super hectic! bbcian gathering at my place in an attempt to do up the scrapbook. HAHAS you guys were fab at giving "moral support" tskkkkk. cabbed to joyce's with LUNCH! hahs the poor girl was starving & cursing us for being so late. it was great to talk to everyone (:

went our separate ways after that, and i headed to the Hip & Happening AMK hub! lol private joke. met TWENTYTHREEOHFIVE on 23/05 for dinner. sadly diana & my attempt at a class gathering failed miserably. ohwells we tried our best! major yayness to diana, kianlin, mei er, yeetheng & zibbie :D NewYorkNewYork-ed where we caught up. I LOVE YOU GUYS TONNES ! (: oh except for one part where i got questioned. TSK omggg you all are still dead gossipy la ._.

met dor & xiang after that for brief shopping before going to the airport. woahh long bus ride which almost killed xiang :| met vonn who bought me Venezia! -GRINSS. thanks for sneaking it out aye, loves. Popeye-ed while working on the scrap book and the rest joined us.

hrmm hung around the airport till like 5am then sent joyce off. SIGH :(

i wanna kick myself for not getting outta bed earlier today. URGH >:( now i have no time for shopping growlssss. a trip back there is totally due (despite tomorrow being my precious off day)

- waffle date with ming today. :D uh kinda rushed but better than nothing!

- almost died laughing at the runner area. was polishing the menu at the cashier counter when kelvin signalled to joseph for me to go over. went over and kelvin told me the stalker had something to ask me before going on to call for him. i like totally GLARED at kelvin okay. was super apprehensive wondering what lame things they could come up with. and the question went: uhhh i wanted to ask if .. if .. you wanna drink the soup? OMGGGG okay it doesnt sound funny here but kelvin & i ended up in laughing fits okay. we couldnt even carry the pot of soup for fear of dropping it.

- so anyways, my dating habits are an open secret at work; how i fish using the AMEX pen :D joseph was telling me that stalker might actually be a "good catch" ._. i said, i'd rather let this fish swim away. even if they used it to make Fish & Fries, i wouldnt give a damn. - the CHINs came by to visit today :D hahs thanks for dropping by though i wouldve appreciated more "GREAT SERVICE" on the feedback form & less "you suck" & "asshole" :D no complaints anyways!

- Brinjal came by on saturday enroute to Swensens. THANKS .____. hahs ohwells same goes, i welcome all visits! oh if youre reading this, i havent thought of the BBBBB phrase yet. :( why must the second word be Brinjal & third a verb yikessss! that aside, i totally dig What A Sight :D dont ever forget me. i know you know!

- ive grown used to hosting. in fact, i thought that i did a great job on Saturday :) YAY no jams plus good sales! oh, and i met my sales target on Sunday GRINSSS. without any help from ToyBoy (the Liar)! -smug look.

- my nails look horrible now. ughh blame it on my itchy fingers that loves peeling them. of course, the nail-clipper that couldnt be found is also at fault.

- dina & ming said that i remind them of fang. hrmm, how should i explain this? ive always thought that shes a real gem: full of smiles, friendly, mighty sweet, fantastic personality & super pretty to boot. no im not suggesting i possess these qualities ._. i was really surprised to hear that from them cus ive never compared myself with fang. and it feels more strange thinking that i came to replace her. its like ive inherited everyth, from hosting to the freaky stalker. funniest thing, shes born on 13dec.

laid on my room floor staring at the ceiling this afternoon. looked at the pictures looking back at me; people whom i once knew and those once loved (for some, still love very much). it was so strange that i dont even recognise myself anymore.

on my way home, i was thinking of resigning from work. hosting, the lack of support from my family & other issues really made me feel so unhappy. then kelvin sent me the sweetest message, which made me decide to stay on. i realised tht for everyone person that brings me down, theres another who'll be my cheerleader. hahs please dont imagine kelvin in the costume :|

anyways, mingming will be transferred to Cathay next week :( RAWR. im heartbroken! i want my mingming back laaaaa. sigh i cant imagine being stuck with the freshies ALONE. okay at least i'll be hosting & wont have to face them. :D

been feeling terrible lately- cant wait for the weekend to be over. hosting is really stressing me out though it seems freaking simple. spoke to joseph last week about how i feel really useless at times, in the sense of my role being unimportant. he was really nice, told me what exactly is expected of a good hostess & how crucial my role is. i didnt really get what he was telling me until Friday night. guess i got complacent and didnt do my job well; poor planning, inappropriate table allocation & not being alert etc. for instance i should have expected large groups and thus made sure that the tables could be joined when necessary. instead i got careless, which caused alot of unnecessary waiting.

SIGH.

cant wait for two weekends from now, cus i'll be off :D im really looking forward to the trip, albeit only a short one. plus location's not exactly exciting. but the thought of seeing my uncle & his family after eight years makes me HAPPY :) yesyes, yayness!

im really glad to have this two-day break from work. :D met up with the bbcians today! -grinssss. love the girls much cus i feel so at ease. hehe even when i rattle on & on without making sense, i feel happy :D but it was quite terrible dodging certain parts of Marina Square trying to hide from you-know-who/what. urghh and i had to lug the heavy non-slip mats around in the gi-normous (and hideous) HomeFix plastic bag ._.

oh something real strange: the places we visited for dinner/drinks only had male waiters! we kept trying to figure out who was the manager. hehsss cus i told them that over at my place, its mostly female workers cus of the pervert we have for a manager.

hahs i missed talking :D as in be my happy spastic self & not convince people to dine with us. hosting is so not talking man, its like repeating the same things over again till they dont make sense anymore. there was once it was so busy, i went like Our soup of the day is from Ben & Jerry's. omggggg i almost fainted la! hahas the customers looked at me like totally stunned while i stared wide-eyed in horror. well a typical welcome greeting goes like Hi evening! Our soup of the day is the cream of _______ and the dessert flavour is _________ from Ben & Jerry's ._. hahas Auntie Lisa suggested that i ought to get a tape recorder! i like farhan's though: bar stools for us both, one at the cashier and another at the entrance :D

okok work-related issues aside, im glad i met up with you too! hmmmm, Black Pepper Men? :D i know youre reading this LOL. okay or at least i have a hunch that you are. i was kinda down the past few days cus i felt like we've drifted apart after graduating from AJ. it was even worse when i started recalling how we were so much closer back in j1. :| but anyways, glad youre willing to take time out from your ahem, busy schedule to meet up aye :D and yes, im still waiting for my treat okays rich kid! hahs and no one wants to buy my 5dollar-per-digit number yet

so anyway, i got shortlisted for the SMU scholarship (which explains the interview). its quite a major surprise considering my arrogant tone in the free response question (think: super bitch). hrmmmm i suppose the weirdest things happen aye.

if i take into consideration next week's schedule, i'll be working a total of 11days in a row. yikes! hrmmm and honestly, im quite unwilling to see albert leave. yes contrary to my previous proclamation of hating him. i mean hes done a fine job as barman & even before leaving was still so responsible. i think theyre right, we're trained to be a notch above the rest!

hahs but im not a super Hostess despite having so much practise :( tonight hao, josua & i had a competition to see who could get more customers within 2 half hour slots. rawrrr i was owned big time by hao yikes. think 32pax vs 14pax ._. demoralised big time okay! even josua did better than me aye. but it made the evening pass much faster :D managed to PDA quite abit too -grinss. plus hao shared his prize of brownies with me! :) yummyness cus albert gave us choc AND vanilla icecream :D

i think trust is something so important in any relationship that it can make or break.

something hilarious that happened during work just now. my honey wanted me to go for break with him, so he came to the hostess area to look for me. hahs joseph got jealous and asked him, "if you call her darling, what about me??". honey wanted to call him baby jokingly but out came barbie (ie. pig in malay) ._. LOL joseph almost killed him while we laughed like crazy.

alan came back to help us at the bar! :) although the help wouldve been far more appreciated if he was around on friday night. i almost died trying to squeeze tables out of nowhere. sigh now my throat hurts :| oh! number five came back too aye :D

been thinking alot lately, mostly about JC days & my life now. im really glad that my free time is really mine now. power naps & rushing around are pretty much the past. :) i hang out with people whose company i genuinely enjoy, meet up with my friends when im free & most importantly sleep sufficient hours every day.

im starting to have my shopaholic woes again lately. there's this bag which i am in love with but super pricey :( a sweater too.

right, i wanna sleep like soon. hell tired after closing practically the entire restaurant ._. yikes! wells meeting mingming for a 45min shopping trip tomorrow :D hope we can get wht we want wheeee!

i am so tired, i cant wait for next week. sigh and i probably cant get this sunday off to meet my sisters :( mighty depressing i swear. we're so terribly understaffed UGH. hopefully the freshies next week dont leave after 2days :(

lunch with mingming was great :) and for the record, i wasnt late BEAMS! twas good to stroll to work despite being 15min late. hahas days without steven are so relaxing :) PDA-ed today as well. uhh, i mean i used the PDA to take orders today. hahas fun stuff although i kinda missed out on some orders. :D

thought of something hilarious that happened just now. for some reason mingming got the impression that kelvin agreed to buy jialing & zhehao dinner tomm, after his meeting. hahs cus they got transferred to Cathay to help out tomorrow evening. mingming said she tried to protest against him being so nice towards them but it was futile, and hence wanted me to support her. being so tired & whiney lately, i totally marched up to kelvin demanding to know why he was so unfair. i rambled on & on giving him the most pitiful face, while he looked so lost. hahas the poor guy didnt mention anyth about buying them dinner and got a WAI treatment. he ended up pinky-promising to buy mingming & i dinner instead just to pacify me! the worst thing is that he doesnt even need to come back for work after his meeting tomorrow la.

right i gotta sleep; meeting LEI & VONN for brunch tomorrow :D like finally~~~~~ woots! i cant wait aye!

they are unbelievably long & yucky: i dont have a single off day this week. its to the extent tht i work more hours than josua who's a full-timer. yikes we are seriously shorthanded aye!

2. YAYNESS
been spending tonnes of time with mingming :)) im really glad to have her around! okay its just everyone working there. yes including denis, kelvin & simon cus they dote on me :)) being with them really makes me SMILE! speaking of which, kelvin said that he cant bear to scold me once he sees my face. HAHS hilarious :D

3. SUPPER
we all had supper togt :) kitchen staff to service crew to the bar man! YAYNESSSSS~! it all started with kelvin's pinky promise to buy us a drink after work today. then we got everyone else to come down & join us. sweet :)

nahh, its not that ive stopped being assigned as hostess. rather i couldnt smile at all just now :| i wasnt tired, but just couldnt force even a plastic smile yikes! twas kinda bad really, so got amy & dina to help me host instead. and its kinda depressing that im not as alert tending to the floor as before. kept forgetting to do stuff aye. :| and i feel like kicking myself for letting something like tht whiz pass me. ohwells getting random

5. OTHER STUFF
ive decided to treat albert better. thought about it and i realised that ive been prejudiced against him. its like i forgot that he has feelings too, asshole or not. i felt really bad when joseph told us what albert said: why do the girls look like theyve seen a ghost when they see me?. yikes :(


meeting mingming for lunch before work tomorrow! :) promised her that i wouldnt be late, hahs hope i can keep it.

ooh realised something! i almost bought his bracelet thing in tioman, but thought it was overpriced. the next thing i knew, my brother bought the very same thing in Redang (or so i presume). i wonder how much he paid for this. hahs okay this is not the point. point is, WE BOTH HAVE GOOD TASTE ! :D

fang has quit :( sigh i really hate this to happen. and no, its not because i hafta replace her as Hostess (which i already did). just that i feel as if we're not close as before. some study in the day, while the rest work at night. and its not like they can join us for supper either :(

we had our Labour Day supper today :) okay maybe it was cus our pay is finally here -GRINS

mingming asked me to switch to full time (since my hours are horribly long, but more on that later). sighhhh should i? she'll stay on for me aye, which is such a motivating factor :D anyways we realised something: zhehao is in fact, older than alan. okay this sounds weird but when you see them you'll know why we're amazed.
