camera obscura was reallyreally good :) the band pulled off the gig well and tracyanne's voice was even better than expected! to be honest i wasnt a big fan before, but now i really do love it. :) and well, im glad my vegetable friend could make it- pls dont apologise anymore!

wellllll i guess an update is long overdue.
the past two weeks have been rather volatile, for the lack of a better word. quite a bit of drama went on but thankfully nothing excessive or exaggerated in my opinion. wellll, things are on the upside now and im just really really glad. (: hope things resume and we can laugh at all our little silly surprises like we used to.
i just realised the title of the entry is inappropriate HAHAS. i guess alicia keys marginalised the old in her songs ooooops not everyone's in their teens anymore. (i think my friends are gonna kill me, but im not quite referring to you all heheeee).

WELL, ive shed some of the insecurities from last night courtesy of the little happiness in my life. (:
1. papa made me breakfast. it was BLISS (: seriously. it wasnt fanciful or time-consuming to prepare but i felt very warm inside. he practically cooks everyday now and makes sure we always have decent food. cant really explain how happy and touched i felt. gave me strength to start my day/week even though i had a silent morning
2. wore mummy's shirt today. besides the fact that i think the shirt's really pretty && i like my outfit today, i feel kinda happy (: maybe there isnt a deeper meaning to it, but the crisp white and green cheered me up!
3. talked to jon on our way back home, about exchange & travelling in general. oh and our general fates as accountants (!!) yikess oh we did damn dumb things as usual (ahemmm running in & outta the train ._.) hhahhahas omg.
4. there was a bright full moon on my way home. :) just kinda reminded me of the beautiful day i last saw a full moon. i hugged myself (okay fine i was crossing my arms) enough to feel a tad bit stronger.
i havent had a silent day like this in awhile. and well, for the record its my first time paying full attention during 3601 lecture today! GASPPP amazing go ahead and ask me all about accouting for construction hahahahas oops.
BUT BUT, i do feel terrible for not attending ssa lecture- and no its not cus i care for the lecture content. guess i just dont have strength. im really sorry though

there are days where i spray my papa's cologne just to give me strength to make it through the day. i feel as though hes just close by, ready to chase away all the nastiness.
sometimes i wear mummy's clothes; for closet inspiration, for a look that isnt mine or for no reason at all. she'll always tell me im the prettiest even though im donned in clothes she'd discarded. and even though my eyes arent half as pretty.
sometimes the wrong song comes on at the wrong time. and when you press next it gets worse, like how Led Zeppelin is crooning now. even hugging your pillow doesnt help and i dont wanna know why.
i cant bring my pillow to school, i dont have a chiffon scarf to smell & mummy isnt around to hug me tonight. guess i should go to sleep soon then. monday blues shouldnt strike when the clock has already struck past midnight.
welllll on a lighter note (yes entries are not allowed to end on a sad note),

2. we're goings to trek the river in two days time! :) heheheeee field trip yeay i already thought of what to wear!

im glad it didnt rain today

anyways, a litle rummaging through my old stuff made me realised i missed eight people so darnest much. i miss the hurried dinners (ie. sakura) in town, where we hailed from vastly different directions. we were all drained, burnt and wayyy behind in our studies but it didnt matter. (: one of the million things i miss is the stupidest bitch fights we'll have.
