The rain depresses me.

I'm finally catching up with the pace of school (i.e. stopped feeling like a sleepy lost sheep all the time) but sigh it's always one step ahead of me. Waisy please buck up!

Anyways it seems like bad luck week for me boo :(
1. Got caught in the rain two days in a row.
2. Tubs & I were late for class though we set off so early ugh seriously wtf is with Singapore traffic.
3. Eyes grew mysteriously swollen as if I was punched in the face or sth.

BUT I did do some shopping this week and I know my luck is gonna change tomorrow cus I bought the winning Toto ticket! Yes I'm delusional and I must confess I already started planning how to use my winnings.

Okay end of rant, I think I need to get a life.

Been meaning to update but school's been kinda overwhelming, at least by my standards. Oh well 11 more weeks to go and I'll be done!

Anyways I finally cut my hair last week. To be honest I'm still unsure what I feel though. Although my hair's not that short, I really miss having looong hair. :(( On the other hand I love the fuss-free maintenance. And it feels great to have healthy hair ends at last. Oh well I'l post a picture when I have a nice one haha.

Finally settled all my modules thank goodness :) My timetable kinda sucks though; ohwell it's my last semester so I probably shouldn't complain. I filed for graduation today yikes time really flies!

Enough about school, moving on to my social life. It's been kinda fun meeting up with my lovely friends the past two weeks :))) Highlights were probably the Huskies' anniversary brunch and celebrating Lei's birthday <3 Kinda awesome to see everyone cus it's been awhile!

Caught The Fighter over the weekend :) I gotta say that Christian Bale was amazing. He lost so much weight since Batman its unbelievable. Totally recommend the show, it's quite a feel-good movie :)

Can't for Chinese New Year cus I'm broke aikes. Dug out coins from my piggybank in attempt to be thrifty hahaha so mad pathetic. It's not really working though cus I spent nearly $20 buying mochi haha pls dont judge me. Yikes I'm banking my hope on Toto hee hope I'll strike!

I always thought that if we were friends it would be forever. Like regardless of how long it has been, we would be able to pick up right where we left off. I guess thats not always true. Seeing E a couple of days back only served as a reminder of how much our paths diverged since they last crossed. Perhaps we shouldn't have met, at least then I would only remember the way we were at the peak of our friendship.

Sigh, I hate growing up.

While I am amazed at how quickly the year has passed, I am glad to close the chapter of 2010 and look forward to an exciting 2011. It has been a memorable year in many ways; I have certainly discovered more about myself and the people around me.

This year, life presented several challenges that caused me despair and confusion on numerous occasions. I found myself simply going through the motions at times, disconnected with the world around me. Otherwise I was busy planting seeds of self-doubt into my own head. Fortunately I came to the beautiful realization that in the end everything will be okay. Things will work out; and even if they don't do so as planned, that's fine so long as I've tried my best. After all, happiness is a choice and freedom is a state of mind.

I am extremely thankful for the people who was around when 2010 kicked off and are still around as it draws to an end. It has been wonderful having you in my life and also being a part of yours. Lovely ones, be assured that I will continue to hold you near and dear to my heart in 2011. :)
