For a petty price of 499 House points and some Galleons, newcomer Caitlin Weasley agreed to give us the scoop on what she knows about the Trisha Potter incident.
She says she knows too much.

NEW EVIDENCE SUPPORTING TRISHA POTTER
Undigging the Crime Slowly, but Surely

More news on Trisha Potter! Slowly but surely, things are coming together. Today, while I, Zoe Spellman, was searching around the Gryffindor Message Boards I found one of our only clues that supports Trisha. The NORMAL postings, that are posted on an average basis by Trisha Potter appear to be INNOCENT.
As I explained in my previous article, Trisha's email (or perhaps the framer going as Trisha's email) is available on the "threat post". The other innocent and average messages that were posted 9 minutes before, and 1 minute after the threat post appear to have different email address's available. This means the THREAT message and the INNOCENT messages may have been posted by two different people, or 1 person; the "threat post" being some somebody elses email. Confusing as all of this framing business is, the framer may have targeted for this.
The odds are against having it be two different people who have posted, it is practically impossible the two different people going under the same name (one being the framer) sign on at 2 AM on the same night! Though this is what it shows, there is still no evidence supporting Trisha Potter's innocence. The email address that was left in the threat post was an AOL account, meaning they have a screen name. We will be tracking to see if this is a real email address or not. There are millions of things that each theory is based on, and we haven't been able to get a steady theory yet.
So goes, the only name that we've been able to classify as suspicious is clearly Trisha Potter herself. Though highly unlikely, this riot could have been STARTED by Trisha Potter, been then actually taken place by a real framer, a smart student who's clearly thought all of this through. Only a task a true criminal could accomplish.
Also, the Gryffindor Messages Board has been tensely quiet since the threat, as expected. Nobody would want to be involved in such a disturbing situation and at this point we strongely urge students to come forth and tell the leaders and anxious daily prophet reporters ANY information what-so-ever. Please be careful about the information you give out, unless you are positively sure it's safe, after all there is no hint of victory of this case in the air YET.
An interview is being scheduled between Headmistress Parkinson and myself so I can question her about anybody who may be suspicious in her mind. We'll then investigate the names and slowly try to clear them off until the culprit is uncovered. I also hope to interview Trisha Potter herself on her feelings about this framer and any evidence she may have to support herself, as we truely want to be able to clear young Trisha Potter's name.
