I always have mixed feelings when I go through old stuff. Today I found some letters and birthday cards which I don't even remember receiving. It's all so sweet and happy the way things were between us. Sigh sadly I don't speak to more than half of these people anymore.

On the other hand, it's great looking at stuff from friends I still hang out with. :) Can't believe I've been friends with the bbcians for a decade and I've known my bestie for 16 years. WOW amazing much.

Anyway I found the most hilarious thing, decided to share it with you guys.

Valentine's day was better a decade ago. When the school was filled with balloons, flowers, sweets, chocolates and hugging girls.

Couldn't agree more with what Lei said but I guess this weekend made up for it :))) Last night was seriously epic I haven't laughed and screamed this much in the longest time! So freaking awesome hanging out with ditsy girls and giggling non stop at everything. It was definitely a night of many firsts for us hee :)

For today, I had brunch with my lovely bestie. As usual it was a ball of fun talking nonsense and also about serious things. :) Did a bit of shopping ahh why don't we have more time for this? Boo school's such a bitch ugh!

What a week! I'm so glad it's the weekend and that recess week is finally here :D While there's still tonnes of work to be done, I'm kinda relieved to take a break from attending classes this week.

It's been a great weekend thus far, immensely happy to spend time alone :) Let me break down my day for you.

YESS THIS IS THE LIFE. I'm taking "eat, sleep, repeat" to a whole new level.

Amidst the madness of school, I managed to catch a couple of movies. Black Swan and The King's Speech were immaculate; I definitely recommend those two. There are so many good shows now that it's award season woohoo looking forward to the Oscars.

Speaking of awards, I'm surprised but also proud that the Arcade Fire won the best album at the Grammys! :) Wow indie music ftw seriously. Oh yes I am really happy that Justin Bieber didn't win! I'd probably lose hope in the judges ugh

Okay guess I better stop rambling for now. Gotta get ready for my skanky date with some naughty gurlz hehee ;)

Though flowers are such a waste of money at this time of the year, I still love them <3 Please don't judge me, they are so pretty and smell amazing.

Oh well, Happy Valentines' Day everyone! :)

It's beautiful how happiness can be found in the most simple places; dancing in the living room, giggling over a glass of bubbly, rolling popiah for dinner, squeezing in a cozy room gambling and amazing conversations.

Why can't everyday be Chinese New Year?

I guess the Cloud Gate reminds me of the sunny afternoon we spent roaming Chicago. :) Wonder when I'll get to see the shiny bean again.
