Huzzah. :D Anyways, we have to get together some time over the holiday break (provided that nobody goes anywhere for vacation). Hm... I got my Due le Quartz memorial box today! It came with a nice (all region) DVD, a photobook (paperback. Sexy pictures. Yum.) and a postcard set. Naked Miyabi, WHOO! (though you can only see a little past his shoulders, but I'll take what I can get XD)
My geometry teacher must have selective eyesight or something. I had a bad case of cabin fever today. I was stuck inside the house with my dog. We had painters over to do the exterior of the house, and most all of the windows/doors leading outside were covered so as not to get paint on them. It was such a nice day, too, what with the grey skies and spontaneous drizzles. Damned stuffy house.
Oh, and my mom, dad, and me were clearing out some junk in our garage and found stuff from the 70's. Among the salvaged was a Doobie Brothers "Farewell Tour" concert book [which we plan to ebay], two of my aunt's high school yearbooks, and three sets of odd card games. One of the card games was called "Authors," where the title of a book is printed on the card, and the other player has to guess who wrote it [I guess] which is pretty stupid since Shakespear never wrote any books. He's a playwright/poet, damn it!

I don't think there is a single part of my body that doesn't ache right now. X___X; Anyways, we got 6th out of 19 yesterday. Mr. Trost said something about use being top 16 in California, but I was half asleep and didn't give a flying tomato fuck about what was going on around me, so I could have heard wrong. We missed finals by .3 of a point, I thing. Top 5 in our division makes it to finals, and we were 6th. We had another chance of finals, because they take top X amount in each division and the top Y scoring bands after. We missed that by 2 points.
Friday night, I went with Michelle and Cheryl to Guppy to buy drinks before going to get our hair done. I walked in and the manager saw me and gave me an envelope with tip money that I didn't pick up, plus my pay. So I have money now. :D At Natalie's house, we watched The Fifth Element whilst doing hair for everybody. There were 20 some girls there, so it took forever. X_x; Only got a few hours of sleep before I had to get my ass to the school. Got there at 4:30 A.M., and everybody there was half asleep and freezing their ass off. We got an extra bus this time, so half the people from our usual bus went to vacate the other one, so we had more room to stretch out and sleep. When we finally got to San Diego, the parents served us muffins, cookies, hot cocoa, and some other stuff. Warmed up and performed at 11 A.M. The stadium was built so that we were facing the sun while we performed, but we still did really good :D There were some women sitting behind Mark in the stands that were ooh-ing and aah-ing at the rifle line. One of them said something about us being able to toss fives and catch them even though the sun was blinding us. We took a group picture afterwards. 1 serious and 1 fun. I stole Tony's shako for the fun one :D After pictures, we changed and just hung around for a few hours. Some people went back to watch 4A bands, some went to get food. Michelle, Natalie, a bunch of other people, and I were talking on the bus for a long time. At 4:30, we went to watch 4A awards, saw that we didn't make finals, and everybody seperated again. Natalie and I went to Taco Bell to buy dinner, and some girls (forgot what school they were from. Somewhere in Temecula, I think :/) Saw us and asked if we were from Cerritos. They said that though they didn't get to watch our show, they heard good things about us, and one person from their guard saw our show and said we were really good. They lavished a few more compliments and advertised a bit for Impulse, Cerritos College's drum corp. Needless to say, it was quite the ego boost. :D Taco Bell was full of people from the comp. Saw Tyler and Kevin there too, so we walked back to the stadium together. Watched performances for like... 5 hours straight. Bleachers were made of concrete, so ass was hurting yet didn't want to stand up and stretch as it was FREEZING and I'd rather be semi-warm and sore under a blanket than freezing and... less... sore. :/ Watched James Logan perform for the first time. It's hard to believe they're a high school... Everybody could barely keep their eyes open until that point, as it was getting quite late... but as soon as Logan got on, everybody's eyes went O_O. Logan was the last competing band to go on. Afterwards, Fresno and RCC performed for exhibition. They were both really good.... and I saw the hot girl from RCC again. XD After that, went back on the bus and SLEPT. Didn't get back to the school until 2:20 A.M. x__X; I didn't get to take any pictures with my camera, as I am STUPID and I forgot I had a camera. Oh well, Juan took a bunch of pictures, so I'll just take his and go make copies or something. Dad is coming to pick my sister and me up later to go shopping or something. Hn. The highest grade in our Eng. class is a 92%. I believe that says enough about our class. There's also still only one A in the whole AP EURO system at our school... It's a 90% too. Our school installed those motion-sensor things to their lights. If nobody moves in the room for 30 minutes or so, then the lights shut off by themselves to conserve energy. The sensor in my English classroom was turned so it was facing a direction where it couldn't pick up any motion, and it was set to approximately 30 seconds, so the lights would turn off and on by themselves periodically throughout the period. @__@; By the end of class, they called someone in to remove it.
