AWI
I have been over to the One Stop Career Center yesterday and today. I got my resume worked up and then I was sent back to my counselor who got me into some testing that they do there. I took the TABE again; it's Testing Adult Basic Education. I did real well on the reading and verbal part, not so good on the math. Geometry was a real bummer! Mom needs me to check up on some charges to the Working Assets Credit Card. That damn socialist thing has charged her some finance charges. I shouldn't be telling you this because she hates to have the dirty laundry, etc. She didn't pay it, was it last month, or two months ago. Funny, she needs me to tell her how to make these greeting cards; I wonder if that's the point with the credit? I need her. I'm a little angry, but hell, mom can't surf the net so what the hell.

Dr. Weil
Went to the doctor yesterday for an itch on my dick (excuse me). I was interrogated about my sexual habits, my diet and all kinds of things and finally got a prescription that hopefull will stop this itching and pain that makes sex impossible for me. So, I went to Eckerd's in Hawthorne, Florida and they did not have the prescription but they would have it at 4:00 P.M. to dya. It's now just before noon.

Lie Detector Roulette
This is exactly the thing that gets you. It's so stupid. Isn't it obvious to the Congress that Lie Detectors areBULLSHIT! I hope you'll read this. I read it in the magazine last month. It's so sad that the virtuous people are denied the prosperity and privilege this country has to offer, in this case by fools who would like to believe there is a machine that can tell if you are lying or not.

My "Diary!" ;-)
This is an example of stuff at Diaryland. I have a Gold Membership that lets me upload pictures. That costs $2 a month. I have nothing to say right now. Maybe I'll post my pictures of Candidate McBride there. I was lucky to take them. I thought someone was going to tell me to get lost. That's what they should have told all the Bush supporters that showed up there.

Heard it was Saturday today, but that didn't mean much to me. I went into town to get some Twinings English Breakfast Tea, the non-decafeinated kind. None at Ward's where I had a certificate I received when I returned some disgusting tasting milk. Luckily, Winn-Dixie was open and they did have some. After getting some milk at Publix on Main, Health Valley Organic 2% reduced fat I returned home. I went back out again soon and I didn't know what was happening when along the side of the road I saw a sign advertising a Psychic Fair. Well, I thought I had been to one of them because I had been to Moon Goddess on Sixth a couple times and saw a guy dressed in black with only one tooth in his whole mouth, but I hadn't. But what I thought of, that is remembered was the Art Fair downtown and that's where I spent most of this Saturday. It was a Kick!!!

DirecTV
I'm "getting over" the election today. I'm glad 11 passed and the smoking amendment. I can't look at TV though. I have a music channel playing. Progressive Rock. It's pretty good. Reminds me of how things used to be, all the friends, etc. Been thinking about these republicans. You know there was one out in Arizona or New Mexico a while back who enodorsed the legalization of drugs. Newt Gingrich said something about it once. Do you think they are trying to get ahead of the progressives on it? You better believe it, my mother would say. Do you know about the Adult Channels on DTV? I think there is going to be some work on them too. They have to be stopped.

Hunger in America
You know I am a little miffed at Amendment 11 passed and Bush won. Apparrently we didn't do enough polls on 11. We never saw the big picture there. The newspaper opposed 11. That was some hot shit. I was surprised they said to vote for McBride. They said vote McBride but they then supported Cliff Stearns reelection. I have heard Cunningham say they will get Stearns next time, the democrats, that is. It reminds me quite a bit of the lies I have read in the newspaper, like about Steve Spurrier and the Heisman Trophy. The Sun could have done something to elect Bill McBride and support the democratic party, but it didn't. There were also very few sites on the net, but then that is hindsight. Actually, I'm surprised and relieved 11 passed. I just wonder what "devious plans" Mr. Bush has to "get around it."

Jeb Bush (& family) Scandals
Well, we LOST! I worked on the phone bank today and held a sign on 16th and 34th St. I met a nice girl named Chris Smith. Bush is really a monster. His spanish is the spanish of South American Fascist! He Sucks! Justice will catch up with him and the rest of his family someday.

Bill McBride for Governor
I went out to an event for Bill McBride on Friday afternoon. He was at the Gainesville Airport. He wasn't at the usual place you expect people at the airport but on the other side where I think they take the private planes. Since I had to get directions to where he really was I was a little late. I decided to take some pictures since I had my camera with me and there was a large crowd. Many of the areas democratic politicos were on hand for the event including Sen. Smith, Rep. Jennings, former Rep. Chestnut, Roberta Lopez (who is running for a position to represent Archer in the State House, I think) and others. Lots of press, of course. It was very hard to get a picture. I have a telescopic lens on my camera and that may have done me more harm than good. I got to shake the candidate's hand and later I got a bumper sticker and was invited to the Democratic Headquarters on 13th ST just accross from Civitan Regional Blood Center. I visited them the next day and they sent on a precinct walk with one Paul McGinty. His name sounds familiar. I think he may be a writer for the Sun. It wouldn't be unusual for me to be teamed up with a Sun person since I write letters to the editor so frequently. We walked a precinct out by the Highway Patrol station. A very diverse community including young professionals and college aged afro-americans. Enough for now. I have to have a little something to eat. I've just had my coffee this morning. Hey, how about them Gators. They looked great out there, reminding me of some of the great Florida defensive teams. Those teams still had a little bit of offense with players like Wes Chandler, Don Gaffney and Nat Moore on them, but many remember them for their tough defense. OK, great game! Jaya Krishna, Jaya Govinda!

The Gainesville Sun
I wrote a letter to the editor yesterday about the Jake Fuller cartoon featured in the editorial pages. I'm getting sick of the newspaper.

Dognab it! Got a letter today, no at Nordstrom. After fixing myself to get up at 5 and 6 o'clock now I won't have to. "Money, money, money, money!MONEY!" The Ojays.

Nordstrom said they would contact me within the week and that was last Thursday. Still no word. Maybe they are not going to give me a job. :-(

Earlier Pages
Well, my interview went just fine. Nothing to it. So now I am waiting on a phone call (within the week) on whether they will take me. I am a little worried about the hours. I had heard 7AM-3:30PM Monday through Friday (actually I didn't hear M-F) but now I'm told 6AM-3PM, Monday through Saturday. That is real early in the morning and a lot of hours even at $8.00 an hour and you can't miss more than 2 days or your gone. I'm a big night owl and I am now just a little worried about the adjustment. I suppose though after that first check the anxiety will diminish, or maybe after the first couple of days.
Otherwise, I'm doing okay. I seem to be losing weight, too. I just finished up with Lake Area Fitness. I didn't renew because of the country music and the conservative points of view. You're always hearing rally around the flag and of course the conservative christian. On top of that those hemmorrhoids bothering. Although Dr. Colasante froze the hemmorrhoids I still experience pain. I use witch hazel on my asshole and sometimes some prescription suppositories. I really believe lifestyle has a lot to do with it. I'm so inactive. Maybe with this job coming up that will help. I took some Immodium AD because the ass was starting to hurt and I was going too often. It really helps with stopping the shit, but I'm afraid I may take it too often so I use other means like baths to help me out. The AD can make you feel a little funny. One is used to taking a dump regularly. Unfortunately, I often pass a lot of air when I take that stuff.
Funny about the weight. I don't know why I have lost so much. Mom just bought a new scale and one week I weighed 260, the next week I weighed 250, and the following week 240. Or so it seemed. I think the applying through One Stop Career Center might have helped. I had so many applications to make out and then I had places to go, as well. I hope it keeps up, but I also hope nothing is wrong with me. Remember Walter Payton and his sudden loss of weight that ended up being a liver disease that killed him. Well, on that sad thought, adieu. Have a good one.
Happy Anniversary to Miss and Boo and
Happy Birthday to Aunt Marguerite! :-)
