white streak ~
first off: some of the last movies i saw in the theaters were bringing down the house, head of state, and one more we don't talk about. bulletproof monk....don't you say a word.
so is it any wonder i saw X2 twice? :) hooray bryan singer, for making a good movie based on some tough and pretty resonant story lines. you rule.
picasso went up last weekend, and i can't remember the last time i honestly had so much -fun- working on a show. (you can check out the short review that was in the record.) the script, the cast, the rehearsing, it was all such a great time. =) okay, here's the part where i admit i'm glad it's over, though. i need the down time...
things i got done today:
1. got my watch battery replaced. *finally* i can stop bugging people for the time. and also i don't have to look all pretentious and show-off-y by taking out my cell phone ("i'm just looking at the clock! i don't have a watch!")
2. picked up film. =) black and whites. gorgeous. i love photos of college.
3. thanked kari for my early birthday gift--season two of buffy. kari, you know you didn't have to. :O) but i thank you so much, cause you always know just how to make me feel special. love you!!
4. set up my background check for the LAPD this summer. also vowed to myself i wouldn't be nervous this time around, b/c i know exactly what is going to happen and i don't need to be anxious.
5. caught up with kate. :) for a little bit, at least, which was good. we promised to catch up more often.
6. got a tat. it's a heart, and in it says "jimbo." he drew it himself.
7. painted my toenails. okay, not really. i'm just about to go do that now.
He's goin. ...I looove watchin' him go!

He had discovered that Myrtle had some sort of life apart from him in another world, and the shock had made hiim physically sick. I stared at him and then at Tom, who had made a parallel discovery less than an hour before--and it occurred to me that there was no differentce between men, in intelligence or race, so profound as the difference between the sick and the well.
is this strange? i miss tests. i think i'm going to take more classes next year with tests.
