me. i feel so smart.

i get to go to little tokyo w/ maki-san next saturday! no race! i was so tired when i got back from the boring invitational yesterday--8 AM~5 PM! i was there the WHOLE time and this is so messed up--my two mile was at 10:20 AM and the one mile was at 5PM!!!! i couldnt really eat otherwise i'd probably barf it up so i ate a little bread. i got two medals though! one for seventh and one for third. I FINALLY BROKE 14 MINX FOR THE TWO MILE--13:54!!!! WOOO!!!!!! i didnt get the 6:20 mile time i wanted though. 7 seconds AWAY!!!!! -_-..... GAH... my dad was so 'proud' he was like, 'ok denise hurry up we're gonna go eat' i was like, 'i just got HOME!!!!' i had to hurry and shower and it was really annoying cuz i was tired already. my sister, at her taekwondo competition, won a first place and second place trophy. i almost fell asleep on the van, which is impossible becuz i dont sleep on anything that moves except for humans. XD. so anyways, we ate at this place called "tokyo hibashi" and it was not bad. not OISHII!!! but II DESU. my grandpa was annoying. he kept complaining and the waitress was all confused. after that i just sat on the couch and watched two movies--"the silence of the lambs" and "romy and michele's high school reunion"... i finally get why the movie's called "the silence of the lambs"... but somehow it doesnt make me want to stop eating meat.
